  1. Indeed. It's just too much hassle to base the entire trip on it. It's 20 minutes of very nice healing, yes, but by no means overpowered unless you jump through hoops to make it so... When it's much more practical to just kill it normally and activate the aura every 20 minutes to save yourself a few brews. You're probably just better off using equilibrium or something.
  2. More zaaps. More Greens. More me's. Who wants to mount a massive harpover of TIF? :P It's already happening. We have 2 mods and an admin. what do + can use the Times to spread propaganda. Just get LTK to replace every positive reference to Runescape with one to the Harpies.
  3. I usually don't like ultra-realistic graphics. The attention to detail for violent scenes (Example: CoD4/WaW stabbings and dog attacks) is unnerving enough as it is, especially since a lot of the other animations plunge headfirst into uncanny valley. It just kind of shows where their priorities are. Plus, stylized or unrealistic graphics add character to the game. Team Fortress 2 wouldn't be nearly as unique if it didn't look like a deranged Pixar film, and part of the appeal of anime-style games is that if it's done well it seems like you're watching anime (Done poorly, and it's even more terrifying than a Western game of the same quality). It just depends on the games and what kind of style they're going for, I think.
  4. Just a note, corrupt Pmod mutes for dicing tend to get lifted within hours, since dicing isn't against the rules.
  5. Not denying that fashion is becoming more androgynous, because pretty much everything is. Both sexes are getting a bit more freedom from traditional gender roles, and I'd think that pants for women has to do with that - Women have options that would have been restricted to men in the past, and get the clothing that fits those options. Because pants are, quite frankly, good at everything
  6. I'd think it has more to do with practicality and society's values. There are bound to be quite a few things that you can't do in a skirt. And it seems Tripsis beat me to it.
  7. IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Had TIF withdrawals and a lot of moments where I was thinking "This would be a great post for... wait. [cabbage]!" <3: Staff members who got it working

This was the most depressing list I have ever seen. Then Wiggly appeared and it made me feel better
  10. He says, when his post remains unanswered after 42
  11. That one bit of hair that refuses to stay out of your field of vision. A sane man would suggest that it's time for a haircut. NOT I.
  12. The trend seems to be that we overestimate how smart we (Both as individuals and as 21st century teenagers/young adults) are, while greatly underestimating how smart everyone else is (Individuals and predecessors).
  13. Could not find. Instead, here's a Harpy-Batman that I drew in about 60 seconds.
  14. I did the same, but spent most of the class making a comic book out of my planner. coolface.jpg
  15. My views are more in line with his than the other guy's, but I just don't like him personally and don't think he could win this deathmatch
  16. Let's get this out of the way; Both men are probably too big to sustain a fight for very long. That said, Moore is apparently an NRA member, though if Wikipedia is to be believed, he plans to dismantle the organization (And so probably does not use guns). And he seems more like he would try to talk a problem away than fight it. I don't know much about Christie, but he is/was an attorney and is currently in politics, and therefore would probably be willing to get his hands dirty.

Have you ever tried playing? Sure it looks boring, but when you're the one playing you have an entire sandbox to do anything you want. Once you come up with things to do, it's a nonstop adventure from there. But if you watch then you'll never have the control to do what you want, thus, it would look boring. Indeed. It's pretty much just like lego, but you will never spend half the day looking for that one piece you saw 30 times before you needed it.
  18. To be read in the voice of Morgan Freeman: Excerpt from a lecture by Dr. Steven Hawkman, professor of history and ambassador from the New Reclaimed Free Republic of California. September 31, 2788. "We all know about what happened at the Great Disaster. Records even show that those living in the early 21st century knew of it, but as the science of Astrology has not been perfected, few took prophecy seriously. Those that did were eaten by wolves before they had a chance to say "I told you so", but I digress. It seems that as late as 2011, the entities known as Harpies still flew amongst mortal men. These creatures, as you know, appeared to humans as attractive humans with wings in place of arms and talons in place of legs, and are believed to have been the source of every technological advancement between 1500 CE and 2011 CE, before ascending to the heavens as war was beginning worldwide. In November of 2011, there were three factions of harpies: Those following a figure known as Zaaps and those who followed Meredith, which can be boiled down to a conflict between male and female deities, and those who remained neutral. At first, this conflict was small; A menstruation joke on one day, with an ejaculation joke on the next, but their harpies grew restless. On the third of January, blood was spilled as the Last to Know (Believed to be a title granted to the head of the Church of Harpy) was slain in his bed. Zaapsian harpies responded with stealth, as harpies were believed to be related to birds and were far too light for a sustained conflict. Of course, by September of that year, the skies were a battlefield. It was on December 21st that the United States, the country that most strongly supported the Zaapsian harpies, attacked Lithuania, believed to be the capital of Eurasia and stronghold of the Meredithian harpies, with a nuclear bomb. Meredith herself was said to have appeared at this time in order to intercept the bomb with her golden wings, but to no avail. When the United States launched the first bomb, security safeguards from the cold war were activated, and every single nuclear bomb on the planet was launched simultaneously. When the smoke cleared, there were no harpies left and only a handful of humans, who have struggled to reclaim what was left of society ever since.
  19. If it still looks like the maps shown here http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Skyrim , not really. Unless it's the entire map (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:TamrielMap.jpg), where it could probably pass for the eastern continent... :-k Plus, you have dragons returning and a lot of focus on the northern province, so maybe. If Alduin's Wall is 700 feet high and has monsters behind it, then somebody's getting sued

Beats the usual arguing that happens here.
  21. As the Harpy killer psychopath assassin professional, I accept this challenge
  22. I actually laughed at that. Well played. It's horrible, but so did I.
  23. The Expedition - A live Kamelot album from 2000. God damn their early stuff was awesome (Assuming Roy Khan is singing it)
  24. But I like my iPod  No interest in their computers, tablets, or phones, but the MP3 player is nice.
