Actually, Latias and Kyogre are in gold. Latios and Groudon are in Silver.
  2. Well Zeus and Odin are supposed to come back as well. And Odin has an entire army behind him when he comes back at the end of the world, Jesus got nothin'. Is this before or after the eventual zombie apocalypse? If a big chunk of Earth's population gets Rapture'd away before the zombies happen, we lose quite a few otherwise capable fighters against them. All I know about the mechanics of Ragnarok comes from Age of Mythology, but if it's anything like that, we're not quite as screwed.
  3. This. I for one don't give a [cabbage] about who wronged who, what's killing the community is the fact that the groups has an inflated sense of their own importance. These fights pop up on every damn thread, and it's getting old.

You didn't really miss anything except a long string of oxymorons.
  5. XBL is ALGtypething. Though I do most of my gaming on Steam/handhelds these days. Speaking of which, a section for Steam would make sense too.

Other way around. Marx wrote communism, governments incorporated it as some kind of socialism and called it communism. Then later some other countries tried it again and did pretty well. I'm also speaking out of my ass

In name only. I think socialism refers to government control over the means of production while communism is public control.

I think that some stores sell through Amazon if they have stuff they can't get rid of.

It can't. Having seen a shiny Reshi/Zekrom is enough to ban you from the Global Link (Though this may also be because the code that does this also registers Keldeo, Genesect, and Meloetta), and if you hack to make the Dragonspiral one shiny, the game will crash before the battle starts. Same happens with Victini, I think. Serebii's changed their info on this since the release.

Shiny Reshi also glows purple, and shiny Zekrom glows green. Shame the only way you can see that is through hacking. The only shinies I've legitimately found were the ones that either looked worse (Crobat, Hydreigon if I bothered to train the thing) or barely different (Beautifly).
  12. In this case it does. Why do you continue to deflect from the fact that playing WoW is not the same as forced goldmining for hours on end, day in and day out, under threat of physical punishment? The difference between physical and mental perhaps? Which would definitely downplay the psychological aspect of torture, stress, and so on. Could even be used to deny that psychological torture exists. I'm sure that certain governments would be thrilled by that.
  13. It's all fun and games until you start to hallucinate and/or die of sleep deprivation. Then it's [bleep]ing hilarious. Am I right? Perhaps if you're already spending unhealthy amounts of time on Runescape, as many of you probably are. It's a bit jarring how frequently I hear people ingame talking about how it's 4AM and they'll go to sleep after they finish x level. Or more telling, when I go to sleep and 10 hours later come back to find the same people ingame. And that's voluntary. Imagine ending your day of backbreaking labor by being forced to grind for another 12 hours. Rinse and repeat for as long as possible. That's when it gets to be torture. That's also the part people seem to miss, whether they're trolls or genuinely too stupid to know the difference.
  14. Obt's gonna father a legion of children, first around the LA/SD area, then throughout the rest of the US west, then around the world. The only indicator will be their unbelievable good looks and incredible ukulele talent. These children will eventually continue the cycle, until the world is ruled by a legion of attractive musical supermen. Then, the world will end, for completely unrelated reasons. Having defined teams seems like the original plan, where we were going to have colonial, research, and combat/defense teams. We could probably still have colonial and research, and the combat team could be Nero's pirates.

I was just thinking of an ending in-story. Don't intend to go any further than that

Wouldn't it be possible to make it so that people could come and go as they please?
  18. At the pace you're currently on, you'll have it much sooner. :)

Is staying behind to manage the dream-world better a good option? To turn it into something other than the sadistic game it currently is.

Why is eaten by a fox not good enough?
  21. And really, sitting in the same spot grinding in an MMO for 12 hours is equally extreme. Let's put this in perspective. 8 AM to 8 PM in the same spot, repeating the same task, and being beaten if you don't meet your quota? Combined with said sleep deprivation. The only kind of person who would really be okay with that is an MMO addict, and I really hate to play that card here.

    Characters without flaws are boring.
  23. @ Blyaunte So I'm guessing that the message here is that not only did you not read the article, you're a troll? @ Thread: It's forced labor. Not entirely surprising given what the popular conception of China is, and just how lucrative MMO gold/items are.
  24. Pyroes have relatively low health, fight in close quarters, and rely quite a bit on indirect damage (Except backburners, but those are shamefully rare). The last place a medic wants to be when his charge runs out is close to an enemy. Soldiers and Heavies tend to fight at mid-range, and it's easy to hide behind one of them, or generally be out of the way before the charge ends. I've always thought you were supposed to play backburner like a spy, though
