Anyone remember the cow glitch? It was fixed almost immediately, but the cow would leave attackable bones. I reported this bug, but did anyone else experience this bug?

Little People Big World - Anybody noticed?
gatesn276 replied to F_M_N_T's topic in General Discussion
Yep, which is cool, except it was a horrible screenie. Showing a dude in full steel  standing inside the building where the Alkharid warriors are does not portray a good image for the game. Shoulda had a pic of some pure kicking buttocks or something! -
Hmmm...I'd say porbably when I knew that wheat wasn't a rare item and that having 20 strength isn't really that good. Also when I killed a monk, I felt pretty good.

Loge_05 is cool 8-)

Normally less then an hour during the week. During Saturaday and Sunday though, I can sometimes play up to 4 hours a day, occasionally going beyond that amount.

I like Adventure Quest better then Dragonfable, but runescape better then both. I play AQ when doing something boring in Runescape, such as cutting yews.

Not everybody likes combat...

Um, let's see...I was doing a level 3 clue with a close friend(who conveniently has 99 str and mage at 110 combat) and my first coordinate was at the moss giants in the wild. After searching for it for around 20 minutes(the wilderness had just been updated), we finally found it and I dug, got another clue, etc...Next one says near the axes hut in the wild. Uncoveniently being on world 18, we world hop and head over there, not without me being hit by a lvl 76 suicidal(or scout...gulp) that poisoned me. My autoretaliation was off, but my friends kindness was done with. The 76 wouldn't be bothering us again. I get the new clue, which sends us back to the moss giants. I kill the Zamorak wizard while my friend nonchalantly barrages some moss giants for fun. Hoping the next clue was on the way out of the wild, I check the coordinates, and back to the axes hut for us...I got what I thought was the final clue, directing me to the shores of Rellekka. My friend came once more, deciding that I needed protection from the rock crabs. I retrieve the final clue and head to Karamja, where the reward reveals itself in a rune full helm and 46 laws... :wall: :wall: :wall:

Question : Did you make your Rs Character look like you?
gatesn276 replied to Toad's topic in General Discussion
Bah, sue me, but my character started off black, and I'm white. My friend(who is black) who introduced the game to me, created my character, using the name I told him. Apparently he forgot to make it look like me. I didn't know how to change this until I learned about the barber shop, makeover mage, etc...now, my character looks like Santa Claus, minus the rolls. -
Unfair that it is only possible to do 1 spec when ranging?
gatesn276 replied to Ghost-Knigth's topic in General Discussion
I think the special is fine right now as it is. 90+ ranged does excellent damage, and is extremellly accurate, cutting through barrows armor like cheese. Along with the new ranging prayers, ranging has become even stronger. While you may say my argument as being biased, I think I've seen more barrows fall to the twang of a bow then to the slash of a dagger. My thoughts... -
Notice the massive damage dealt by these players...lol I was there, on a different account.

I belive it was 99.999k feathers at a drop party. I thought it was kinda weird...Sorry, I didn't take a pic, didn't know how at the time.

In order for updates to come out every week or so, Jagex has to have several different projects going on at once, as they themselves have said. Hopefully, this means they'll be surprising us...and the frozen wastelands has been talked about recently, around the time of the Royal Trouble quest, perhaps? Just my thoughts on the subject.

~:Worst Thing You Have Ever Alched For Fun:~
gatesn276 replied to mini193's topic in General Discussion
Happens way too often to me. So far I've alched a dragon longsword, dragon battleaxe, and a whip...all accidently. I was killing basilisks, got a addy helm, and wanted to alch it. so I equip my fire staff and alch away, then click to requip weapon, and... wingwowngwingwingiwingwing<----Alch noises :D -
Most Boring: Agility/Construction Most Pointless:Agility Even though you guys say firemaking has no reason to exist, you can make some good cash burning shade remains.

Yes, I don't see why it shouldn't. :D -
When you die dragon longsword> whip...Not anymore!
gatesn276 posted a topic in RuneScape Suggestions
You might be wondering what i'm talking about. I'll explain. Have you ever been playing Runescape, when all of a sudden all movement of the monsters/eople on the screen stop? Oh no, it's lag :( then once your connected once more to the server, your character is standing in Falador or Lumbridge will a few less stuff to lug around? and you also notice that it kept something of less market value(Dragon Lonsword) over something with more market value(Abyssal Whip)? Hate that, don't you? This idea can make it so that something out of your control(lag) doesn't make you lose your hardearned items. Take a look at this screenshot I put together. What items would you want to keep? I'd want to keep the Abyssal whip, the dragon medium helm, the rune defender, and the rune boots. The rest can be reobtained fairly cheaply. The 4th item is only protected if the "protect item" prayer is on. To make sure that these options are set, I'd click on the button to the left of the friend list, which in my screenshot is enclosed in yellow lines. It will open up a window in the chat box(temporarily blocking it out) or in a large window like your bank. The window now open, you'd click and drag the item you want protected and kept the most over to the space by the number 1. This would be the only item kept if you're skulled with protect item prayer on. Then click and drag the 3 other items in your equipped items to the other spots. The window must reset your equipped items protection every time you change your amror/weapons. If you die, you will keep the items you had set in there, instead of protecting ring of wealth over dragon medium. Thanks for reading this, sorry for being confusing, because I didn't know how to really explain this. Comments, please. I don't care if you like this or not, I don't mind what you say, so feel free to speak your mind. In anticipation of people who say"this will ruin pking", maybe after a certain level in the wild, this no longer comes into affect. -
This might be a slighlty overused topic, with other guides on it, but who says there can't be different versions? This guide is not for people who choose to solo it, so don't hate me for that. It is also not a guide for people with lower defencive levels. It is, however, geared toward combat 80+ melee killers of the KBD. Getting Started: -Get on a relatively populated world 1400+ so the KBD spawns faster -Bring however many friends as you'd like, although the profits are more slim with more people. -Make sure there is not an excessive amount of pkers on your world. Supplies: Weapons- It is optional to bring more then one weapon to kill the KBD, but a ddp++(formerly known as dds) to poisonn it/hit some specials on it, as well as another high-and-accurate-hitting weapon(whip/d scimmy) is recommended. Armor- ALWAYS HAVE ANTI-FIREBREATH SHIELD EQUIPPED! 1. Team of 3 and under- A. Protecting from melee- I suggest to bring best magic bonus as possible. Example:The body, the legs, and the vambs of the hgihest dragonhide you can wear. Bring a Glory amulet or Power amulet, although Power amulet is cheaper, and provides better defencive bonuses. For a cape, I'd bring God cape or legend's cape, although I recommend God cape. As for the boots, bring whatever you want, I suggest boots of lightness to help you run longer if attacked by a pker. For a helmet, wear whatever you want, though an archer helm has negative meleee attacks bonuses. Gloves optional. Ring of life recommended. ALWAYS HAVE ANTI-FIREBREATH SHIELD EQUIPPED! B. Protecting from magic- Bring the best melee bonus you can afford to lose if you die from the KBD/pkers. I'd suggest the following: Berserker/warrior helm, obby cape, Power/Glory amulet, rune platebody and legs, and boots of lightness. Gloves optional. Ring of life recommended ALWAYS HAVE ANTI-FIREBREATH SHIELD EQUIPPED! 2. Team of 5 and up- A. You won't need to worry about great armor bonuses, because the KBD basically does an imitation of my sister playing Dance Dance Revolution \ \ (spins around, without attacking too often) so initiate is recommended by me to boost your prayer for ultimate strength and clarity of thought. Bring glory, power, or Unholy Symbol of Zamorak amulets, as they all work well in this case. Cape is once again your choice: obsidian, legend's or God cape, and boots of lightness is once again chosen. Gloves optional. ring of life recommended. ALWAYS HAVE ANTI-FIREBREATH SHIELD EQUIPPED! Inventory- 1. Food- For the people who team with 3 or less people- Bring food that you can eat in one bite, monkfish and above is recommened here as you'll be taking more damage from the KBD then the teamer's of 5+. Bring around 20 slots of your choice of food. This can be increased or decreased based on how you see it fit. For the people who team with 5+ people- Bring food which you can eat in one bite, lobsters and above is recomended. Bring around 15 slots for food, since you won't be taking as much damage as the 3 and under teamer's. This can be increased or decreased based on how you see it fit. 2. Potions- 3 and under teamers- Bring 2 super attack(4) and 2 super strength(4), and 3 prayer pots(4) /super restore pots(4). This can be increased or decreased based on how you see it fit. 5 and up teamers- Bring the same stuff as the 3 and under teamers, except 1 more of each potion. 3. Teleports- For both sets of teamers, try and bring 1 click teleports such as ectophial(must complete Ghost's Ahoy), or teleports that take 2 spaces such as Ardougne teleport or Camelot teleport. Although the entrance to the KBD's lair IS in the wild, the actual lair is not, so teleportation is able to be used. Getting there- Unfortunately, as mentioned before, the 276's lair is in the treacherous wild, so getting may pose a problem to the smaller teams. The lair is in the low 40's part of the wild. Starting from Edgeville- Simple as just going straight north until you see the entrance to the lair. Starting from Varrock- Go north until you see a teleportation obelisk. keep activating and teleporting using this until you find yourself in 44 wild. Then basically just head slightly southeast(VERY SLIGHLTY!) and you'll see the entrance. Starting from Goblin Village- Be carefull, geading this way will lead you past extremelly popular pking spots, the green dragons in lvl 12 wild, and the dark knight's castle. Go north until you reach level 42 wild, then turn east, until you se the entrance to his lair. Starting at Mage Bank- EXTREME RISK OF BEING PKED! I wouldn't suggest this way, but it is your items... Exit the Mage Bank using the lever, and you'll be in a house with two cobwebs to slash through. Do so, then head east until you reach the northeast part of the Mage Arena. Then head southeast until you reach some hellhouunds. Run east past these, until you see a gate you can go through. Go through this, then follow it westerly until you are past the rune rocks. Head south and there you are. Teleporting to Ice Plateou using Lunar Magic-Idea By Chenw -Thanks- Get in a 3x3 square by the lunar mage. He will teleport you to Ice Plateou, west of the wilderness agility course. Run east along the fence until you come to a gate. Then get to the other side of the fence and run alongside it, this time, head towards the west. Pass the rune rocks and head south, and you'll see the entrance to his lair. Fighting the KBD- -Try and get a loose square around the center of the room where the KBD usually spawns. Why not a circle, you may ask? With a circle, the chances are hgiher that the KBD spawns on top of your fellow teammates which is not good. They flaunder around for a few moments, trying to be able to attack the dragon. -Use your potions wisely, as well as your food. -If people are already there, change worlds to make it fair for them. -If you're afraid of taking damage, have the person with the highest damage run to where the uncut sapphire is. Tha is where it's head normally is when it spawns, making that person take the damage for the frist attack. -Have fun :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Credits: -People I"ve gone KBDing with(I will not mention names) -Me -And, of course, the KBD  -chenw-Lunar magic teleport Hope you enjoyed this guide, tell me if I left anything out, please. I do not have pics at the moment, due to my screenshot machine not working. It might take me a while to add pcitures.
