Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
dangeresque replied to assassin_696's topic in Off-Topic
I would have to agree with you here, due to his crimes against humanity i think he did deserve the death penalty. Its just to bad that they didn't get him in the first gulf war -

dangeresque replied to Fadfdfd's topic in Off-Topic

China is communist yes, but they are starting to change, holding local elections and things like that. Also, their economy is booming right now, we are even holding the olympics there if they can build their complex in time. I think they will change...eventually. There are only 5 communist country's left in the world (China, Vietnam, Cuba, Laos, North Korea) so it can't last to much longer.

personally, I think that terrorism will never end, it will slow down yes....but end...nah. There will always be some bonehead out there. I would have to agree with viktor in that we need to get rid of dictators in the world. Especially in country's with state sponsored terrorism. Even though all of the americans (well most anyways) would wine and moan because we are trying to make the world a better place.... Here is a quote from my health teacher: "All it takes for evil to Prevail in theis world is for good people to do nothing....."
