I am american, and i do like to play soccer, but watching is a bit boring. I think maybe americans like more sports with action, like american football, which is the most popular sport in the U.S. Plus I think we like sports that we invented alot more aswell..... :

You must remember though that every profesional sport is a business not just a sport, thats why people get moved around alot. I really don't see anything wrong with it, it is just business. I really don't see how its a disgrace...
