Why in the world do people argue with everyone that isn't positive. People have their opinion, why in the hell does it need to be positive. If you feel no sympathy for the guy, so be it, don't act like you have to be positive just because he's dead. Runescape DID have something to do with all this, bottom line.

There's a difference between commiting suicide over a game and commiting suicide issues. You're talking like someone taking digital play money from him gives him reason to commit suicide, which is total bs. Yes, he had problems outside RS like having no friends, but don't you think that the cause is that he was playing too much RS? Like DOH if you don't get outside, or have any social contact with people, you won't get any friends, even an idiot knows that. I just think it's stupid to commit suicide over RS. It's his life, but I think it's a bit selfish to let a computer game ruin your and your families life. I mean, just think about it, he quit over some digital money. Besides that, if he just asked me, he could've gotten 14m. Besides that, you can just buy money on e-bay or from other people if losing 14m makes you want to quit life. This disgusts me really, you shouldn't let a computer game control your life. Maarten isn't (wasn't) the only person which life was destroyed by RS, I see it everywhere around me. All I can say is: Please think about what RS does to you after hearing this. R.I.P. Maarten, even though I don't support your decission, it's still YOUR decission.

I could write a whole story, but all I'm gonna say is: You know there are many curses with the words god or jesus in them (god damn etc. etc.). Now what would happen if the Christians were like the extremist Muslims and go crazy every time someone curses with the word god or jesus in it? Exactly, they don't, cause if we did we would have a World War x100, and the news would be filled with such "incidents", that's why I think it's all so blown up. I wanna meet the day that there are curses with any Muslim-religious terms in it. This just proves we are not that hotheaded like some of the Muslims. (Not commonising all Muslims ofcourse)

I usually ahve more lucky moments than lucky days. Usually it has something to do with skateboarding, if all the tricks in my run work out or something. Then again, I also get alot of the opposite. :cry:

I play Knight-Online, it's free, and about the same as the game you mentioned. You CAN pay for it, which lets you in servers right away, but I manage just fine. http://www.knightonlineworld.com if anyones interested. The only thing that bothers me is that about 75% of the people there are Turkish, and they always assume that everyone talks Turkish. It's nice tho, it has a good system for helping new players and co-operating with eachother. (Parties) I hope I didn't hijack this topic, it was just to give the people who disagreed with the trial thing.

I've went trough the McDrive with my bike, because the actual Mc was closed, and they even served me. Also I was with my nephew, we got trough Mc Drive, he had a McKroket (I don't think non-Dutch people know it), anyway its like 1 slice of meat between buns, so he ate the meat out, went back and said there wasn't any meat on it. If I remember correctly they gave him a new one, it sure made me laugh at the time.

Please stay on-topic, religious discussions won't lead anywhere, everyone has different opinions on religion, accept it. My opinion is that religion sure has lead (led?) to alot of bad things, for example poverty and war. OT: It's so hard to understand what happens, but the idea of something good makes me happy. So I was looking for a topic like this, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, my question was what do you think will happen if you die? I've thought of it so much, and I just can't figure it out. When I'm thinking yeah you'll float up, you can't because you're dead. Everything you do now, everything there is what you think there is, is gone, you can't think. It goes trough a loop which scares me. What do you think will happen when you die? I know it just scares me, not really curious to find out either. I hope it's good though. I usually sleep in the bus. My biological clock (or how the hell you call it) tells me to wake up precisely the minute where I can JUST be on time, and I like that. So usually, without an alarm I wake up, I haste a bit, hurry and I'll be there just in time. so I'll have a little break from my sleep, get in the bus, sleep again, and use my biological clock again to wake up just before I have to get out. It's scary, but true. <3 my clock.

I misunderstood the book part, apologees for that. I think media or at least someone else makes you think like that. I personally have no idea how you could get ideas like that on your own. Maybe movies, or something else. You're right it's not said, but I think it must have something to do with it, even if you're not good in the head, something else must get you to do this. Even if you have ideas like this, if you have a normal life, it doesn't make you pull the trigger that easily. Actually the Goths alot of people talk are the type of goths that like attention and are depressed or something, not the type of people interested in fairies and dragons and stuff (bad explained, but isn't that the true meaning of Goths?). As of the first option, alot of these people are depressed, so this might've been a cause of the murder (seeing no way out or something), but ofcourse it's a shot in the dark. But yes, I agree that it was a bad idea to link the murder to the fact that he was a Goth. I think we should need some more information to really further discuss this. I'm not that good at discussing, I'll try to explain what I said, might be wrong tho. Note that some things I wrote are how I think about it, not facts.

I'll try to make my point here, you can agree or disagree, but this is just how I think about it. I might have trouble prooving my point, but I try, I'm not English. Ofcourse the kid is a bit sick in the head, but obviously media influenced him to do such things. He probally just picks up things easy, and beleives in everything (or alot) he sees. The book obviously influenced him to do it, I don't think it would've happened if he didn't read or see or hear anything like that. It's just the fact that the media CAN influence people, and I personally think this was a part in this murder. You can also say people kill people, not music, but music usually influences people, makes them think about things they may never have thought about. That's why I think music is a part of the media which influence and make people. The way people think about Goths is either pre-judged because they are different, or because of experiences with other Goths around them. For example, I generally have a ba vision about Goths, because alot of people around me are the way I see Goths. I usually try not to pre-judge people though. I just hate the way alot of them are trying to seek attention or trying to fit in. That doesn't make me hate all Goths though. Ok that was my story. ~Sub

This is scary, I also began playing Pokemon 2 weeks ago, Firered. It's like an extended version of Red, and I still remember everything, it's scary. I'm bored with it again tho, and started RS again. Stupid rainy weather.

They should make them untradable rather then deleting them. Demand will still be there, cause people want to be unique, or good looking.

I got to level 18 a while ago, then quit. There's some things you only know when you are American or interested in a certain type of music. It just became stressing sometimes, so I quit. Was quite fun tho, especially the level with the music reversing and speeding.

What a way to spam threads also, so useless. Childish, even. OT: Good luck. Collecting herbs is fast money also, chaos druids drop good herbs. This means melee experience, herblore experience, money. A good way to level up and make money.

Yes. I know at first I was craving for full rune. And then after I got it I wanted 1M. Then a year later I had a phat set, and could buy about everything I wanted. Some people won't beleive it, but phats get boring pretty fast. It's more fun to live forward to something, rather then having it. Oh well, there's still much more to do, you just have to find your own "thing". For example find a skillt hat you really like, and level it to as high as possible while having fun with your friends. That's what I did at least. Or stake everything you have to someone 15 levels higher with way better stats, and then quit for a while if you lose. That's what I did, also. Now I'm feeling like playing again. But really, when you can afford 3 rune sets, there's soooooo much more to do.

Pfff its bad for duelling. Actually it's good, but boring/irritating. Tho I always put kites off, so I avoid veracs. It is the best on fully armour on tho.

I always played it as ROM, where you could speed the game up to like 2/3x. Then I got silver and the rom player wasnt capable of doing that, then I stopped. Couldn't stand playing it on a gameboy, as it was wayyyyyyy slower then I was used to. You guys also remember the hassle about getting mew in the red/blue version? someone told me it was near this cave somewhere, I was searching there for like 3 hours, never got one. Someone had it tho, I guess with a gameshark or something. Good old times... 8)

I'm happy with my nick as it is now. Maybe Subseven instead of Subse7en, cause alot of people called me "Subse" or somth ingame. Oh well, can't be perfect. ;)
