  1. Hugh won a golden globe last night :) and it wasn't on tonight.. I was upset
  2. My aunt got one and she's like 50 something My cousin(my aunt's daughter) has 2, a Celtic knot on her lower back and her father's initials(who died when she was very little) on her back right hip I've thought about getting one but can never decide what it should be(I want something that I'll like for at least 5+ years) and it'll be on my upper back
  3. Memento-Watched this for a second time and it was just as good as the first despite me already knowing the ending Garden State- Was on OK movie, kinda chick-flicky. It has a deeper meaning which made it better than most chick flicks though Reservoir Dogs-Great movie, the way it was put together and had an unexpected ending. Double Jeopardy-OK for a thriller, expected ending, it's like a lot of Tommy Lee Jones movies
  4. I had a feeling Fad was exaggerating again :P It was just inside the 49 yard range, tied his longest kick record :) Bears FTW
  5. I don't think they care too much about what school in a specific country you came from, as much as what country you came from. This is because counties have different grading scales because education is left up for the state to decide and isn't a federal branch. My view on education: Grades reflect effort(to an extent, I'm sure most will agree on this). Colleges want people who are going to try while there so they choose those who seem to have tried hardest(highest grades w/ extra curriculars). One teacher won't decimate your chance at getting into college if you try hard enough/it's the only class you did bad in. Everyone has bad teachers-I had the worst math teacher that I've ever had last year, I got a B+. The year before that I had the best math teacher I've ever had(although also the hardest). I got a C+. I had to teach myself in the former so I actually learned the material-I tried harder, I got a better grade.
  6. This Is Not A Real St. :)
  7. You know.. except that happened in 1930 and not <1700
  8. Dog Diving? Into water? IIRC dog diving is basically a dog longjump but into water. The dogs chase after a rubber duck thrown by it's owner =)
  9. base jumping with an airplane is skydiving :P (base is an acronym for building, antenna, span, earth-so basically jumping off of something that's attached to the ground which is why airplanes are excluded.) try a rollercoaster park, as long as you arn't afraid of heights :)
  10. 14. Pirates of the Caribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
  11. People should have a clear idea of what they're getting into before they agree to anything. It's common sense dude. You cannot die from anything. You can't suffer from any physical pain. I took your statement and followed it down it's path, you didn't list any exceptions ;)
  12. People should have a clear idea of what they're getting into before they agree to anything.
  13. Immune to anything is too broad. According to that statement a person could strap onto the back of a rocket and blast into space, no burns, no feeling of lightheadedness from thin air, no lack of pressure on the body to be felt. The person could weigh themselves down and sink to the bottom of the ocean without threat of pain. However, on the flipside of this the person wouldn't be able to feel if they got touched, they wouldn't be able to get a tan or smell the shampoo of a girl. There is an upside and a downside to everything.
  14. Now we have to define Immortaltity. Ive always known it to be that one can only die through being killed. Sickness does not affect you. Yes, but why wouldn't sickness affect you? That's a misconception. AFAIK there are no rules to immortality other than not dying, people seem to get the idea that you're a god once you've become immortal, but imortal != impenetreble or immaulalbe or anything along those lines.
  15. Immortality isn't immunity, it's just that you don't die. You could still get sick/lose a limb/become braindead and still be alive. No I wouldn't take it, even if it were impossible to anything to happen to me. I'd prefer to just die between 60-80
  16. The reformation and the spanish inquisition with the added affects of absolute monarches on the peasants would be best IMO.
  17. The Great Gatsby is an alright book, George Orwell is english.. so are a lot of good authors
  18. Try using the tunnel sites atunnel.com btunnel.com ctunnel.com etc etc-they're kinda slow but they work there are many proxy sites :)
  19. That's not true at all.. Have you seen the hours that kids under 16 are allowed to work? From what I remember(during the school year) Can't work more than 3 hours on a weekday, can't work past 8, can't work more than 15ish hours a week, can't work more than 8 hours on a saturday/sunday(not combined). Most retail places hire HSers so they can help close the store at 9-10pm while starting at 3:30-5:30(varies store to store, but from I've gathered, those are the normal times)
  20. There are also people who will pay good money for services as well

    Apocalypto

Except you know.. there are those of us that don't care that it's directed by Mel Gibson or that it's subbed but thought the movie was extremely boring with too much slo-mo
