  1. My guess is that the biggest disease that will hit in our lifetime or shortly after it will not only affect humans and some animals, but also plants
  2. I like how you can just see those truth commercials speaking in this this thread  I don't, I've gone out with people who have, my dad does, my brother has tried it(doesn't inhale properly, I'm not going to teach him how..), my mom use to, I also have friends who do it.
  3. Heh. A robbery homicide shocking an entire country. You seriously live where it is at, Oy. Probably 20 of those in S̮̣̉̉o Paulo alone everyday. 20? DC has like 800 a year and that's considered a lot(that's 2-3 a day) I'm listening to the Dedicated album by ATB
  4. I'm 5'11" which is the same for a ton of my friends
  5. Since I'm already into college, my current goal is to own a Wii before Jan1 The future isn't really my thing
  6. I got accepted to Christopher Newport University, but that's my back-up I won't hear from Virginia Tech, or James Madison University until Marth-April, and I still have one more thing to fill out for George Mason University(going to turn that in this week)
  7. Silverion is Italian and I remember tip.it/runescape became somewhat famour for it's detailed quest walkthroughts(and thus shunned by andrew and paul because it had them) Back in the day there was a list of fansite ranked gold, silver or bronze depending on how good they were and tip.it was gold and then because of the walkthroughs it got moved down to bronze
  8. There's nothing to be ashamed about with Land Before Time :) Nothing wrong with the first one, it is a decent kids movie. But there is something wrong if you watch 2-11. They absolutely suck, I don't think even kids like them. There are 11 of them now?! I remember when 5-6 came out(ish) after 3 I never really watched them. 1 is easily the best of all of them, and 2 is alright(I mean, it shows that they don't just live happily ever after once they reach that valley) Blood Diamond Same old, same old, just another movie on Africa. Sure it's "educating the masses" but the people to see the movie have probably seen Hotel Rwanda or Black Hawk Down. And then at the end.. they're like SH** NOW WE'LL TRY AND MAKE YOU FEEL BAD (insert made-up statistics here) Arrested Development Season 2 such a good show, I blame the government for cancelling it for all the shots taken at it
  9. Off-topic AS some Music and Movies GameFAQS smashboards Battles of Tenedia
  10. I use to play stepmania, I'd be average at best DDR I would play with friends sometimes, I can barely play standard
  11. HFS Nutcracker 2001 The Vines, Box Car Racer, James Brown, Cold Play(when Yellow/Clocks were their hits), Queens of the Stoneage.. maybe someone else edit: oh yeah, new found glory(how could I forget this one, I got a shirt with their name on it >_> )
  12. Basically, you play 5 games, whoever has the best record wins with some more complicated stuff in the match-ups =)
  13. It isn't that big of a deal. You stumped a teacher on a ridiculously easy question. Thymine CANT bond with Thymine. I am surprised your teacher did not know that. By the way, this does not make you smarter than the teacher. What's wrong with hypothetics? Since they can take an electron off of the noble gasses, they might be able to get thymine and thymine to bond together Okay: Prof: Naturally, Thymine and Thymine cannot bond together. They MAY be able to bond together in a lab. Why don't you do a two page essay on it and bring it in tomorrow so you can enlighten us on why Thymine does not bond with Thymine naturally and if there has been any research done on bonding Thymine and Thymine? Better answer? Way to miss the point. Yer, this is what I got off of your statement. You said: It might be possible for Thymine to bond with Thymine in a lab or something like that. My response: Yeah they can, but naturally, it does not happen. I believe this was previously explained. I just added stuff. Either you did not understand what I said for whatever reason that may be, or I did not get what I was supposed to from your post (not exactly my fault). Alright(this is going to come out bad since I'm not really sure how to explain it D=), usually -good- teachers don't act like your example. It could have been done in a lab, but the teach didn't know if it had been done, which is why he said I don't know. In your example the teacher was an [wagon] and decided that the kid was just being a smart [wagon](which isn't what he was trying to be and I think the teacher realized that)., and I don't know how to end this post >_>

  16. Ha, that's worth a laugh. A+ students vary so much it's not even funny. I know A+ students who go out and get hammered at least every other weekend and others who rarely go out and are the WoW maniancs that we've become acustomed to
  17. The problem is is that sometimes it actually is too complex for the students level and it would be useless to even explain it to them. Maybe too complex for the classes general level, but maybe not the student which asked the question. And then in the process you confuse the rest of the class thus straying from the topic and slowing down the class in general. The teacher should say that if you really want to know you can stay after class/school and I'll teach you about it

  19. The Departed wins Inside Man and Lucky Number Slevin come in tied for 2nd Borat can have 4th
  20. If by polio you mean Westnile and Anthrax, then it will to an extent
  21. With my moms family we nearly always play trivial pursuit when they come over by us or we go over by them. There's always those couple of players that are known as dead weight and will get 1 question the entire game =) I also play mah jong with my friends and monopoly sometimes with my family(usually me and my bro)
