  1. This could eventually evolve into a 1984-esque situation.
  2. I would rather have awesome Wii exclusives rather than crappy ports from developers who just want to milk the Wii. I'm pretty sure this is a PS3 exclusive, yes? If not, I will look into it.
  3. The phone tapping was necessary. I don't think that it is right, but it is necessary. I would rather have my phone tapped to prevent terrorism, than to allow terrorists to freely communicate in the U.S. at will.
  4. I believe McDonalds would survive with having to change the name of their Quarter and Double Quarter pounder sandwiches.
  5. I think he means something along the lines of teaching it, guess its true we need to keep the old system for labeling things for long enough for everyone to adapt. Yeah, I think that we should gradually change everything over. The first thing we need is to get the schools to begin using the metric system only. Then we can begin converting everything to the metric system, and maybe offering classes/tutorials for learning the metric system.
  6. I've been thinking about this for a while now. The United States and the United Kingdom are two of the most prominent countries in the world today. Both have a large influence on world wide events. But both the U.S. and the U.K. have seperated themselves from the world by using the imperial system (inches, pounds), instead of the metric system (meters, grams). Almost every other country in the world uses the metric system as their standard numerical system. My question to you is, should the U.S., U.K., and all other countries still using the imperial system switch over to the metric system? My opinion is that yes, we should switch over. The metric system is far easier that the imperial system, since it is based on units of 10, not 12, and would make us much more compatible with the rest of the world.

Today I found out that I got an award at the TSA state conference for Missouri. My partner and I were in Technology Problem Solving, and we got first place! We didn't solve the problem that was handed to us. We got a nice plaque to hang up at the school, and each of us got a gold medal. Plus I can now go and compete at the National Conference in Denver CO if my parents let me.
  8. Well I started to make a team, but it got held up because I havn't been able to acquire the pokemon I need. If you have an elekid (an elcterizer with it would really help), or a shroomish, I would be able to start training again. For my team, I'm not worrying about EV's, but I will try and get good natures and good movesets. I just don't want to spend a whole lot of time on a team.

I've got to stop procrastinating as well. I have well over 140 terms for AP United States History, along with 9 essay outlines due by 3rd block tomorrow for my test, atleast 3 Chemistry worksheets due as makeup work for being on a school field trip, a bunch of notes to take on Trigonometry, and to start to do some research for my Composition and Reading research paper. Ugh.
  11. I would keep my government a democracy, let the people choose for themselves. Next I would try to create a 4 day school week, to allow students an extra day for study, relaxation, or for a job.

  18. *Shoots KC at point blank range* Hah, you can't shoot me until you fulfill your requirements to the game. I lost the game.

But it's still freaking awesome. I know. I laughed when I realized what it was. Today was really boring for me. Procrastinated online as much as I could, then sat down and did some APUS homework. Oh, and I took the ACT this morning. Completely forgot about that. I plan on sleeping in tomorrow, and not worrying about any tests. But I gotta work, so not much better.

His avvy looks like a real life Cubone, which is a creature from the pokemon games.
  22. The thing is that they are launching rockets that could potentially hit other countries, and that would be really bad.
  23. Ugh, I just took the ACT this morning. I though I did fine on the language arts, math, and reading sections, but that science one was a pain. I kept getting all confused on all of the graphs.
  24. I am taking my first ACT test tomorrow morning. I should be heading to bed pretty soon, I have to be at my school by 8A.M.
