Woke up kinda early. Went to an indoor soccer tournament for my school team. We lost in the semi-finals, which is disappointing because we probably could have won... Was pretty fun overall though, and kind of hilarious when one guy on our team was just there to try and pick a fight with anyone possible.

You'll pretty much need 70 prayer to bless, 80+ defence and maybe like 85+ range to be accepted to random teams. You could probably get a few kills if you went with friends or a team willing to take you.

I've literally done hundreds of those... they take me 1-2 mins now, and I click them so fast that I'm clicking like 3 pieces ahead of what's actually moving :P

Woke up really tired... Went to school and spent first period spare putting together high jump poles. Spent 2nd period class doing nothing and talking with friends. After noon classes (calculus and physics :D ) same as usual. Track practice after school. Came home, had a snack, and watched the end of the Manchester United game. Went over to my friend's house to work on a physics project (we have to build a rollercoaster). Stayed there for dinner. Came home, watched a bit of playoff hockey ...and then came on the computer.

Hopping does NOTHING. It changes nothing. The ONLY factor in the probability of a rare drop is the chance of having it dropped from a specific monster... and that does not change depending on worlds, and you are just as likely to get a hilt the kill after you already got a hilt as if you've been on a dry streak for 10k kills.

If you define someone as a nerd if they like video games, and spend a lot of their spare time doing that... then sure most high levels, myself included, are nerds. However... TONS of people love playing video games to some degree, and the majority of high level people are no worse than some of the low levels. And as Zarfot showed us... intelligence and planning goes a long way. If you're good at calculating what you need to do, finding the best balance between money and speed, coming up with new training techniques, etc, you can be very succesful.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I spend almost no time at all doing homework currently. However, I still get very good grades. I think that this will be a problem for me next year though... since I will be in university taking engineering (a LOT more work).
