  1. I dropped mine: must be a few k by now. Jagex could make them useful. Make a trade option on the desciples near the ecto that you can buy slime-filled buckets of of. Saves some time and makes the ectos worth something.
  2. Speechless ........ heartbreaking story, I feel your pain. All the best of luck to you if you decide to keep fighting the ban on your daughter's account.
  3. i think they might make it fluctuate like proper exchanges, but the tokkul woul be worth less than 1 gp i think, to stop multi-millionaires buying out the shops Umm, if tokuls are worth less than gps, then why are fury ammys 5 mil gp but only 300k tokul? (that's the price for onyxs). And if you think making tokuls worth LESS than gp would stop multimillinaries from buying you the shops, you're dead wrong. That would make it all the easier. I personally believe that tokuls should exchange for like 5 gp each. That would make furies like 1.5M, which i think is fair for how useful it is... and for how crappy it looks :| Easiest way to obtain an onyx stone is by selling deaths at the rune store: those sell for 18 tokkuls per death. A stone requires 300k tokkuls: so 300k devided by 18 equals 16,667 deaths needed to sell to store. At a street price of 300 per death, those 16,667 deaths equal to 5 million cash exact. Hence why a fury ammy is priced at 5 mill gp, or a little more, considering the high lvl crafters like something for their trouble too. Following that line of reasoning then 5 million nets 300k toks. Or in other words a nice exchange ratio, based on price of deaths would be 0.06 tokkuls/gp.
  4. Friend of mine got reported by a p-mod for my friend saying : 'Im going to play world of warcraft' According to the p-mod that falls under category of advertising a website *rolls eyes* Since this was his third strike, hes now facing a permanent mute and a 3 day account ban. Got to love the p-mods nowadays. I hope his ban appeal will help and sure hope the Jagex-mods dealing with the appeal also see how rediculous some rule enforcement has become.
  5. funny, never even knew there was a right click option to empty the bin. I just always used an empty pot on the grinding machine to empty it :-s Great finding that out after crushing about 4k d-bones.
  6. Thats what im getting at basically. Poster makes it look like a one year old Jagex message. Some people posting after him are asking if its real or not. Poster could have avoided questions about the reality of this by putting up a date in the future, like 23/1/06 so there would be no mistake about it. Since he didnt do that, it led me to ask what his real idea with his forum post is : either a discussion on the removal of rares (which can be done easily without putting something in code like he did) or a way to manipulate the market by spreading rumors in an already sensitive market.
  7. The way you embedded your idea in your post like a Jagex announcement, making it seem official, makes me wonder what the real idea behind this post was: maybe influence the already sensitive 'rare market' by making it look like an official jagex announcement ? (nice touch by the way, to mention the date 23/1/05, too bad we're now living in 2006).
  8. Just a typical *Dutch* customs officer :P
