I have 1k RC xp till level so I will do that the night before I level. I wanted to keep one level handy just in case I accidentally leveled something. And yes I do have a long term plan on a 99, but its one of the more *cough* expensive skills *cough*. O:) Lets just say that it will put me up a few combat levels and be really handy at kq and kbd! :XD:

Egads, I live all the way over in Australia and even I know what a Pasty is!!! Actually, I'm not all that keen on them myself, but we make a Spinach and Ricotta Pasty here that is to die for!! Apologies for not updating this blog for the past week, Ive been on leave from TET, and also not in the forums as much as usual. I will have a lot of reading and catching up to do when I get back, as I haven't read many blogs, and I cant wait to see how everyone is going with their goals! \ I should be back to work with TET by Friday. I completely understand Toast, I just hate the way people flame in these forums when someone has an idea they voice. You raised a good point, and people have differing opinions, but there isn't any need to flame. With it also being Summer Holidays, that explains why the majority of servers are busy at this time of the year. Once everyone goes back to school it will improve too. Maybe Jagex should add more servers. :-k

Toast was only stating an opinion and asking for feedback on an idea. There was no need to flame him or others who posted here. It was hard to get into world 99 during the week of the riot, but things have now settled down. Even before the riot and update, World 99, as well as a hell of a lot of other worlds were overpopulated. It HAS settled down now, and after speaking to many of my friends, personally, I am staying on World 99. A lot of people I know agree with me, that we also have friends who are not Tipiters on 99, and do not wish to change homeworld's. :anxious:

I really enjoyed it, took me about 8 hours to read it. :thumbsup: I'm glad I gave myself a complete media ban for the past 3 days to avoid spoilers. :-w

I will be staying on 99. I have many friends on 99 who are not Tipiters since I have been using this world for quite a long time now and don't plan on changing. :

Wayyyy too many friends to post here! :-w The friends that stand out would be: Oreo9870 - My best friend in game, we hang out and talk all the time, he's been a great friend to me, and supported all my goals, and he will get 99 Fishing! NormanBiggs (AKA Gayle) - My rock! We talk a lot in game and in irc, though shes a combat neeb!!!! Raced her to 1800 Total, which we got together in the end. Laikrob - The Lovely!! I met her at my first TET Event, then after I did barrows for the first time. We have been friends ever since, doing new quests together and generally having a blast every time we catch up in game. It is her who dragged me into TET (Not sure whether to hate her or love her for that! :-w : Ahh of course I love her for it! ) Mirawrrrr - Is a special friend, and I miss our chats! :cry: QueenValerie - We went for our 99 Hunter together and we had some great times. She is a fantastic person, a brilliant skiller, and a good friend. Wolfhunter - Makes me laugh when he pretends to be muted. And kept me entertained when I was woodcutting often. Dusty!!! - Smells! And is a hawt Farmer! My TET Team mates!!! Everyone in the team rock!!! Zidane, Honest1 and Arcticrunite who were the leaders when I started with TET were great mentors and taught me a lot!! So many more that I can think of but will take forever to type up. Zaid, Sir Hartlar, Leedragon, Thing, Blink, Ranged Crave, Profins, Brammy, AJC, Jem, Nabby, Goaty, Celt, Neky, Misterxman, Azurechaos, Rocky, Wispy, Drummy, Leesters, Trojann!!! eeppppppppp thats enough Shey!!!! World 99 on the day of the PC update! :XD: [hide=Click here to see pictures] The Riot The Hijack Zezimas House Party [/hide] Plenty of Tipiters were there, but due to the mayhem I didn't talk to many. It was quite fun, watching everyone running around Zezimas house like ants in an antfarm looking for him, then realising he had teled out of there and left his house open. I got bored and went back to monk fishing, and there Zezima was firemaking happily away on his own!! ROFLSNORT! :XD:

I will be taking a bit of leave from TET this week, and wont be online much in game, have fun everyone!!! :D

A great read Saidin, and some good points you made there. I have to agree, that maybe that message could be put at the beginning of the fight rather than the beginning of the quest, so that people can do up to that point of the quest without the combat level. Being level 107 Combat when I did the quest, it was a very difficult fight even for me. I know of quite a few people that died a number of times who are lower levels, but to give those under Combat 85 a chance to try is debatable. To put a warning maybe? That would open doors to people saying "I want my stuff back I died, bad Jagex for not making a Combat Requirement." Either way is open to arguments.

I can understand the parents concerns, although it is rather neglectful of them to have let it get so bad before making a case out of it. My son is 13 and plays Runescape, and on occasion, such as school holidays, or on a rainy day on weekends, I let him play a lot. During school terms and on weekends, however, I limit his usage to about an hour or two a day. We have some massive fights over it when I tell him to turn it off. With him being autistic these fights turn into meltdowns, but I stay strong, and on occasion have had to carry him kicking and screaming away from the computer. One of the positive aspects of MMORPG's is that my son is learning social skills. You may think why? With him being mildly autistic, he can communicate with other players in the game without being constantly told to look at them. He has problems forming friendships, due to him not using eye contact when he talks to people. In game, people don't see that, and he is learning how to form deeper friendships. He does have friends in real life but it has taken a long time for him to form those friendships. Playing Runescape has helped his social skills in real life. Did anyone ask about the school? Why have they let the child miss that much schooling without taking action? Maybe the school should have taken action long before this, the parent would then have had some support.
