hmm about the wall of text, i just kept on typing whatever popped into my head, so sorry for the disorganised mess :P i do think it's a matter of opinion, but as for me, i always liked to compete with friends, and i've always been a skiller. But ever since godwars it became so much easier to obtain large amounts of money and so much easier to level the buyable skills. i guess i miss the parts master_smither was talking about, just walk around and talk to people without getting some lame/ignoring answer... i am a person that likes to look back to things thinking it used to be better and though i'm not a pessimist, that does give a negative shadow on how it is today or the stuff still coming. And do i know runescape? I know how it was when i just started, I know how i used to feel like playing runescape. I haven't played it since the beginning, but i dare to say i've been playing it longer than a large part of nowadays players. i just wanted to know if i'm the only one feeling the game is going in the wrong direction (don't all games do so?). To please everyone is to dissapoint a few. I'm not saying i'll never play runescape again, i might try pking when i get back into it, but until then i hope they'll change a few things so runescape regains that balance it once had ^^

i've been playing runescape for over 3 years (i got members just after the release of farming) and i've had a break for a few months now. I've though about coming back, but everytime i think about doing so something stops me. Over the years runescape got more updates and i found myself asking myself, is this the game i enjoyed playing so much all these years? cus with every update more/easier ways to gain experience/wealth find their way into the game. I enjoyed the way i had to train my skills, but with the release of things like Stealing Creation i just don't enjoy skilling as much as i used to (as Zezima said: I have stopped playing RuneScape competitively because it's getting progressively easier over time. With it getting easier to train skills and gain exp, I've lost a sense of accomplishment in what I've worked hard to achieve since I started in 2001. If things will continue to get easier, it ruins the game for those of us who have been here since the beginning). I was wondering if anyone else (guess this is probably for the people that play runescape since a few months before the HD update or before that) feels the same way? And how/why do you keep on playing if so?

grats, 99 hp is very nice :D seems a bit unnecessary spending all those zeal on hp since hp levels with the rest of your combat stats, but as long as you enjoyed getting it^^

hmmalmost ;) Bandos godsword Warstrike Attack does 10% more damage and drains your opponent's combat statistics by the amount of damage inflicted. Statistics are drained in the following order: Defence, Strength, Prayer, Attack, Magic, Ranged. so not 325 defence but still very nice :thumbsup:

hmmthank you all : i almost got 80 summoning banked, just got to rc a bit for shards and 2nds :D not sure what i'll get after though. thinking about getting either 99 range via slayer or getting a few more (all?) 85 skills and (all?) buyables 90+ (or any other doable suggestions?) :P

FINALLY hit 2100 total my first rate this post :P bout me: i started playing like 3 years ago, got members after 1 year at cb 68. my first 99 was prayer which i got in february of 2008, trimmed it in december with farming :D oh and i'm in Skillers United (best clan out there ) took me a while, but i finally got it ^^ now only 1 summoning level till i got all skill 80 or higher again :D wate pwease :

start with doing d slayer since att and str lvls won't get you any cb levels with 79 range (you might want to check that to be certain. imo hp are very important for a pure, even though it gets you several cb levels but im sure ppl will disagree with me :P im leveling my tank so i keep a difference of 10 levels between ranged and def, so you should get like 70 so you can use barrows too. as i've always been a fan of slayer, you might want to try that for defence and pvp between assignments? pays for gear too if you get koed several times :P gl anyways ;)

yea and i like tanking > p2p specing with d weps i think :P so i guess it'll be my tank i'll have to get 61 range for c bow though, and i gotta check which quests i should do... and should i get my prayer to 25-45 at my cb (he is cb 55 atm)?
