It's hard :P. I'm bad enough try to draw with a computer mouse as it is, but then tracing over your old drawing for each page of the flipbook and then the factor of it getting tedious.

They're alright. I like the backgrounds, but it looks like everything everyone else is making. A copyrighted image on an abstract background.

Now you recognize that's also called a render? :wink: Of course a 3D draw uncomplete is also one I just said I wouldn't complain anymore :P. Words change in meaning, it happens all the time in our language.

Zibl, it's hard to argue when sites like this exist. People have proved me wrong in the past with the term render so dont' worry about it. Generally, an image without a background isn't called a render. I also don't like that site since it's promoting the use of copyrighted images so it probably isn't a good site to try and prove your point with ;).

You can create your own flipbook online :). It does take time and gets tedious. I got bored pretty fast so don't do anything complicated. Mine: Me for the win! I pretty much agree with Bubsa here. I don't think Bush was at fault for this, just something that happend.

Don't bother. I tried this argument on here before and apparentally someone's spreading some false information that a render is an image without a background. I got jumped by noobs. Zibl, channels are always a good way to get rid of the background. I'm pretty sure tttia made a tutorial or something for us here.

Okay, I'm not going to complain about the use of the word render, but is there a need to post a picture where all you did is delete the background? That takes like 2 seconds.

sorry to post again, but you posted when I did so I missed this. I agree that that for anyone on the outside this wouldn't seem like a big deal. They got rid of the sig selling so we should be happy. You really would need a sub forum though because even if we get some real work in here there will still be people who have to ask stupid questions or get their sigs rated. They need a place for that. I'm all up for competitions and real art posts, but we'd have to start filtering to accomplish anything.

It's deja vu though. Your rules sound great, but we have enough trouble with people posting in wrong sections as it is I doubt it can be properly implemented. As for the trying a new board, we did that once and I just can't find a new home. dA is too big and somethingleet is mainly really experienced artists. I just feel out of place there. We need a small enough board to where we can fit in, but it needs some activity already. So many of us are inactive that starting a new one probably wouldn't work and all of the people we left would just follow.

It's kind of a waste of a good program, but you can use 3dsmax to make abstracts.

You say you pay for the site. however, look at this, the site is gamewallpapers.com Not gamestocks.com! It is not intended for people to create images out of, but simply to use their stuff as a wallpaper. We have every right to flame you on this. Most of your images are nothing but a bunch of abstracts and brushes mixed together with no thought at all to what your doing with it, and than half of it is covered with a stolen image. You can keep saying you paid for it, but because you paid for it (if you are even) doesn't mean its right to use. lets use an example: You buy half life. It has a toolkit for you to make a mod out of. You decide to make a big mod out of it, and then try to sell. Nope, illegal. Even if you paid for it, you can't turn around, use it to make something (even if some of it is yours) and sell it without their concent. Same thing if you bought a print from deviantart. Because you did "pay" for it, you should be able to use it for your self in images, right? Wrong. You are paying for the image alone, not for the right to use it. I agree with Zon and Jeppoz. CF, if you feel like your the only one getting flamed than you are horibly mistaken. Isn't the RS economy more to blame for this? In one week rares are gaining millions? I think the main problem is the game this site is based on. I don't even go to the media market if I can help it since I don't like RS, it just doesn't help that these sigs are then used throughout the rest of the forum and you find out people paid for them.

Merc, it seems that you still don't understand. "All the other forums in the world" don't have a way for you to profit off of the sigs. Besides, how is it any different from me going onto DeviantArt stealing someone's 3d model they spent hours making and just sticking it in my sig. Everyone would scream rip and I'd probably apologize and then get banned. The work belongs to someone else and I see it fine if they use it personally or give the sigs away for free. It might just be "RS money", but you coudl turn around and sell this money for RL money. Make about 20 mil off sigs and then make like 200 bucks on ebay.

Looks good but I don't really like the gradient like shading in some areas.

Looks great dude. My only critique is that the reflection seems to overpower everything else. I find my eyes more drawn to the reflection of the sunset in the water then the sunset itself.

I thought Tibia came out before RS anyways...I remembered stumbling upon it a couple years ago and not liking it. Besides, RS has ripped everything imaginable.

Yeah, but none of the mods seem to want to do this. I know I have and so have many others suggested that we have competitions and such, but they used to just get buried by all the market posts. I still think it would be rather difficult unless you could have a mod control it so we could make it a stick and it could always be on the front page to see. A lot of the custom title contests seem to be RS related, maybe we could let them give a custom title to the winner of the contest? I swear there was a huge discussion about stuff we could do for the media board with mods involved and I'm greatful of the splitting of the board, but that's all that happend.

Why are you calling him officer tip.it? And did you just watch documentary on tv or are you still in school and saw something? Kind of odd topic to bring up and most people know this stuff. I think there were multiple shooters. It's pretty clear in the video.
