Any new action been taken? And I still see tons of sigs being bought and sold in media market that have copyrighted images..I really wish there was something we could do. It's very frustrating. I mean what if someone for some odd reason is good enough hear to make models or paint characters themselves and put them into sigs. These should sell for millions, but they woudlnt' because everyone else could just rip a character and it'd be the same.

Wow this just showed me how much I don't remember...which book? I'm startin to remember something about Giants..I think it was the same book with that reporter..book 4?

If this is done I say no sigs. This would really help people focus on creating art that isn't sig based since that's all we get here. A lot of people will disagree with me, but whatever.

Ahh yeah I got rid of that. I might try that again :twisted:. It's just a real problem with the loading times. Sometimes it was perfect and sometimes it wasn't even close. I"ll probably put that back in for now and do a new one. I was so original and awesome with that :D Edit: I remember I did it around the blood and gore rule and they suspended my signature for a week for it cause it was too something...I don't know that didn't make me happy.

:P well, judging by the fact that another person said they read the 5th one like 4 hours I'm apparentally going to lose anyway. I can't read that fast and still enjoy it. I was thinking I'd get it done the first day. Movies, yes they ruined Harry Potter. Unlike many though, I think the 3rd movie was the best. Why? Because their movies not recreations of the books. You can never get all the details into a movie. The first two tried that and were alright, but weren't actually good movies. Malfoy was nonexistant in the first two. Finally, in the third movie they played out Malfoy's character and added a darker tone that should have been there. I could have never read the books and still liked that movie. I also hope the new book isn't like the 5th one. I know it was meant to show the change in Harry, but god Harry Potter became "emo." No one wants that.

We've been over this Merc. People are trying to sell them and it's illegal. It is no different then if I went to deviantart and stole a wallpaper and put my name on it. I would get flamed for that. These people should be too.

Looking good :). You have your own little style going so that's good. My only problem is the highlights on the armor make it looks plasticy. I'll do a better post tomorrow.

Our problem is that the "renders" being used have copyrights. So they are being used illegaly. Sorry to burst your bubble Futurama. Kingofduke, you can keep doing what you want don't worry about what we say. Just look at this as a way to improve and make good abstracts without images of people. And you don't have to do pixels to get respect, that can sometimes do the opposite. Just do what you like.

:? What makes you say this... Its probably the easiest to master for simple abstracts, and more complex abstracts can look as fantastic as 3ds max models if you know how to use the program. I'd prefer the program to be used for modelling. I'm just kind of sick of abstracts.

They look good for first sigs, but try not to use copyrighted images as the focus of the sig. Be creative and make a way for them to look good without someone else's work.

I mean looks fine, but that's really only because of the video. So I guess you can give credit to the people who made the FF video :).

Crap I don't feel like searching the name of the song, but one of the first ones I heard was "I wonder what it's like to be the rainmaker, I wonder it's like to know that I made the rain. I'd store it in boxes with little yellow tags on everyone." Or something like that.
