Things like that is usually at the bottom of theier things to care about tho. And I'm certain if they did think about it - it'd probably make them feel worse.
  2. One of my articles has been removed before. Wasn't happy with that. The arenascape one has been ditched before as well. Their notability rules are complete [cabbage]. And you only need a few bias'd asshats to vote for a delete to get it removed (like the retartd who keeps nominating the ARENAscape article for delition when it comes up - damn runescape addictioned tosser )
  3. probably because Invision is [cabbage] - that and it'd take way too much time to switch.
  4. people could just do that in the normal market boards? Nothing stopping them from paying more.

First bond movie you've seen? Go and see it again, might work out what it's about and why it was there.
  6. 1st Tutorial of excluding files with GREP. 2nd Someone's x-fire profile. 3rd My tip.it profile.
  7. I got faith in FM, but even then that's you and her. I honestly don't put much faith in anyone else otherwise this topic wouldn't exist. On the side note, this situation never should've happened in the first place :-?

Yea, supose so. If she asks you to leave / stay whatever, just agree with it. Even if it's against your better judgement - respect it.

I'm not good with consoling people. Although for the most part, just turning up and being there helps.
  11. for OT (and General in particular), like now? Preferably not some random tool from a completely different category like the bulk of the staff, but someone (or someones) who actually have a grasp and concept of how this portion of the forums works? With insane recently gone OT has like one person left who actually does anything in there. Comcon, it's screwed up, I've said for a long time that General never gets any attention and this situation actually supports my previous statements.
  12. Usually if there's a sample exam I'll take that and study what ever I botched up.
  13. Due to family tradition... about 5 or 6 pm christmas eve :)

I'd say there would be a lot less people to begin with. Considering that war is the most effective way for dominant ancient civilisations to collect supplies and impose their ideologies in such a way as to ensure a more efficient allocation of resources. Wars are also excellent catalysts for technological development. War is also a decent population control, or was. Thousands would die in them and bam, the victory has even more space per person than they were expecting. IT worked perfectly. Now it's just, send in 20K, wipe out the opposition, lose under 1k and you're done. Just isn't working as well as it used to. And I mean that. Or the governments of the world could just start executing all criminals :ohnoes:
  17. Who said anything about eating like a douche till you are a fat slob? :uhh:

Regardless of the legal age - people under it will always find a way to get it (same deal with cigarettes, there are kids in GRADE 8 AND BELOW) who get cigarettes and alcohol. And they're easily 5-6 years under the legal limit (18 in AU). However, putting it around 16/18 will curb the "rebelion" issue where people only drink / buy it. because it's illegal. The only problem I could see with it being lowered here in Australia is in regards to SChoolies. It gets bad when we get southern grad students coming up and congregating in the same place because they can all legally drink. And thousands of legals in the same place for a week drinking, not a good thing.

I'll also throw in a line here and say that I know some brilliant people who are essentially border-line failing some subjects at university. Also, I'm not a fan of closed-book exams. They reward memory and not application of what a person knows. I've met people who could give you text-book definitions of almost any IT related term, but have bugger all ability to apply anything they know in real-world situations and were incapable of explaining any of it to you at all. IT was just memorized and they had no further understanding of it. The ONLY subject I have ever done that is outside that norm was an Information SYstems course, where there was one essay (30%) and an open-book exam, where you had 3 hours to get about 5 hours of application of knowledge. Happily enough, the text-book-definition kids usually struggled because they lacked the understanding to effectively apply what they had memorized :P

I was waiting for my train to uni, and a guy got off the train and about $400 in 50's fell out of his wallet. And in all honesty, if no one else was there - I would've kept some if not all of it. I'm generally honest, but in cases relating to money, I'm iffy. He didn't exactly look straight to begin with (where I catch the train there's a lot of dealers and shifty people anyways).

Depression-->Suicide x does not =z y=z x-->y Hmmm... What darkmage said is that depression does not always result in suicide. What your logic said is that all depression results in suicide - which is BS.
  22. I pretty much agree with Zonorhc and Nadril. What's more - is that racism happens all the time. Ironically, nothing major tends to happen about it, until someone famous / well-known makes a slip and then people are all "omg racist - damnation to hell" and all this other rubbish :uhh:
  23. What the hell? http://www.dairyfarmers.com.au/internet ... ts/oak.jsp :uhh: Edit: Oh, and since the DF website has a fubar'd browser ident thing happening and for those who cbf clicking the link... Oak = flavoured milk.
  24. I'd trade a ps3 for a lifetime supply of Oak
