@BTTF: Most of the haters are towards those who do not use their SUV for hauling anything other than people. Blue-collar employment have every justification for an SUV, for reasons you stated. But having on just to take the kids to and from school. Or to take the groceries home from the store, owners like that need to DIAF or sell - no GIVE - their SUV to someone who will use it for what it's designed for.

Better mention now that this is generally BF2. I don't play much else anymore. 1) How many hours do you play a day? Somehow I was managing to get about 6hrs a day in during the semester. Over 12 during holidays. 2) Are you addicted to games? No. I just enjoy gaming over other tasks I could be doing (like working on projects I started 6 months ago, etc). 3) Do you have after school activities? Not really.

Should've gotten a minivan. More ecconomical.

Yea, that's a nice lose-lose situation. Essentially, call the cops - they're your backup. Turn up in defence. Do nothing untill a punch is thrown. You have a repuation as a good fighter, that's a negative for you. Chances are they'll target you and your friend, unless there is a known better fighter on your side. Play defensive, fight back but NEVER attack anyone who didn't already attack you first. If the police turn up - at least you can argue self-defence; especially if there are whitnesses. If someone is on the ground, leave them there. And what ever you do - NEVER EVER let your emotions get in your way. Keep a level head and stay calm, you'll be fine. Or your friend could simply not turn up.

True, I dunno. Haven't tried that out myself. Edit: Just went and tried, it seems that announcements do not count in the 'topics per page' count. Not sure about stickies either. I'd doubt it. So essentially you could have 1 topic per page, and still have 100 announcements, and you'd still be on page one.

Then I'd be wondering what the hell you were doing with that amount of junk. It'd overflow to another page, but the point is they start on the first page :P

There's a lot of street performers in the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane. Out of the few hundred I've met, about 10 of them are actually homeless. What strikes me, is that the people who have gone out and gotten a permit (homeless or otherwise) to be able to perform in the mall are some of the most plesant people you'd ever meet. But the ones which just drift around or sit there doing nothing and the ones I like to avoid.

Almost correct ;) There's three types of topics (in order of how they appear): Announcement Sticky Normal Announcements are the topics you'd most likely use for rules and such forum-wide notices which are constantly important. Stickies are generally forum-specific and temporary. All topics "move up and down" depending on the last post date, however - stickies and announcements never leave the first page and are always displayed in the above order, announcements first, then stickies, then the rest of the posts. Who can make them depends greatly on the permissions set for the forum. While it is typically mods or higher, it could be setup so anyone can post a sticky (highly unlikely - but still possible) or no one but admins.

I'm going to have to agree with this. I have been pretty much medicore in almost every aspect of schooling other than IT and Engish (related). I can honestly say that how I achieved in school is nothing compared to how it effects me outside of school. Amusingly, it's what I have done away from my education that has benifited me the most.

take into consideration that 7.0 is the highest possible in regard sto my results... I'm on a 3.82 cumulative gpa thanks to a screw up in first semester of my first year. Never really recovered from that despite only failing one course since.

the only psu i say anyone should get is the antec phantom. costly, but very well worth it. Probably take up the 125, but meah. vid card, dunno. my 9800 pro runs pretty much everything fine, but i'm also looking to upgrade. anything within 1 /2 years old with 128 - 256mb will do it fine.
