  1. Chances are they are transaction fees and or something to do with online services. Most likely just verifying you're the owner of the account and whatnot I guess. Ask your bank if you're not sure. Or better yet, ask eBay to verify what it is.
  2. This is essentially why I don't make topics. I like to put in some effort, but when no one really gives a damn, what's the point? Sorry Daan, but ford_rule pretty much nailed it. There's people around that do it as a matter of normality but the majority simply don't care.
  3. Try then all, use whatever you like the best.

Not suprising since there are no dual-core AMD chips on the market yet :uhh: But even still, the results aren't that great. AMD could bring out another single-core chip of 4ghz that'd most likley perform to the same level as the "awesome" Core 2 Duo from Intel.
  5. Chronological ordering ftw... and the year is more important than the day of month anways. Makes sense to me.
  6. How long can it take to recognise it as an iPod, about half a minute... wtf 4 hours after landing :uhh:
  7. Am I the only person who writes dates yy/mm/dd when available? The only time I don't is when the form says otherwise :-k
  8. For that kind of meal, maybe 20 minutes if I'm watching TV. Probably 10 without.

Have to watch it with video cards. Some models are highly tempremental depending on when they were manufactured. And a lot of games tend to throw a spaz if your card isn't in it's supported range, even if it's a newer model, etc. In regards to PCI, try and aim for 4 slots. I have 5 and am using 4 of them. It'd be 5 if my VGA cooler didn't stop me using the last one.
  10. You can get better for less. You're paying more for the name than anything else when you buy AlienWare. But if you've got the money to throw around and that's what you want, feel free.

Yes we are. But if your "dream-machine" consists of the latest everything, then give me the money. I'll make your system, and keep the change (which will probably be close to 1/3). That way you're getting screwed anyway, but you still have your dream machine. Rather than getting screwed and NOT having your dream machine.
  12. Considering most Metric conversions are either multiply by 10 or divide by 10, I think even you can do that :P
  13. So you seriously believe, without any doubt what so ever, that the earth is only 6,000 years old despite there being physically proof that there are human races that are 20, 30 and even 40 thousand years old?
  14. That's assuming that all of one species live in the exact same region and do not go any where. If you were an animal, and a more dominant family group muscled into your territory, would you stick around and let them kill you, or would you bail and find somewhere else to live? Generally speaking, you'll go else where - since that's instinct to survive. This I tend to agree with. Although one has to wonder why a lot of species have bones and organs that have zero use what so ever. And I still consider anphibians to be natures example "instant evolution". Ironiclly it is more than likely that the eye formed exactly like that. I believe Matt linked to an in-depth article about it a long time ago (starting with photosensative cells). And then up to being able to recognise movement etc. I dunno. I tried looking for it but I can't be arsed, that and you seem to have to basic gist of it anyway (you've probably seen it enough times). That's probably because it's a theory, with plausable fact only to back it up. It's possible, but until there is something more solid, it'd be career suicide to claim it to be what happened. That just doesn't make sense. How would 200 random mutations that are not beneficial (as everyone claims is necessary for evolution to occur) stick around long enough to all of a sudden work together? That sounds about as ridiculous as a magical being floating above earth who created everything in six days (and rested on the seven). Did Behe physically deconstruct the flagellem to see if that was true? Perhaps the lack of one might break it, but what's to say that taking away another might counter that break? I haven't read anything on it, but if you point me to the text for the above issue I'll get back to you wtih a better reply. Also sickens me when people try to stuff, IMO, mis-information down my throat. While I know most people aren't, there are enough to ruin the impression for everyone else. Essentially, all sides have their inconsiderate bastards who are too "hard-line" to keep an open mind. I think man created religion to explain what they don't understand - that's all well and good since I really don't care when it comes down to it. I've probably spent more time thinking on what to eat than whether science or a religion is correct.

Straight up, the best kinds of motherboards are the type that have the functionality that you require. Take me for instant, I'm using a Gigabyte K8-NSNXP-939. Sure there are other boards out there (I believe the K8-NSULTRA is almost identical) that are better than it, but how good something comes down to how well it does what you need it to do. And right now it does exactly what it needs to do. Consider what you want to be able to do, stock. And in the future. If you think you might be needing 5 or even 6 hard drives... make sure the motherboard has the capabilities of supporting that many. Same goes for anything else. And don't play down a moderate board if it does what you'll need it to do just because it isn't top of the line. Especially if there's nothing over it that can do the same thing.
  16. It won't stop people "spamming" about spelling and grammer if those who don't give a toss about spelling and grammer to begin with don't use it. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=460807
  17. Matt did a paint-smash of a theme a while ago, but never picked it up after that as well. I had one going for Arenascape but that relied heavily on Arenascape getting it's own forum (perhaps possible now with the structure of the barracks and such).
  18. Get Smart was great. And I can't seem to find the first few seasons of MacGyver
  19. probably be with website updates since the web chat is... technically part of the site.
  20. I don't think you read that right....
  21. Smacked in the face by her chav bf :uhh:

. I like my water plain. And my flavoured drinks with a strong kick. Any "flavoured water" is so dilute it's almost disgusting to drink.
  23. I could. But it'd mean dusting off my old dot-matrix printer
  24. Name the crime and it's most likely happened at least once.
  25. The biggest bump was just under 3 months :uhh: I wouldn't have had a problem with it if people got right into it again, but it has died off a bit, not many new quotes to add. It's mostly been people hating on kidurdude for bumping without any content.
