My mum was very pushy about what she wanted me to do. Good thing was that she never suceeded in that aspect. And it wasn't so much the "career" aspect that she wanted me to achieve, it was the "follow in the footsteps of your sister" thing. Kinda sucks being the younger bother to a person who was naturally smart, and who chose study of social life to get their results.

This semesters results got realeased :D I ended up with a 5.25 GPA for the term, and a 3.8 cumulative gpa :D So if I get close to the same results again, I'll have a 4.1 GPA when I graduate :) 4 7's is a little outside my grasp :(

It wouldn't suprise me for Intel to stack the tests in their favour if they're supervising it all. I'm with runesmithie on this one, untill an unbias source releases tests results, I'm taking all results with a lot of salt. Edit: I'm also willing to bet that Intel didn't disable Hyperthreading.

Hotmail account was getting about 40 a day. And it is still only a 2MB inbox :ugh: Gmail account gets like 20 a week or so. I don't use it much, so meah. my personal email gets maybe 5 a week. I domain block any spam that I get on that (yay for unlimited block list) so it cuts it down quite a lot.

No. Random reboots and be almost anything. Over heating is going to shut it down completely. The default bios settings are generally configured to shut it down when it reaches x temperature. Rebooting does nothing to rectify the problem since it would've had no time to cool down. Your theory = flawed.
