Sounds like you owned yourself, rather than the cop getting owned.
  2. IMO the only decent thing Dell can make are laptops. And I mean decent, not good, supurb or the like. Average. I wouldn't touch a Dell desktop pc if I could avoid it - but I can't (my uni has them) and yes, they do ghost them. All 1000 or so of them.

The thing is that violence affects them alot more at an early age - trying to desensitize them will not only desensitize them to violence on a screen, it will also desensitize them to violence inflicted on others in real life, and that's not a good thing. That all depends on how I go about doing that ;)

In regards to tests - the only test that REALLY tests your knowledge is open book. Fight if you will, but rather than test your MEMORY (which most do) they determine how well you can apply what you already know and have available to you - which is basically what you're going to have to do out there in the real world.
  6. Yeah, those things kind of sneak up on you don't they Carlo ;) And for all purposes, I agree with skelm.

Desensatize your kids early. At least that's my plan.
  9. Zippi a stalker, lmao. Ah that's the funniest thing I've read for a long time.
  10. I'd go for the dual-core and 2GB of ram. Mainly for the sake that this will really be putting a strain on the system and it would probably be a good idea to get it now given how much some games really chew (battlefield 2 and half-life 2 for example) are really heavy on the system. Giving the system that extra bit of room with make things run a bit more smoothly. And with the case, I'd advise at least 4 5.25" bays on the front and generally front usb. Things like WiFi and headphone / mic jacks are also a nice benifit to have. And make sure you have GOOD airflow. Since it is a gaming machine I'd go for one with either dual 80mm intake / outtake or 120mm intake-outtake fans. With room for extras at least. Either that or you could opt for watercooling which is somewhere around USD$300 for a halfdecent one that'll keep Millitaris's first list well cooled. Sounds is to your liking. I've found 2.1 systems to be good enough. Unless you have the room for a 5.1 system (or above) I'd personally get a 2.1 of good quality. Not much else to add after that.

Well, you can pass Uni from just going to the lecturers and doing the work in tutorials / labs / etc. However any kind of "homework" is generally there for those who want more than just a pass.
  12. Also, for people who don't know where the HOSTS file is located: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc It might be C:\WINNT for those running on 2000 and NT (I haven't used NT) but every other OS should be ok with that path. Open up your HOSTS file (there is no extension so it's just 'hosts') in notepad and paste the list of uri and ip's into the file, save and close. And you're done.
  13. I installed that patch (i believe GRC recommends it) earlier today just in case. Now to add those sites to my hosts file :)
  14. Oh, I would be so in for that!
  15. It is easy to use. It's just that it doesn't do everything for you.
  16. QFT - I think the only thing that could beat it, is a topic about the N64 version ;)
  17. Not much has changed :P
  18. Still powering away I see ;) Get it published :P
  19. Looks like you didn't get it all in?
  20. I'd say that would be when you said the following If you hadn't put "if you cant laugh at yourself your not mentally healthy" at the end of it all it wouldn't've come off as you were imply that alcohol is required to be able to laugh at yourself. If that bit wasn't suposed to be related to the rest of it then you really should've made it a new paragraph.
  21. Considering that in 6hrs mine will be over - not much. Might just sit around playing Smash Brothers or BF2 :-?
  22. Nope. Not really. http://www.diplo.co.uk/design/operatools.php That should do you for most things you'll need though.
  23. You mean having a one night stand with? TBH I haven't been drunk - I've never really seen the point. Sure I'll sit down and have 10 or so drinks in a night (and by night I mean over 12 hrs or so) but I don't get trashed.

It is (I already posted this keyboard on page 1). The design is speficially so that there is minimal movement between various keys. You look at the keys around it and you got almost every major key used in FPS within reach of any finger rather than having to move your hand across a standard keyboard OFF the WASD position to get to them (or off the mouse). I dunno but I get the feeling that Mr_Putter doesn't play many FPS :-?
