My friends, some advice for the future
Sometimes you can get that result - or worse - without them drinking too much. Isn't that right Mel :(

top darwin awards...and the winner is...
Yes it is, which is why that never should've been in with them. It was stupid, yes. But since he didn't die.. not stupid enough.

Wikipedia?
Funny you should mention it. I used my own work from a previous assignment (which was web-based) and got pulled up for plagerism, then when they finally listened to me that it was my work i'd plagarised they tried to fail me on a technicality that it was still plagarism as it was a previous assessment item or whatever. Idiot teaching staff sometimes.

Creating a website in Dreamweaver using MySQL and PHP
yep - but to be more general, it allows true dynamic content, not just dynamic html which is where Javascript and other 'client-side' scripting languages end.... gather data from a database is just one of the many possibilities :)

Why can't America view gaming like Korea.
When most people here talk about 'leadership' and 'organization' they refer to being able to manage and organize a team of people to achieve a common goal. Not something you find in a single-player game but more towards your team/party based games.

Wikipedia?
That's what I do and no one complains. If you cite Wikipedia and not the sources at the bottom, you're not as computer savy as you think :uhh:

Movies you cried through... {see 1st post}
Haven't cried at how bad anything is... but I have to admit that the Home Alone movies after #2 were horrid, so was the third TMNT movie. *shudders*

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I got into a bit of a dispute with my sister about that. And I have to agree with you, confusing as hell - especially if you didn't follow the escape from the malfoy manner in great detail with all the wand stealing or whatever.

China limits teenage gaming to 3 hours a day
Someone has already found a way around that User ID requirement :ohnoes: Or they will soon.

Anyone quit smoking?
While a good idea, I am more inclined to go with Ragen's suggestion of both quitting at the same time, rather than just asking her not to smoke around him.

The daily MSN chat
I'll be honest.. Invite me into one of them again and everyone in said chat at the time is being blocked, and if you happen to be on my list - deleted. Only warning.

Why can't America view gaming like Korea.
Don't get me into a desire to list off skills you can learn from games. Zonorhc is on the ball here, a lot of gamers have skills so fine-tuned which are usefull in the real-world because of how good they are at the games they play. RTS and team/party/squad based FPS/MMO are perhaps the two most benificial games you can possibly play aside from the usual 'problem solving' collection.

The world, bush and the mass American media.
I said pressued/bullied moron. Don't imply that I meant just one. Howard, under massive pressure from Bush to get involved - money and trade talk in politics - he went against the majority of Australians and got involved in a war we never should've been part of. I never said they were better off under Suddams Dictatorship, I just said they'd be better off like that than getting Democracy then have it slowly stripped away like is happening in America. They might as well starting having no rights, so to speak, than have them then have them removed piece at a time. Reading comprehension actually works - think first before you reply.

Best Dance Track Ever?
Sandstorm is overrated. It's the biggest bandwagon of music.

Bigger Sigs/ Avatars?
Compared to what they were before, the current limits are pretty generous. Or would you prefer 80x80 (6kb) avatars, 300x150 (30kb) sigs? And a long time ago the character limit was 255 including tags and urls within the url tag and img tags.

The world, bush and the mass American media.
When I talk about "the west" I refer to the coalition forces which took part in offensive action in Iraq to remove Hussien from power. Confining it to just America is stupid. A lot of countries now have targets on their backs because of a war they really never should've been part of, but essentially got bullied/pressured into it because of Bush. Look at the UK - so many failed attempts, and some pretty bad hits themself. Catalyst? Being part of the "coalition of the willing". It's essentially only a matter of time before the rest of the countries which were part of it are hit, and hit hard. And if they (Iraqi's) get the "American way of life" then I really do pity them. Personally I wouldn't be suprised if they wished for a dictatorship again when you take into consideration how screwed up - politically - America has become.

My New Car
Only if you like street cars. I used to, then I got smart and realised their potenital stoped at the end of the bitumen; unless it was a rally-grade vehicle... in which case it's not a legal road vehicle :P
-
The world, bush and the mass American media.
The 'war on terror' and Iraq as a whole did nothing but increase the likelyhood of terrorist attacks against "the west". Nice work there I must admit. At least Australia is generally at the bottom of the 'countries to hit' list even after being dragged into the Iraq war.

2008 Presidential Elections
well, she's either changed her view also, or is just band-wagon against the war. Either way if the public aren't for the war it's a good 'view' to have, real or not.
