Yup, i started in 2004 I played for about a month then I quit :( for about a year and started again early 2006. Err, wrong. I started in 2002 (5 years ago) and it was still RSC in January. RS2 I believe started in 2004. So let's see, I played 2 years of RSC, all of that information can easily be found on wikipedia by the way. Runescape (RSC) did NOT start until 2001 you idiot. Sorry to be rude. Considering Party Hats were dropped Christmas of 2001 and I came in after that (2002). NO ONE could have played for EIGHT years, considering the entire world of Runescape has only been around for 6 1/2, 7 next year. Well you sure did a good job of humiliating yourself "idiot".

I started this thread to kind of see what experiences people have had which made them realise they're old-school, but it's turning into more of a history lesson of RSC lol :| Anyhow, enjoying the read. :)

What makes you realise that you are actually considered "old-school" in RuneScape? I've only played for a 23 months, on and off but i was around in the xp battle between Zezima and Lilyuffie88 and the release of Receipe for Disaster, when I could have bought a full phat set for around 200mil. This isn't old on these forums, but it does seem ages ago that I experienced these things in my RuneScape life. Anyways I was just wondering what makes you realise you're old school? For me it's still seeing a Party Hat and thinking it's better than a 99 runecrafting cape. :| (hmmm naive) Ah well. What made you realise you're old school? EDIT: lol as if this thread is still going, I've played since Aug '05

They will be released, but with at least a 6 month gap in between so as to let the previous dragon item updates settle down.
