  1. I'd rather it was an easy but mind-challenging quest. I love these kinds!
  2. ...or, with better versions of existing items, AND new armors (elemental boots, anyone?)
  3. Dependspurely on your luck. I oersonally used about 3-4k tokens ( dont remember now).
  4. Do you remember to frequently refill the furnace with coal? I know it's very annoying!
  5. Shouldn't this go into the "Clues" forum?
  6. I don't know, maybe you didn't ready my guide properly... I DO factor the picking up. THAT'S WHAT i made the CASIO program. Let me explain it's basics. Say you have 1000 arrows. You shoot them all out, picking up. 20% of arrows break, so you have 800 left. You equip them again. Now you have 800 extra shots. You have 800 arrows. You shoot them all out... You catch my drift.
  7. I personally think you could do just fine at Barrows. Surely, the range lvl seems a bit low to tackle Ahrim, but I started Barrows with 62 range, and got almost 3 range lvls there. As for magic, I started at 62 (too), using Slayer dart, and I rarely miss now even in full torags at 67 magic. As for melee stats, see my sig. My strength and attack were both 70 when I was obsessed by Barrows. My advises are: Get 55 slayer, for that infamous Slayer Dart. It hits hard (16 for my magic level), and is completely sustainable from merely doing Barrows runs themselves. Get either: - Best prayer gear you can get (Pros'yte is best, but Initiate and Monk robes are good as well). - Good defense armor. I found that in Torags, with 70 defence, I still get hit pretty alot (I use anywhere from 8 to 14 lobs a trip, depending on luck though, after I went from all-prayer to eating, I found I use 4 doses less per trip). Also: - Best weapon you can get your hands on (Whip is ideal, though not necessary). - 60 range. Really, that boost you get when going over to red d'hide from blue, is worth wasting your time and arrows getting those 3 range lvls. - Mage armor is NOT necessary. Slayer dart (rumours that say it's accuracy is not based on magic attack bonus are NOT true) hits fairly often even in full Torags, and using Monk robes instead will give you about 90% accuracy at 55 magic, I guess. P.S. Also, I strongly advise you to take at least 5-6 prayer potions with you, so as to adapt to the Barrows (it may take some time, even with all advises and guides).
  8. Pretty decent source of income those Blues are, truly =) I need to kill another 620 to get from 65 to 70 ranged (45 killed already). That's 665 blue hides, and 665 d bones... Lovely money!
  9. Use prayer pots, of course. And I advise you don't bump the thread 22 minutes after creating it... :shame: People get angry on this.
  10. This question can be answered by first finding out how many EXISTED in beginning... Probably start a post on official RS forums, so that people tell how many santas they have, and then organise and calcualte? :D:D
  11. You can hardcore train agility. If you go back to F2P, the bonus wil carry over there too. Plus, you don't need any bank space to train agility (except, probably, agility tickets and gnomeball).
  12. As the others say, when you need to map the area...basically, right in the beginning.
  13. As I said, Karils is EXCELLENT against magic.
  14. Yes, the emotes button is utterly useless IMHO. "Run" button is not so convenient either. BUT! The ticking clock in wiz tower...worth it... And the new "char view" is so handy for close-up screenies!
  15. Maybe even as low as flax...110-120 ea. But that's not necessarily going to happen. :-k
  16. My friend had 8 pairs of rune boots.. I guess he's happy he didn't sell them before :D
  17. I have recently decided to go for full Guthans AND a whip. For that, I've calculated, I need about 6,5k nats. I've done FT pt2, and fully appreciate the Fairy Ring network. My questions are: - How many trips per hour will I be able to make using the route "Zanaris Bank - Fairy Ring - Nat Altar" (I won't craft myself, but run double nats for other people) - How much faster than the usual gen method is this new method?
  18. Sorry, I should have been clearer the railing panel has been completely removed, so that anyone can get through. oh, thats a relief ;)
  19. Swamp shortcut removed??? Insanity! How're gonna get our slayer tasks, those without lunar!
  20. Those who longed for making close-up screenis of their chars, have finally got their wish fulfilled!
  21. Guthans is extremely nice for training (as I don't much like PKing [not with barrows anyway] and CW). Karils... It has somewhat diddicult-to-judge set in terms if DEFENSE. It's top and skirt have same attack bonuses as black dragonhide chaps and body. However, the defenses are slightly less than those of black dragonhide: 13 less in stab, 10 less in slash, 15 less in crush. HOWEVER! In ranged defense, Karil's set rules the day! Simply top+bottom have 24 magic defense more than black dragonhide body+chaps! Also, ranged defense is 4 higher. Now for the Coif. It's ranged attack bonus isn't fabulous, it's much lower than both Robn Hood Hat and Archer helmet. HOWEVER, it's defenses are superior to those of the 2 other hats by some nice numbers. CONCLUSION: Karil's set is one of the best sets if you want to deal with magical creatures.
  22. I know what trees you talk about. AND I always see someone cutting trees there.
  23. Also, the costs can be considered: Fire bolt - 1 Chaos 3 Air Fire staff Crumble undead - 1 Chaos 2 Air 2 Earth Summary - if you use slayer staff to autocast "Crumble undead", you will need 1 less air per cast, but 2 extra earths.
  24. How much faster is the "Fairy bank-CKR-Nat altar" than the gen store route?
  25. 1 word: Amazing! Good luck with your goals! Respectable level-ups! Maybe you can post your total stats pics at end of each day, so we can see the progress daily?
