The JAGeX staff has accounts on Tip.It. They frequently (or not) browse the Tip.It forums (at least the news/articles), and may even post if there's something that should not be there. However, I do agree that this matter should be taken to JAGeX. I know what we could do! One day somewhat like 100 Tip.It'ers go on the same world (99 ftw?) to Falador and start spamming "New bank page! Check out Tip.It forums!!!"! This should bring JAGeX's attention. Or: spamming the whole chatbox with the same advert, and then report each other. As JAGeX receives snapshots of 60 seconds before the report... ^^ Just kidding here.... :

there are several things I want you to have in mind: 1. Using stat restorers may be actually a bad idea. The thing is, while the positive effects are not cumulative, the negative ones are. But this is exactly what makes the beauty of this situation! As soon as your skill drops to, say, 10-15 points below it's max, it will start drifting a bit up, and then a bit down. That's simply because the hances of getting negatives are the same as chances of getting positives, efficiently making the stat "float" around one point. 2. Take into account the Runescape timer. You know, the timer by which all farming plants proceed their growth etc? The fact is, all stat restoration happens on the base of such a counter. I believe, for stats it's about 2-3 minutes. You should perhaps figure out the counter interval and hitting moments. Why am I telling you this? Because you need to be careful eating spices when timer reaches 0. The stats may "update" and mess up your observations! 3. Good luck with buying/making all those stews! : As well as 3k doses of each spice... :wall: [EDIT]: Oh, didn't see that you already mentioned the "tick". Although, if I were you, I'd measure the tick timing and find some kind of custom timer on internet and use it. Dunno if anything like this exists though...

xpx, you can't compare Karils crossbow to crystal bow in terms of money. Basically, that's what my guide was about. Comparing prices, one shot from Karils costs over 8 times more than one shot from the C bow. Now, I know some people can afford to buy 10k bolt racks to train, but the MAJORITY of people doesn't. Also, I never said Crystal bow is THE most effective ranged weapon. I merely compared it to msb with rune arrows.

O use RuneScape official knowledge base. Basically, all "Easy" quests are doable if you did all quests except for the Dragon Slayer, which may be considered hard for non-members. Also, some "Medium" quests are avaialble to you as well.

No use to water them any more than that. The scarecrow works JUST like normal flowers do for other allotment crops. Don't you worry about protection.

I updated the guide yet again. I was suprised to clicking the link to my guide (in my sig) and find the last post as late as 9th april! Proving it wakes some response in peoples' hearts. Therefore, I edited the guide yet again. I made the mathematical formulas look much better (Although they take much more space now), also added the small "Speed Issue" chapter, because there are certain someones bugging me about including speed factor in my guide. I wrote that section very conservatively, and it may be updated later. I remind you, constructive criticism is always welcome!

We may never know, JAGeX may already work on a new banking page (even like the one you suggested). It still is possible that it will take years for them to accomplish it. Don't forget, there are some updates that've been developed for months, if not years (POH, anyone?).

I have a question. You base all your probability calculations based on the assumption that each dose added in stwes with more than one dose (2 and 3-dose) has different probabilities. What you say is that 1-dose stew has 5^1 = 5 outcomes, 2-dose stew has 5^2 = 25 outcomes, and 3-dose stew has 5^3 = 125 outcomes: -2 -2 -2 -1 -1 -1 0 0 0 +1 +1 +1 +2 +2 +2 It is a highly plausible assumption. However, are you entirely sure that when one more dose is added, they are not "merging" together? I.e. in such a way, a 3-dose stew would have 13 outcomes, which would have all equal chances of succession, and the +6 - modification would have a chance of 1/13 ~ 8%. Have there been any confirmation to either of the theories? Also, could you please add to your guide that you can combine certain skills when eating stews. For example, if eating orange spice at house to get a gilded altar, you can take some crafting amterials with you which you have too low lvl to create. That way, if you get a desired +skill bonus in crafting, you can use it to your advantage, and not just let it fade away aimlessly.

You haven't mentioned the dragons in the Ogre Enclave. There are always a plenty of them, and it's not always crowded there. Although I do fear that after this my post it WILL become crowded... :ohnoes:

If you are using a router to connect through LAN connection to the internet, it could have something to do with it. We had to change our router 2 (or 3?) times, because the router was frequently slowing down or disconnecting. Our router type is "D-link" by the way. Also, it could very well have something to do with your internet provider. Even if it's optical broadband, they DO have to do repairs sometimes.

AVG is completely legitimate, yes. I've been using it for quite a while. AVG free is more than enough, it still has a bunch of functions very useful to an average PC user... 10/10

For quite some time, there had been a bug about him (dunno if fixed now, haven't barrowed for a while), where he would get INSANE accuracy. And if you count he can hit in about 18-19's...you get my point.

Lunar magic isn't supposed to be offensive. It's an aiding/skilling tree, with healing, fertilizing and alike. If you want to go for some hardcore 0wn4g3 (hate leet speak!), take ancients. What else do you want???

+1... NO, +15!!! I mean it - the only useful prayers are the 3 protect ones, and, occasinally, the booster ones. We need more uses for prayer! I support it! Both hands up! However, you should give some more info on your suggestion. Maybe some pics, too?

Would be difficult to beat someone wearing Torags, crystal shield and alike. But I agree. The reason magic is only used cw and pking (occasionally on monsters) is because it's so expensive to use combat magic. While alchemy pays for itself, NONE other spells do! (except for when barrowing, of course :D) Ranging, in this case, is much cheaper. No matter how many complaints one hears about the crystal bow prices, it is AT LEAST 10 times cheaper to use that even the regular fire wave. I'm not even talking of Blood and Ice barraging.
