The schools preach the whole "abstinence only" BS more often that not. Only thing the schools should be teaching is the biological concept of things.

Abstinence should only be mentioned as a way of preventing STDs/pregnancy. It shouldn't be the sole information presented. Isn't the whole point of school to learn? Of course, abstinence is good, I simply refuse to support it on grounds of it being used as birth control. Which abstinence is some archaic age-old doctrine/mantra that needs a major update.

I know of a few other ways that a girl can get pregnant, but what ones do you know of? Explain? I can think of a few things but they are pretty out there. You don't want to know, and I certainly don't want to mention it here, it'll probably get me modded or something. That aside, I'd say to just teach them that abstinence DOES NOT work. It's an archaic old mantra or doctrine that simply does not fit in nowadays. Temptation plays in way too easily, and it is pretty hard to ignore, which is why I hate it. I'll put things into perspective as to why I personally hate sex now: the goddamn 3 month [cabbage] storm afterward. I had sex when I was 16 a few months back, but too much problems came out of it for maybe an hour or two of fun. Mainly all sorts of drama and bull [cabbage]. And to top it off, it really didn't feel too special either, so I would've been better off just putting it off for a while. Life story aside, abstinence does not work at all in most cases. And besides, there's one obvious, should I say, "anti-abstinence": rape. That just nullifies the concept entirely should that occur. I really don't wish it upon anyone, but this is pretty much one contradiction to it. I'd rather there be teaching about prevention of problems like kids having kids and std's, it's just not right. And the parents should be the ones teaching it, not the schools due to the whole bias involved with the whole "no don't do it it's wrong" mantra.

I think we're both lucky we got a beta key Nadril :lol: I can vouch for what he's saying. We had a few duels just to mess around(and he won barely most of the time) and did some quests and stuff together. It's pretty good fun.

Do you use any video programs, like FRAPS?

I'd honestly think he's gonna probably need a new computer entirely, since it's easier than just trying to replace everything to one motherboard. The HD making noises is a bad thing entirely, so the HD might be dead, I don't know. Besides, 20-pin connectors are OLD. He might have a warranty left if he's lucky. But yeah, the motherboard is out of comission at this point.

Java's a CPU-intensive process. You could kill the process and everything will run smoother. There's nothing really wrong here as far as I can tell. Java[Caution: Executable File] is a remnant of the program.

It's spelled Sovereignty. But that's beside the point. This is one nice step forward, although I'd like to see a slightly larger army/police force to get things under control. And it'll help with getting the US out of Iraq.

Yeah, same here. It's nerve-wracking waiting on my acceptance letter from uni. By tomorrow it's all down to luck if I get in. Which would be good since I graduated one year early.

Eh, summer gaming. I try to balance it out with the one thing I do a ton of: swimming. It's all around good for your body, and I get a nice balance. Overall it's a win-win situation.

This game is HARD, and that's almost an understatement. The first boss, for instance, has 250 HP, with some healers you should kill first that have around 70 hp, and your characters will deal a max of maybe 10(30 on the healers if you're lucky). All the while he three-shots anyone he can hit physically. It's one hell of a game(no pun intended)

I honestly see welfare as being something that should help those that need a second chance, or helping those that are unable to help themselves(mainly the disabled, those who have been completely unable to find a job, those in poverty, etc.) Granted, this system could be abused, but then again, aren't most goodwill systems abused by some people? Social Security is there to help support the elderly, so it's necessary in my eyes. I absolutely hate how welfare tries to equalize wealth for everyone though. We should be able to use the money we've earned in our own way, after any necessary payments to the government, like income tax, for instance. I'd rather see a progressive rate of taxes, where the wealthier pay a slightly higher percentage of their income than the lower classes.
