Exactly. Just because there are differences in cultures that doesn't make each culture's beliefs equally reasonable. Take human sacrifice for example. As for them being tried as adults, I don't quite understand... They're not adults. Why be tried as one? Sure, what they did was disgusting but they should be tried as kids who raped someone... that's what they are. What's the point of even calling it "tried as an adult" if you can just pick and choose who it applies to? It should be called "tried to the harshest extent" or something like that.

They already can. "**** you" conveys the same exact message as the uncensored version. The symbols change - yet the meaning is exactly the same. And everyone knows what someone was trying to say when they see "**** you". Censors really don't make any sense to me. :?

I haven't heard about this story, nor a lot of other news related ones. TIF usually brings it to my attention quicker than any other media source. That being said though, he's right about threads like these having little discussion value. Maybe we should have a big thread all about messed up things that happened around the world?

I brought up how you remind me of the grandpa from the Rugrats and did so within the frame of one sentence. Then you made a long post of nothing more than senseless garbage of sarcasm, how you always "tear our arguments to pieces", Grandpa Lou nostalgia, and how we're dancing around the actual point. You tell me what your standards are while not abiding by them yourself. Then what's the point of your name? The players are what make up Runescape, and not just 10% of them. Are you telling me that if one person had an obsession with the aesthetics of Bloodvelds and Jagex suddenly had a graphical update that changed them, that one person is right to say that "RS died"? No, you'd probably disagree with them.

I don't know what to make of that story. He was so young. I bet they don't give a second thought about giving the operation to elderly people... and their time is coming soon anyways. On the other hand, it was his fault and donated livers are pretty scarce.

Back in your day, Jagex implemented a second trade window because of the excess of scamming, banned a bunch of people for duping rares, and added lots of new rules to prevent players from ruining the game.
