Most people who ask to add me are too annoying for a friendship to ever work so I just tell them my list is full even though it's not even close. I like to know people a little before adding them, and I hate when people just want to be my friend for free help.

I'll probably try it out but I'm still definitely sticking with RS.

To Diesel: We know that Phats, Skillcapes, and the likes don't have any tangible positive effect on your life but they still represent something special. If I spend 100 hours trying to get a Phat, then it just goes to show what you can achieve with willpower and determination. So technically people with rares aren't just showing off the rares, they are showing off their dedication to completing a goal (with an exception to those who got them for free). In other words, if someone can spend 100 hours aiming for a pointless goal with my willpower and determination, it goes to show something about their personality - they're not a quitter. Now, if you want to make something useful out of this - translate that to real life. "If I have the willpower to spend 100 hours clicking for a pointless goal, then imagine what I can accomplish in 100 hours in real life trying to reach an important goal such as saving up a certain amount of money or trying to get good grades. Just think of it as a generic symbol of success. To some people, that's what they view it as. I look up to Phat owners, but I personally prefer Skill Capes.

Exactly, it's really just the social reaction that stops people from doing it: Punch a girl and all the guys around you will think lowly of you. However, if your life was in danger and a girl was coming at you with a knife, they'd probably think you were stupid if you merely tried restraining her.

I think burning something shows a little more hostility than words do. Like I said, fire is one of the most extreme forms of desecration.

For things like Dusties and Dragons I do an extra few kills. Of course, I never got anything that way and I don't know why I do it, but hopefully someday I'll get lucky.

To me, efficiency is enjoyment. I might just be in the minority, but I personally like leveling up on every single game I played. It's that whole RPG/Dungeons and Dragons aspect where you watch your character grow and I like it. Sometimes I get bored of training and in that case I take a break and do something else fun.

I honestly don't think they are. I wasn't at the time. I listened to Slipknot before I listened to Slayer, Sepultura, Iron Maiden, etc. Nu Metal is what got me into real metal, and from the looks of the kids' shirts at school, it looks like they are the same way.

I like Slipknot too. I'm talking on a general level from my speculations at my school. You like making assumptions dontcha? Tell me, how many Elementary School kids listen to Slipknot, Azzy. People like different music for different reasons - for the majority of people it's not just because they find it "appealing to the ears". If you ask me, almost all music sounds appealing. You're ignoring an important ingredient: the attitude of the music. I think country and pop both sound good (they are catchy), but it just doesn't fit my personality at all. I like more hostility in my music, therefore that is why metal appeals to me and country does not.

1. Continue like normal. Mods don't interfere with what I post and express at all, besides using a few swear words I guess. 2. This is different. The sole purpose I come on TIF is to have mature discussions. I go on RS to relax and have fun. When players disrupt me or others from having fun then I'd love nothing more than to flame them to hell, because honestly I'm quite good at pushing someone's buttons. I'm an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy. 3. I really don't know. I would only know the answer to this if it actually happened.

When I go around school I see most of the younger kids wearing Slipknot shirts. They're going through a revolutionary time in their life - entering the rebellious teenage age. Most are not mature enough to like the real metal, but they are starting to like the idea behind metal (the hardcore lifestyle) and the catchiness of the songs is what draws them in.
