Woot, I got to miss four days of school in a row since a hurricane hit us this week. I'm getting 98 Thieving tomorrow and then I'll be sporting that awesome Thieving cape on Saturday. :mrgreen:

You could probably make a good profit from killing dragons and selling their hides and bones. Or you could range aviansies. My last suggestion would be cockroaches. Either way, your best bet would be camping at a monster that has nice drops.

Even though I'm a mostly anti-F2P-updates, I'd have to say that that would be a pretty dumb move. There was a world of difference between P2P Pking and F2P Pking when the wilderness was in use. This is because the battles are different since you are only restricted to nonmember food, equipment, and magic. It's the same reason you see members fight in Clan Wars - it's different so sometimes they find it fun to go on a F2P world.

It's a parent's worst nightmare. Junior: "Dad, can I become a member on Runescape?" Dad: "OH NO, Runescape? Where have I gone wrong, Junior? Why can't you be on the football team like a normal boy." :cry:

Actually that's a pretty nice idea, since Rangers have an ammo slot. The only problem I have is that I think 6 slots are a bit too much.

So you are asking which combat skill is best and which noncombat skill makes the most money? RCing is definitely the best skill for money, but slowly the profit is gradually decreasing since more and more people want to Runecraft. When it comes to combat, that's highly opinionated and the answers will differ depending on the battle.

To be honest, fighting all over the map sounds a lot more fun than just fighting in a boring wasteland. You get a nice change of scenery. ;)
