Flamebait, or is it?
I agree Laura. Personally, I respect all achievements. Everyone should be proud of what they accomplished - whether it be 70 Cooking or 99 Slayer. Now, the moment they start bashing everyone else's achievements is the moment I lose all respect for that person. I wouldn't even respect someone with 99 Slayer if they did that - because it just goes to show that they got their goal just to make everyone think they are better than everybody else. If you're bashing someone else's goals, then it shows us how highly you think of your own and that you just got it so no one would be able to bash you. Goals should be achieved though your own self-satisfaction - not because you know you will get more respect from strangers for it.

The government and its control over us.
That would be direct inheritance. If your parents are rich, you have a much greater chance to be sent off to a good college and your parents can make sure you live a nice easy life, so then one day you can become rich too. I'd love to see statistics showing me how many poor people there are who once lived with their rich families. My guess is it wouldn't be a very high number at all.

Prayer is not easy....
50k Xp an hour at a Gilded Altar? I really don't think it's that slow. I'm 85 and I remember it going much faster. I hope you use Glories and teles when you train instead of just running to the bank.

Twilight Zone, anyone still remember it?
I miss that show. It always had some sort of freaky twist. Can't remember many episodes though... I think I remember one that was like the Monkey's Paw where they kept making wishes and they came true but in the worst possible way.

The government and its control over us.
My opinion of the US government... Well, I'm getting really tired of the, "Don't like it - GTFO!" attitude so I'll keep things on a low tone. The way I see it, things are almost just like they were in the ancient times. There were the nobles who inherited all their wealth and had all the power (government) and then there were the peasants who had to work for the royal families (citizens). Peasants are pretty much stuck being peasants. Generally speaking, it's much much harder to become wealthy when you're born into poverty. Also, it's much much easier to become successful if your daddy is rich. If you ask me, the government just enforces this. They make sure there is a substantial line that can only be broken by something like winning the lottery. After all, they set the rules - they set the criteria - they say what goes - honestly, if they wanted to make sure that this division of the classes stayed consistent throughout time... how could they be stopped? They're in charge. Oh I forgot one more thing. There's one thing us citizens do have: We have the power to vote - for the same rich families over and over again.

What affects a person's first 99 choice?
The first two reasons pretty much explain why I got my 99's. I got Woodcutting and Hunter so I could make some cash. Fletching and Cooking were because I calculated how long it would take me and I realized it was a considerably short amount of time - so I decided to go for them. In my opinion, when it comes to power, 90 is already a really nice level. It's only 9 down from 99 but over half the Xp away though. So that's why I pretty much stopped at 90ish for now when it comes to my combat skills. Rarity doesn't bother me. I guess my Hunter Cape is kind of rare but I mainly got it for the money and just for the sake of having a goal.

Why do people look down on skill capes?
And if you read what I wrote, I said I wear it even when I'm alone at my POH. I'm sorry, I thought there was a reason people put up trophies in their own house in real life. Maybe I'm wrong about that too, eh? ;)

What makes you angry?
^ Haha, nice story. Something else that makes me angry is when a body part falls asleep. I can't take it anymore! :x

The Wise Old Man - An Unsolved Mystery...POST ALL EVIDENCE!
That guy always freaked me out. I figured I would be better off not getting to know him personally.

Runescape Oddities and BIG SUPRISE
You have the RS theme song memorized? [hide=Here's an even greater surprise]OOPS! :^o[/hide] Oh and about the dagger - yeah. That is pretty weird. Almost as weird as goblins and imps walking around and respawning even though they know they are going to die soon anyways. Runescape is just full of surprises.

Your First Post on TIF!
I believe my first post was something like: "Great suggestion. =D> " (to the organized bank thread) I guess I just really didn't have much to say.

More so called rioting?
Riots are hilarious. What's more entertaining than a crowd of upset people whining in hopes that something will change - when of course they are completely wrong?

Old School & "I was here since RSC Classic.."
I don't have a problem with Old School pride. I don't have a problem with any sort of pride whatsoever - everyone should personally be happy about who they are/what they accomplished. The problem I do have is when some people use their pride against others: "Haha I'm old school and you're not!"

One of the best inventions ever: Invisibility
To be completely honest, I won't be impressed until we get something like a Cloak of Invisibility from Harry Potter. Sure, it looks like we've taken a big step but we're probably gonna have to take a lot more.

Luckiest Moment?
When I was walking in school and threw a piece of a crayon at the window which was about ten feet away - I kept walking and it bounced right into my hand!

Red Chinchompas
I inclusively concur! Folks routinely stray to the pessimistic side when Jagex bestows a new update upon them. Indeed, the game is not impeccable, nevertheless it is their affair to seek out the most gratifying activity from their perspective as an alternative to fuming about subsidiaries - otherwise those inopportune souls will be wedged into their own self-assembled crevice of despair! :ohnoes:

Achievements: Latest, Greatest.. Pointless?
Greatest: 99 Hunter Latest: 85 Slayer The key to being happy in RS is caring what you think, rather than what others think. If you want to think 99 Cooking is a great achievement, then who's going to stop you? That's all that matters, because someone out there is always going to put your achievements down. In RS, you get made fun of for everything. So just worry about your own opinions when it comes to your own success and you'll be a happy player. In other words, choose self-satisfaction over reputation. :D
