    Runescape is too political. Now that's just sick...

  4. Why should I ignore that which intrigues me the most? #-o They were rhetorical questions. This is was getting at: I was trying to draw a parallel between you excessively asking OP why he cared so much even after he gave you more than enough responses, hence my "recurring".
  5. But why do you care so much? Do you see what I'm getting at here? Because I like to argue. I keep saying that. :unsure: My point. Why do you care about arguing about that? {recurring-->} Because it's fun to argue. I think you're doing the same thing, incidentally. We could be best friends. :) What a troll. I was thinking the same thing. Ob, why do you care about arguing about that as opposed to something more important? {recurring--->>}
  6. Not going to answer since there is no one above me.
  7. What? You a Digimon fan?
  8. But why do you care so much? Do you see what I'm getting at here? Because I like to argue. I keep saying that. :unsure: My point. Why do you care about arguing about that? {recurring-->} As for you liking to argue, I'm pretty sure you liking to vent your annoyances is a pretty good defense too.
  9. But why do you care so much? Do you see what I'm getting at here? You weren't just pointing something out - you kept asking many times over "y do u care? y dont u just IGNAR?". I'm trying to catch up in posts to take some of the spotlight off you, but you keep hindering the process. Obtaurian 47 CrustyGoblinFoot 32
  10. Well? Are you gonna at least answer the question?

  12. The analogy is suitable. The fact of the matter is that whilst criticizing his inability to brush trivial stupid issues off, you are continuously (even moreso than the OP is) discussing, bumping, and even exacerbating a trivial issue that could just as easily be brushed off. Some might even venture to call it irony. You have both pointed out something that bothers you (and fully expected the public's input since you've both submitted your point on a public forum), instead of you both choosing to ignore it. So, in conclusion: Stop crying just because you lost a debate. There's an ignore feature for those who are butthurt by what strangers have to say.
  13. And you clearly wanted people to discuss your point by submitting your post on a public forum. I thought I already went over this with you. Unlike me, you do not catch on very fast. Here it is once more: It is not getting "picked on" or "bullied" that bothers him as he blatantly pointed out himself, as did others - it is the mentality people have that there should only be one universal way to play the game which is the cause of him complaining. Not that he feels threatened - that he feels the popular opinion is stupid. The ignore/chat-off feature is not only irrelevant, but it is often a terrible suggestion too. People prefer being social on MMOs. Furthermore, if OP puts someone on the ignore list, that does not negate the fact that he thinks their opinion is foolish and that he wants to criticize it on the forums. How would putting the people who have annoyed him on the ignore list alter the composition of this rant? OP never knocked on someone's bedroom door demanding a response to his rant, so your analogy is a bit flawed. The fact of the matter is that whilst criticizing his inability to brush trivial stupid issues off, you are continuously (even moreso than the OP is) discussing, bumping, and even exacerbating a trivial issue that could just as easily be brushed off. Some might even venture to call it irony. But yet, there is something in your head that tells you that you're an exception - you're different. Correct me if I am wrong, but I'm guessing it's the God-Complex? Here's a pretty fair indicator of who cares the most: Obtaurian 43 CrustyGoblinFoot 28 Ring_World 14 bladewing 14 FirenLazah 13 Ginger_Warrior 12 All_Is_Great 12 I'm gaining on you though. ;) You're almost as mad as OP. Almost. I am not mad at you. Just disappointed. But then, that is why I come here. To be let down by society in order to help motivate me in making a difference in this depressing world. I thank you.
  14. This times 1 trillion. The point of headphones is so that I don't have to hear your crappy music. The same goes for cars. In 30 years so many people are going to need hearing aids. Ridiculous... I heard now is the best time to invest in hearing aids. Anyone know if this really is a good idea?
  15. This is usually the part where Effort Value and Nature are brought up. The part where Pokemon loses its fun. :cry:

  17. Why are you unable to read? turn public chat to friends and he has nothing to complain about. That's like saying, "Don't go to school if you have a problem with bullying." It's more like saying, "if a ten-year-old kid is making fun of you on the internet, ignore him." "If someone posts a stupid rant, ignore it." Yeah, apparently it is not such a normal practice. I'm going for at least 20, as this is such an important issue.
  18. Why are you unable to read? turn public chat to friends and he has nothing to complain about. That's like saying, "Don't go to school if you have a problem with bullying." Furthermore, you're trying to bring up the out-of-sight out-of-mind mantra. If I never met a pro-lifer arguing against abortion, would that suggest that there is no reason for me to argue against the pro-life opinion? Nope, even if I didn't have to actually deal with them, the existence of their ideals is enough to incite a response. Adding person after person to your ignore or having chat off altogether does not negate the fact that people still believe there is only one universal way to play an RPG - which is what the argument is about. It has never been about trying to hide from those people or wanting to censor what they have to say. PS: I think ignore is pretty useless (aside from controlling spam flooding). Know your enemy.
  19. Why are you unable to read? Oh, my mistake - it isn't that you can't read. It's the fact that you conveniently skip over the posts addressing your point, explaining in detail why it is not a simple matter of using the ignore list, and then you assume that, since your point has been unchallenged (even though it has actually been deflowered in reality - a word you may be unfamiliar with), you are some highly renowned cool smart-ass on a Runescape forum, just for the sole purpose of helping you get sleep at night, which is an immense implication of being self-centered. Or maybe you can't read. I'm just postulating logically feasible theories, akin to your postulation that the OP does not possess the necessary skills in order to implement the ignore feature during game play, which you got from him simply stating his annoyance with the whole "lol this is the rite way to play runescape kid" mentality.

    LOL Yer, but it's still a reflection of yourself regardless of why you're choosing to act differently (which is usually because one's *real life* reputation is not on the line, plain and simple).

    I'm very sensitive when it comes to temperature, so I hate going outside during winter and summer. I just feel thoroughly uncomfortable when I'm too hot or too cold and it's the only thing I'll have on my mind. Aside from the temperature, I think snow looks pretty cool when it's soft and white.
  23. I learned some new words.
  24. Agreed. They are both silly things to care about. But hey it's human nature.
  25. I guess alot of people care why someone cuts willows instead of ivy. LOL. People care about the silliest of things.
