MR, Jay Leno
I fixed it. It was social commentary on how old people think today is all around a much easier time than what they had to go through.

MR, Jay Leno
Yeah Gramps? How was the economy? You always seem to forget to complain about that for some reason.

What have you learned today?
I learned how to be more manipulative.

Beer Pong
Never been an adherent of beer pong. I favor sipping at my drink and being delirious on my ass. When the urgency to pursue an objective arises, I can conjure up plenty.

Worst way to die
Being mauled by a rusty pitchfork would be brutal. The type of death that I think bothers me the most is getting ran over.

Done anything awesome lately?
I'll drink to that ;) The bears are on me. :shades: *cracks one open* Thats pretty grizzly. No, it's actually the polar opposite. Bear jokes suck.

10% of the World's Muslims can reasonably be defined
Hey, cut that out. This is no place for games. On topic, I don't think statistics are of much help in finding out how many Muslims really uphold terrorist ideals. On one hand, the statisticians could be skewing the results by asking vague questions and extrapolating it to "violence". On the other hand, someone's personal testimony about their own violence is not a foolproof means of acquiring the truth. Either way, I don't think it's possible to find accurate statistics on the matter.

A thread about something nice
I think it's a pretty unnecessary job. I'd rather give my order to the chef and bring it to the table myself to save money. At the same time though, I am philanthropic at heart and will allow society to walk over me to some extent. That is until the line is crossed, then I will get retribution in the name of society's dignity. I ordered a plate of chicken at a Walmart once and it was cold and intolerably disgusting (I'm talking inedible in my terms, which is hard to achieve - plus their chicken is usually not that bad!). It was easily one of the most unpleasant meals I've ever had. I threw it in the garbage and left. The moral thing to do in my opinion. You shouldn't get away with serving people that crap and getting paid for it. I actually feel less comfortable when a stranger greets me at the door and asks how I'm doing. I hate superficial manners. But anyway... I made breakfast and lunch for my family today and plan on making it a common thing. Besides, I actually kinda enjoy cooking.

A thread about something nice
Tips. They're like interest on food. Personally, I don't tip delivery people here. The place I get my pizza from charges a three dollar delivery fee, so in reality, no tip is necessary. Even if there weren't a delivery fee, I still wouldn't pay them -- not because I don't respect them for being paid to drive to my house, but because I'm not forced to tip them. Pizza is pizza, and I really don't care if the person who delivers it doesn't like me. Uh oh, we got ourselves a Mr. Pink here.

From there it's more of not having people foam at the mouth when those beliefs are inevitably brought up. Are you implying that you are intolerant about my belief system? PS: Foaming at the mouth is literally the best thing you can do when religion is being argued over. Am I right??

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
I figured three good examples would paint the picture that I do have a clear understanding of what an ironic situation is. In fact, I would say that consistently using a word correctly in a couple of sentences is a better implication that the person has a good understanding of the word than if they were to just recite the dictionary definition verbatim.

More USA documents get released by Wikileaks
Good point. I think you just gained a level in Witticism.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
So he directly and intentionally asks to be ridiculed for having an uncommon goal, which is analogous to directly and intentionally cutting your own hand off? Examples of irony: When someone who is pro-life murders an abortion doctor. When someone who plays Runescape tells another person how to best use their time. When someone who says that trivial matters should just be ignored and not cared about is complaining about trivial matters instead of ignoring it and not caring about it. The underlines show what their position is. The italics show the twist behind them doing something inconsistent with their position.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
Strawman! Also, thank you for helping me achieve a post count of 7400. WOOT! EDIT: The first sentence is just your opinion. I mean, at least they aren't the ones being ironic.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
Then his rant is unwarranted. That's like cutting your own hand off and complaining about it as if you didn't do it to yourself. He's either stupid or a masochist. I'm putting my money on the latter. That was a bad example. It's more like someone doing something irritating, and you complaining about it as opposed to disregarding it (MOAR irony!). Also, it is kind of impossible to "ignore" it entirely unless you turn public chat off, which is a trade-off I'm sure OP didn't want to make. So I guess you could also say that he's ranting about how it shouldn't even have to come to using ignore or private chat. It's about as warranted as almost every other rant/complaint/criticism on Rants.

10% of the World's Muslims can reasonably be defined
Someone who's name will not be known, once said that the fact that God said in one chapter "And he was pleased with his works," and then in a different chapter "he was not pleased with his works." as proof that not only is the Bible full of contradictions, but God is a temperamental pouty little girl. That is a case of atheists being more religious than the people they slander. My problem is not really with religion, but moreso "acting religious" - the religious mindset that can be seen amongst atheists and theists alike. As long as society can hold an average conversation without "god" or "the nonexistence of god" being brought up, I think we could get a lot more done. So yeah, down with religion. And links (aka scripture).

Food
Yea, for real. They cannot cook the general tsao's properly. UGH! Some places have really good Tsao's and egg rolls, but proportionally the vast majority of Chinese restaurants I've come across (at least in my area) serve flavorless crusty rations. I figure I'll have an easier time being pro-Mexican. Oh yeah. Now that you mention it, I've never complained about eating Chinese in PA. Yet another reason to hate peninsula living.
