  1. I agree. My favorite thing about achievements is their uniqueness from person to person. Some people will beat Zelda: Ocarina of Time in less than 6 hours. Some will beat Mario without dying once. Some will try to beat Final Fantasy games at the lowest level possible. Some people try to get the max possible money. Xbox 360 achievements are pretty cliche and one-dimensional, but I do appreciate the organization. It is also pretty fun "maxing out" games, but it doesn't give you the feeling of ingenuity like you get with unique goals.
  2. Haha, I don't know what to make of the original artwork for the album.

What about banana splits with hot fudge? :( I saw a commercial where somebody dunked a strawberry into chocolate. Now that is repulsive.
  4. Title edited to prevent anime smartassery.*

What I do is suck all of the chocolate and icing goo off until I get to the naked cherry. Then I bite into it. If I ate them simultaneously, it probably would be pretty gross.
  6. Lmao, good point. I find the show very humorous and entertaining. Buscemi is quite the character. "Go read a [bleep]in book!" As far as the plot goes, it's just a bunch of background information to me. I don't care.
  7. My proudest gaming accomplishment would either be 100% Gold Star in GTA4: TBoGT (being that meticulous in GTA is hard) or getting everything in Final Fantasy 12 (because there's just so much stuff to do). Let the bragging begin!
  8. 1/10 I hate robots.

I'm the same way, except for chocolate-covered cherries and raisins.

Today I woke up at 5 am instead of the usual 5 pm.

I had chicken with Jack Daniel's Barbecue Sauce. I didn't know such a thing existed. It was delicious, but too bad I could only have half of a breast of chicken.
  12. Yes, high-level content can benefit everybody. High levels will have their hard work and effort rewarded, and low levels will have something to work towards. But why does low-level content only benefit low levels? High levels are completely capable of taking advantage of the low-leveled content. For example, teletabs, iron knives, ranarr, dds are all low level content that high levels regularly implement into their play and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Low level material does not exclusively benefit low levels. I agree. There should be content for all level ranges because it provides a more diverse game play experience which benefits everyone. Whoa, wait just a minute... I guess you should STOP PLAYING RUNESCAPE BECAUSE IT'S NOT THE GAME FOR YOU. Seriously, I love the argument "stop playing if u dont like it!!!". These forums exist for discussing things you dislike and do like. And that argument would actually make more logical sense to be used against you, seeing as you are the one who's taking issue with the way the current game is being run.
  13. This thread provokes the question of what Jagex's standards are when considering something to be a necessary rule (which breaks the fourth wall) or merely just "the spirit of the game" - as they put it themselves. That one is just about the general ethics behind crashing. If you think it's too similar though, you can lock it. You've never seen someone rant about capitalism before? I don't believe you.
  14. My misunderstanding. I was under the impression that he was saying skills and combat should be farther apart - that having high skills shouldn't reward you with high tier combat items. Not that he was arguing there should be no rewards for high skills in general.
  15. Where did he say he only wants there to be content at his own level range? Maybe I missed that.
  16. While I will say it is annoying when someone pops onto my world and starts competing with me, it is also an integral part of the game. Competition is more or less the spirit of gathering resources in Runescape. Not to mention, it is not *my* ore rock - it belongs to the online world. On the other hand, should morality be different just because it's a game on the internet? I'm sure scamming could be argued to be just a part of the game too because it demonstrates that you should be skeptical and cautious around strangers. Offensive language could also be put up there - I'm sure goblins wouldn't have many nice things to say about you while you're slaying them. So here is a more specific question: Why does Jagex think resource competing (something that could be deemed immoral and selfish in real life) isn't breaking the fourth wall of real morality - but other acts such as name calling and scamming are?

Just had some kraut dogs with spicy mustard as a midnight snack. Pretty [bleep]ing good.
  18. The B-52's - Rock Lobster I hate them...
  19. I haven't seen anyone arguing that there should be no content. However, I have seen the argument that skills and combat should be treated as non-complementary/separate aspects of the game. I don't agree with this, but it is pretty funny seeing how many people are jumping down his throat for "forcing the game to fit his own custom tailoring because he's lazy". By that logic, so are we.
  20. How you guys are deducing that Sir Kurity is affected by his own lazy conflict of interest is well beyond me. No one is forcing the game to fit their custom preference any more than the next guy. Which is our personal preference on how the game should be.
  21. "u mad bro?" Now I am.
  22. Foolproof it is. I managed to get to level 40 and didn't contemplate making a new character even once. I really like using a Warrior in WSG and AB, but grinding instances SUCKS. Tanking is too boring. Whenever I try to spice things up by pulling big mobs, I get yelled at for being a bad tank. But when I actually do get in a party that can handle it, the fun challenge of worrying about death is well worth the risk. IDK maybe different strokes for different folks.
