  1. When you're up above use a rope on the heavy boulder, and I think it's Mountain Daughter that's the quest, but you only have to do it if you want to enter non boulder way.
  2. You're not able to buy the pouch from him unless you have previously owned it. Meaning you won't be able to buy one unless you lose one you get as a drop.
  3. The rogue doesn't buy them, he only buys things made from gold.
  4. So I was thinking of ways to get money in order to fund skilling and figured monster/boss hunting would probably be the best choice. Dagg Kings- somewhat easiest of the bunch, but the reward isn't as much as the other 2. Tormented Demons- I know my stats aren't high enough to solo, maybe possible to duo not quite sure. Godwars- not sure which boss I would take, but I don't think I would be able to solo efficiently here either. So I'm wondering which one would probably be best at getting a nice bit of cash with, for lack of better terms, the "easiest". Thanks ahead of time, ~allmonkey
  5. Well you can either sell them for profit or turn them into tiaras for exp, you're choice.
  6. Okay not flaming, but you still have 46 herblore... Other than that congrats on everything else.
  7. That's good news. I wouldn't mind if it took therm a month as long as it was taken care of. Do you have the QFC? Here is the QFC for that thread: 15-16-759-58307528 That post was on page 24. I do hope that the bug abusers get banned. This is extremely annoying...... -.- Also, Mod Poppy... .... [/hide] Rofl First Poppy says I'm pretty in pink, then Timbo won't give me coffee, jagex are giving me mixed signals  You have to figure how tedious their jobs get; they have to brighten it in up in some sort of fashion. Apparently since today they were forced into clean up of this mess they didn't get to play in the break room to ease the stress from work (and from what I hear the break room is pretty nice). On topic: It was a large mess probably caused from a minor mistake in the code or something of the sort. These things are bound to happen in one way or another and we shouldn't expect that each update is fully perfect. I think they are dealing with the situation well considering the mass of chaos created from the issue, it will just take time.
  8. So you are still alive! I was wondering where you were hiding. Regardless still an amazing bank.
  9. As far as I can remember the gilded cup + stew won't stack for the total +12, BUT the stew and crystal saw will stack for a +9 IF the thing you are building needs a saw (ie no monsters).
  10. Just so you have an opinion, I would say mithril plates. Sure you lose more but there are oh so many more things you can do with the saved time of 1. smithing animations and 2. getting rid of the junk; and pretty much the way i see it is start up cash = loss and just ignore the profit (being blind to somethings makes decisions easier but bias, i'm just acting like the rest of the world).
  11. Uh... don't you mean Hanukkah? Anyway happy winter solstice, merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, have a terrific Kwanzaa, etc.
  12. Can I point out that some of the better pkers use multiple styles? It's not necessarily a good idea to stick with one and only one attack method while pking especially if you're solo. But if you need help with actual methods you'll need someone else to help you there. Good luck. ~allmonkey
  13. 57-61 crafting with bowstrings is bearable and you turn some profit. Just so you have another option though you could look at necklaces/bracelets, it really depends on the price of gems on GE.
  14. Shouldn't you try to sell the magic cape racks to advisor grimm while the price is altered (qfc on rsf 15-16-420-58086215) Anyway good luck on 99 construction just a bit more.
  15. For exp/hr it actually hurts because of having to go through the animation and having to use the logs on the pyrelord instead of tinderbox; so in the end not worth it.
  16. I'm still lacking the boots from the set, with 60 agility and 70ish thieving I was able to breeze through the course relatively quick (around 2 to 5 minutes once you get really good at it). Again it's a matter of luck so I would say 1 hour or so to memorize the what to do to get through and then who knows how many till you get the set. What I use to do is crack the safes in the lobby or cook while I wait for my run energy to get back to 100% before I attempted to do the maze again.
  17. If you're up for a major change in scenery I suggest trying shades of mor'ton collecting remains to burn for prayer exp; I could only manage myself to do around 500 before I went crazy of having to do clues every other run to the alter, and it's also an interesting experience if you ever wanted to make splitbark armor. Otherwise I agree with mole and barrows suggestion since you don't like kq.
  18. tarromin tar (15 swamp tar + 1 tarromin herb = 15 tarromin tar) also might i suggest getting levels for black salamander? it seems to have a rather large difference in flame throwing needs :D
  19. They do reference viewtopic.php?f=30&t=772254&start=120
  20. I would advise to pay mind to what Appleankh said about how they might be hitting too hard on you for having low defence; just be sure to know when you should come back and try again later.
  21. For your range armor I think you should sell the karil's coif (if possible) and buy a sara/zammy coif, and instead of magic short bow use a rune crossbow + broad bolts. For magic armor you can upgrade to ahrims if you want if not nothing is wrong with what you have. Melee again nothing wrong, you can probably get torags armor if you want, but you seem fine with what you have. For farming I say use kingdom for a week or so w/ atleast 5 workers on maples and hope for decent tree seeds (I did this for easy levels when I wasn't really trying so hard to raise farming, there are some pretty good guides that emphasize otherwise but that's not my forte). For herblore I remember using a good chunk of money to get to the level to make super restores. I bought avantoe herbs (were a bit cheaper back then) and mort myre fungi (still as expensive as ever) and made super energy pots taking roughly 1k-2k hit per pot and this alone can take up that little fortune you ran into so I suggest doing this after running MTK for a bit :D Summary: use the bit of money on MTK in order to fund farming then herblore and upgrade your armors only if you think you'll actually use them soon.
  22. Let's see armor wise head: slayer helm (otherwise facemask) neck: fury ammy (otherwise glory) body: fighter torso/rune plate till 70 def then get torag or whatever barrows armor your heart contents legs: d legs/skirt (or rune) till 70 def then same as above boots: dragon gloves: barrows/regen/combat bracelet ring: berserker/warrior (otherwise whatever you want) shield: rune defender/obby shield you're choice if you feel you're getting hit too much w/ defender try shield weapon: whip for attack/defence training sara sword or dragon scimitar for str Inventory should be natures, mudstaff, pineapple pizzas, and one of each stackable drop they have (such as fire runes, soul runes, coins, and keep rune arrows in arrow slot) and if you don't have a mudstaff bring b2p tablets. As for familiar maybe terrorbird with more food, not quite sure on what familiars are really good for camping so you'll have to forgive me on that part. With a setup such as this you should be able to last for quite a bit; pick up alchables and alch them with brought natures. Assuming you're in chaos tunnels if you don't think you can collect enough bones to heal up go to the room down and kill monks of zammorak(lvl 37 I think) for bones, and I would say bank whenever you have less than 3 spaces in your inventory from having too many good herbs or such.
  23. Is it just me or is Mavario(sp?), in his notes, hinting that the soul alter somewhere in lumbridge swamp near the underground goblin village? Also I somehow managed to read through all. Much thanks because: 1. I won't be doing the quest for a long while. 2. I probably would have only skimmed through the dialog when I actually do the quest anyway.
  24. Isn't part of the thing of lootshare is that the person has to do damage to the monster in order to have a chance at drop. Correct me if I'm wrong but it could provide some trouble. Edit: nvm I looked it up and there is nothing about having to do damage, but might I suggest dust devils if you have the slayer level. They are unaggressive in chaos tunnel, only problem is getting to them.
  25. Saying basilisks hit hard is a major joke as long as you have the mirror shield. Food wise you'll need some but nothing much, I'd say bring something that can be eaten in multiple bites (pineapples, cakes, etc.) But just glancing at your stats there's nothing to worry about, just remember your mirror shield. Edit: and if you want to make it as one trip bring a b2p tab or something of the sort.
