    R.I.P

This is the one where someone had a major [rooster] up, telling the families that all of the people had survived with 1 critical, only to tell them 30 minutes later that 12 were dead with 1 critical? I tell you, the person who made that mistake is now sleeping with a horse's head.
  2. I'm going to take a bit more of a sinister approach. You shouldn't do anything to help him get it back. He should deal with the consequences. That's harsh, I know, but I guarantee he won't fall for it again.
  3. Sorry I thought it was pretty obvious we were talking about non-Runescape music. Just me then.
  4. ^ Perhaps you should go back and read the thread again.
  5. Yeah and we all know Jesus was accustomed to the odd glass of wine. It's Methodists that don't drink, isn't it?
  6. That's a good one. I can imagine going through that passage under the church listening to Personal Jesus =P
  7. Oh man, the intro's to Robot Rock and Human After All by Daft Punk too, how could I forget! :o
  8. Clan support: The only thing that can save Runescape.
  9. If you're looking for information I can think of countless many people you'd be better off with than those two. This brick wall, for instance.
  10. Runescape is a far more "Plug n play" kind of game, whereas Wow requires "Installation" (I'm using metaphors, people!). Just expect that of the proffessions and items the two games share, WoW's going to be more immersive. So if you like the idea of the whole mistique of MMORPG games, their 'realism' in a sense and a feeling of proper role playing I'd go with WoW. If you want some quick, hack n slash fun (Which many people do) then I'd just stick to Runescape. You'll probably get bored with it earlier, but then you probably would have saved over $100 :P
  11. ^ Well said, especially on the Easter, Christmas bit being recognised as a universal holiday as well as a religious event.
  12. yeah, but someone with enough will power could break through the fire wall, and antivirus stuff, and still get into your account. i think that this is a good idea. Hold on, you're trying to tell me that everyone's account is stored on their PC and not Jagex's servers?
  13. Picking more contempory artists, Eminem (before he jumped the shark) and definately Kanye West I'd put forward and I don't particularly like rap :)

    Lost

^ Yeah, different countries are up to different points. You'd need to make an obvious spoiler warning and what country you're discussing. I.E: 'Lost' (USA) Discussion - Spoilers inside!
  15. When they don't mean the things at all and just do it to jump on the political bandwagon for popularity, that's why people hate Greenday so much.
  16. Christ, how many passwords do you people need? If you had a half decent firewall and antivirus and didn't fall for pathetic scams, people wouldn't even need a bank pin, never mind an 'account pin'
  17. I think one of the reasons it hasn't happened is due to who works in the company. My only guess is, and I stress it's a guess, that Jagex doesn't have any Jews, Muslims etc, or not a significant number, in their production team. Therefore, if they were to create these holidays, they'd be largely guessing as to what they truely entail as they are not part of the culture. This could cause them to be vague or inadvertendly come across as offensive, despite their good intentions. To summarise, it could cause more problems, but that's only one scenario. Plus, the way England is now is just super politically correct, it's ridiculous. For example, over christmas, christmas lights, in some county's councils, were proposed to be changed to 'festive lights'. In some ASDA stores, checkout cashiers weren't allowed to say merry christmas, instead they had to say seasons greetings. The reason? Supposedly, people of different cultures and ethnicity would be offended, yet there has not been one reported case of any Muslim leader, Jewish follower etc. reporting oppression and religious insult over christmas. It's ridiculous, people say they're protecting ethnic minorities, who don't want protecting from it at all as they see no harm in it, nor do I, as a white caucasian, take offence to Ramadan, Hannukah or anything like that. Gone a bit off topic, haven't I? I'll end here.
  18. I'd hope that, if it ever happens that is, clan support will have its own clanlist, like a friendlist, to see which members are online.
  19. Yep Chicken sent the pic to them in a letter and I guess they decided to use it. Ah good good. Just wouldn't suprise me if they hadn't :P
  20. Who or what is Turi-Z? And what has s/he got to do with Runescape?
  21. Could we see some of your work?
  22. You have to be the most ignorant person I've ever met.
  23. It's called having a discussion. Besides, you asked whether people liked them or not.
  24. You haven't exactly...thought this through, have you?
  25. Yeah, whoever did it definately won the custom rank competition, I remember that when TIF re-opened. Did uh...Jagex get permission to use that, you think?
