I'm glad a lot of you share that opinion of the McCann case, as do I. I truly hope the best for the girl (although, let's be realistic, she's probably dead, or her life is so messed up now she'd be better off dead). However, the parents, I have absolutely no time for. Every day they're whoring to the media, there's no other way to describe it. Other members of the family are getting in on the act. They've left the country to 'raise awareness' elsewhere...sorry, but does this sound like the normal behaviour of parents in this situation. Obviously, it's very difficult to comprehend what that 'normal' behaviour is, but leaving the country and all this media work (there is an absolute TON, with a nice hefty lump of sum to show for it) is very strange to me. This, of course, is after the parents leave her alone in a hotel, with no babysitting or room watching service, which the hotel provides, leave the patio unlocked and have dinner something like 300 yards away. Victims? Give me a break. The only victim is the poor girl, who's life dares worth thinking about, and being brought up by reckless, attention seeking parents. I truly, truly, hope the best for the girl, but the rest of the 'family' get no sympathy from me at all.
