  1. Master merchant d00k said 3-4k THATS THE PRICE !!
  2. Ahh, I thought I'd let everyone know since I didn't see any threads about it. And of course vent a little :x BTW, any other good alching spots that make the task less boring? Why not trying making alching productive and stand at the nature chest , steal a nature rune every 5th or so alch , standing in the same spot alching endlessly has ALWAYS been counter-productive and useless :P
  3. personally , i would dump the beta version of HotSpot and just install the Java 2 Standard http://java.sun.com/j2se/downloads/
  4. I'll give you the best advice of all Don't advertise on this forum! (I'll be nice and not mention that a smart webdesigner would never make his default page contain a 4.8mb mp3 file  )
  5. I know EXACTLY what happened , and i can tell you EXACTLY how to fix it , but DO NOT , DO NOT attempt this if you are a complete novice user. from what I'm guessing you are recieving a message like so If so , continue on , if not , SPECIFY THE ERROR MESSAGE. This problem is caused upon power loss on systems that have "write caching" enabled for thier primary hard drive (very common for laptops as people allow their batteries to die) , what happens is windows is not able to save its current config to the disk due to the power loss. But on to your solution. You will need : Your Windows XP disk Your laptops Administrator password Insert your windows disk into your CD/DVD drive and boot the laptop , FORCE IT TO LOAD WINDOWS SETUP , you may have to set the CD to the primary boot drive in the systems BIOS , if you are unsure as to how to do this , post back and i will post steps as I also have a dell laptop and the BIOS screens are ALL the same. When you get the the first screen of the Windows XP setup , Press R to choose the repair option. Type the administrator password when prompted and wait . the recovery console can take many minutes to fully load . You will be at a C:\> prompt when it is complete type this exactly chkdsk /r and press enter This will also take quite some time to complete. when it completes and you are back to a C:\> prompt , type exit and press enter to restart your computer. Windows should now boot normally with none of your files or configuration lost(except for some settings you may have changed before the power loss). If the computer still does not boot properly , follow all steps outlined above , except instead of typing "chkdsk /r" type "fixboot" I have also had this same problem with my dell laptop during a power outage and it was quite annoying but an hours work saved all my files from a restore/format . A good idea when its back up and running is to disable write caching for the main boot drive , you may lose a very unnoticable amount of drive performance , but it saves the headache. Let me know how it goes, I enjoy feedback on any advice I give :) Albosky
  6. What exactly do you mean "you download the exe" ? are you downloading the setup file(msgr7us) from yahoos site or asking a friend to just send you the executable?
  7. Counterstrike must have been set to a lower resolution then your desktop , sometimes when exiting OpenGL or Direct3D games , your video driver will fail to reset itself back to your prefered resolution. Right Click on your desktop and click properties. Click the "Settings" tab along the top. Half way down the screen on the left you will see a slider bar labeled "Screen resolution" , slide it back the the appropriate resolution you desire and click apply :)
  8. How bout you just stay off this particular forum from now on ?

Cant be accomplished with a vanilla phpbb setup , you'll have to install a MOD that enables more empowered usergroups. Check http://www.phpbb.com , with the hundreds of MODS available , I'm sure its there somewhere.
  10. maybe not , if you decide to buy a retailed box Intel cpu , the heatsink will already be attached to the cpu and has a pad pre-installed (at least they used to) , but yes , ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS heheh :P
  11. regardless of what heatsink and fan you use , ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS apply some form of thermal transfer material (paste or pad, preferably paste) between the heatsink and cpu's core!!! ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!! Any surface variations could create air pockets which become VERY VERY hot. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS USE A THERMAL TRANSFER MATERIAL!! hopefully I got my point across.
  12. Not even on Windows update? ;) Automatic Updates service :) If WinXP was able to sucessfully remove IE like Win9x was , i would have done it :)
  13. "very quickly" , erm , thats a joke , "more rapidly" would have been a better way to state it.
  14. Personally i ALWAYS believed , that the stairs from the specters to the gargoyles , and later the chain up to nechs from mages should require 75 slayer. Just the stairs and chain , no additional doors or requirements between the 3 types of NPC. The beggars didnt really bother me when i was at demons , it just didnt make sense to me for anyone without 75+ slayer to be "allowed" on the third floor.
  15. Unfortunately , i have to suggest you seek help on this matter elsewhere. Tip.It does not support discussion , suggestions , or links regarding and peer to peer filesharing applications. Albosky Tip.It Moderator
  16. Then you've probably either installed MSN 8 beta, or MSN plus or some other extension. I've only got MSN 7.5, and the hotmail email check, and the msn spaces links in the UI still open in IE. Which sucks. Im using MSN 7.5 (build 7.5.0322) , Dont even know what MSN plus is or does , so it's not installed hehe, and everything and anything I click in MSN's interface , search bar on the main window , my msn space button , and all help and troubleshooting links open in firefox. Maybe it has something to do with hotmail being your .NET provider , or different services running on our systems , but i can assure you , IE does NOT open on my computer , ever :P
  17. 100% incorrect , all links I click in MSN conversation windows open a new tab in the firefox window I currently have open, or opens a new firefox window , if i dont have one opened already :) Microsoft had its fill of being sued for monopolistic actions , they CANT do things like that anymore :P
  18. Thats why the forums have DESCRIPTIONS UNDER THEM , LIKE ZOMGS
  19. In Firefox , open Tools > Options on the "general" tab you will see "firefox should check to see if it is the default browser when starting. Click "Check now" and enable it from there :) On a side note , if you do run internet explorer and it also asks if it should be the default browser , go to IE's Tools >options menu , go to the "programs" tab and uncheck the similar box on the very bottom:) Hope that helps
  20. The staff is aware and the problem has been brought to the attention of Silverion , hopefully we can get it resolved soon :)
  21. Yep, being a pmod I probably see alot of the worse side of the game.. however even so, I think its time to move on. hehe , Sunli is also a pmod , she see what you see :D
  22. Is file and printer sharing enabled for the network adapter ? if so , have you created a new network share for the printer ?
  23. it does work... wow. Does it split the total xp you get from the damage you inflict? Or is there some additional xp? Just like training ranged on "longrange" 2 goes to mage , 2 goes to defense , 1.33 goes to hitpoints :)
