  1. I still prefer my square over any other shield , only thing obsidian offers is better ranged defense ...whoopty doo :P
  2. Personally I would suggest running a copy of Spybot S&D , AdAware , or smething similar first , the file he mentioned above seems to be tied into viewing investment graphs through MSMoney(which is installed on your system) I also suggest that when you finish off this problem , you look into installing Service pack 2 for WinXP

really cant say , I've seen links to these so called block checkers but have never bothered trying them , as i dont much care who has blocked me on msn. If it physically interacts with your installed copy of MSN , then I'd be weary of it and avoid its usage :)
  4. this problem still exists after 1 month and 4 days ?
  5. I just made my first run to him this morning , didnt experience the bug , but i did experience a hell of a beatdown , the safespot in the guide doesnt seem to function anymore :( but on topic , thankfully they admitted it , since they denied it a week ago
  6. do people still do this? i have 5 stones sitting in my bank and only 1 glory (died a couple times and i refuse to pay for a new 1 just yet) i know there was some1 who mentioned in his sig he did it, can any1 tell me who it is I do glory for supply trades anytime :)
  7. Personally , i find it faster to teleport to Lumbridge , hop the fence into the swamps and run to the Lost City :P
  8. Apparentally I'll have to make my quite obvious sarcasm a bit more easily recognizable by users lol
  9. Lmao , there WAS NO BUG McGruff , dont ya remember ?
  10. Yes ok, but i think that programming time could be used to do something more interesting and useful for the gameplay. Easy exp is always welcome, yes, but that's not what i look for in a quest. ^^ what teejay said  btw , any progress :D
  11. you can do the quest in the time it would take to get 7k agility experience , so its worth it :) no guide needed to be honest , theres 100% instructions included from the Pirate you help and you can ask him to repeat anything/anytime :)
  12. theres a cutscene between a few NPC's at end , thats why my chat is cleared :) also , Bill Teach gives you 10k when you talk to him again :)
  13. DAM , BEAT BY A GUY ON MY FRIENDS LIST LOL
  14. Now that the poster edited out the line that caused all the confusion , why dont we get back onto the topic he intended ? :P

Its not technically a virus , its known as "spam-ware" most adware scanners will detect and remove it for you . All it does basically is spam a link when you send a message to somebody :P
  16. Safe mode . get rid of it there
  17. Actually , be weary of this "scam" , alot of these useless axe head thieves watch where your head lands and they stand on the spot , thier white dot cancels out the red dot on the minimap making it quite hard to find your axe head. the "scam" started when people were trying to score a dragon axe the cheap way
  18. Look pretty clean actually the Missing file for MSN mentioned above is a common problem for anyone with MSN , reinstall wont replace the file , neither will a install>repair , i think microsoft forgot to take out a piece of code on a previous update , you can remove it , wont hurt a thing as for the java "button" entry , that is what makes "java Sun Console" appear in the tools menu of IE . The one entry i would be actually concerned about is C:\WINDOWS\stsystra.e3e (CAUTION - executable file) stsystra is normally a process for Sigmatel Audio chips(onboard) also known as - SigmaTel C-Major Audio Tray App As you are running a Dell (so it seems from your log) , you may just have that chip and if you are not having any problems , leave it , just keep in mind that some spyware has been known to disguise itself as stsystra and dump itself into WINDOWS or WINDOWS\system32 Just a note in the future though , place HJT in a folder other then a Temp :)
  19. As a 99 thief , I'll say , theres really no way to thieve enough to compare to the various other ways of making money nowadays. the 99 is just nice for the skill total , you might as well finish it up since you are 97 anyways , but dont expect those 2 levels to change anything for the better. and yes , the ones with 30M exp in thieving DID do it for the experience , some people just like high rankings , and herbaman did it to be first to 100M in a skill (which he achieved).
  20. I would assume the werewolf course has a higher requirement as it yield just as good experience for "no risk" I have timed them both , they are basically equal if you know HOW to do the werewolf course properly. if you READ what the wolf says at the beginning of the course you would notice he says that its for the strong and LIGHTFOOTED (or something along that lines) I go to the werewolf course wearing nothing but lightness boots , glory and carrying 10 sharks , I weight 1kg when i get there , i fail the Zip Line once every 50 or so laps and its never for the full 30 damage it can hit up to , always below 15 and i dont need to bank for food for 3-4 HOURS (NO EXXAGERATION - I grossed 135k experience in a single trip) , Dont be a fatty and you wont fall off the death slide :) But also , NEVER LET YOUR HP GET BELOW 30 !!!! , its NOT percentage based damage like the wilderness obstacles are because its the ONLY obstacle you can fail at werewolf.

normally , no asx files would be the one to be most weary of as its just a simple text file that directs your computer to load media from a server. they can also be formatted to include advertisements , banners, images, icons , and watermarks under the media. But as always , only load any files from sites that are well established and trusted :)

  23. I'd love to buy every ranaar you grow for 2k each  they sell for more like 5-6k to be honest But I dont think anyone yeilds an average of 10-15 each harvest , nor any harvest at all
  24. You couldnt count the number of times I have reported that guy in game. We were just about always in the same place when i was going for 99 smithing in the early half of last year. Guess it didnt work :(
