On a laptop , you wont get anymore then 128mb shared video memory , which really isnt that bad , but remember that onboard video is always a scaled down chipset. The laptop you posted isnt really bad , just considering buying additional memory to install in it :)

Unfortunately as Runescape grows in numbers , the percentage of immature players does as well , and being the oldest and biggest fansite , we inherit the filth. My job shouldnt even be necessary :(

the best advice I could actually offer you as I have not attempted making any videos , is browse the graveyard forum and PM one or two of the users that post their own videos and ask their advice :)

If Im not mistaken , the Inspiron 8600 should have at least a 1.8GHz Intel processor , if not 2GHz+ , looks like Intel SpeedStepping is your problem , its throttling your CPU . in regards to video , theres no upgrading it , nor just its onboard memory , laptops from Dell are not designed for gaming :(

Just about every webbrowser has its own built in PopUp blocker nowadays IE, opera, Firefox I know the google toolbar also includes one , as does the yahoo toolbar , just search google for popup blocker , you'll find plenty :)

It's ALWAYS been 60xp per tear and qp is time in cave , Paul himself confimed that on official forums many moons ago and my best was 112 with 148qp , but now with 196(havent done since 198) I barely break 80-90

dont stand close enough for them to use their melee attack , the 360's can attack with mage or melee , the 702 uses all 3 :P

Higher hits with low defense , npcs like ogres , chickens are a bit extreme as you would spend all that extra time clicking for a maximum of 12 experience per hit :)

Seriously , oddfeary has been quite polite in asking that you not ruin his thread with these useless posts , dont force me to clean out the thread or even worse , get rid of it completely , its actually quite interesting to read some of the intelligent answers (even though i know all the answers to them :P )

Unfortunately internet explorer is quite annoying when it comes to which window a link opens in . it's SUPPOSED to be the last opened , but it never seems to work that way :P I would personally suggest installing firefox and setting it as your default browser , but some people dont want to install new browsers . In which case i would suggest playing runescape through the official runescape client found on the downloads page of runescape.com . Its 1 file , nothing to actually install , and requires nothing but internet explorer to be installed , plus links will never be directed into it :)

82 thieving , yanille door to agility dungeon , I bank about 300 herbs an hour killing chaos druids because the door makes the bank 2 clicks away :) huh ?

It was most likely a memory read/write error if it was a one time thing. I wouldnt much worry about it if it has stopped occuring. Computers lag , files crash :(
