  1. 18 is The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
  2. Anybody know when/if re-runs of the Original ones comes on? I have watched an hour or two of The Next Generation after school for the past few years and really like them.
  3. I thought you couldn't do anything but wait till 'fish on' came. But when the hook goes down you just need to pull in your controller and start reeling. :o The desert temple was easy btw. I would've thought it was going to be a lot harder than the first three temples. But I got trough it without any problems, went a little bit too smooth. Boss was fun though! Exactly what I thought. That's how it was in OOT so I just assumed it would be the same.
  4. Yeah. Bubsa's back, so why can't they get this started again? I loved the idea, and would of entered if I were to be able to sing. Just try it out. It's an anonymous online singing contest. What's the worst that can happen? I don't know if Bubsa's even here anymore. He came back, seemed pretty disgusted with what happened, and hasen't been back since.

I've always saw immortality and full immunity going along with each other. This does mean you can check out the bottom of the sea, but how are you going to get there? We could go on forever about these different scenarios. I would prefer the ability to look forward into time instead. I'm really just curious to see what's going to happen to the human race instead. I don't want to outlive my kids. If I had to choose though I would just take the normal lifespan.
  6. Full Metal Alchemist hands down. My friend got me into it a few months back and let me borrow all 51 episodes. I got the movie for hanukkah and finished the whole series a few days ago. One of the things I really liked about it was how instead of the whole "bad guy of the season" sort of style, it felt like one long adventure.
  7. I played the multiplayer at a friends house the other day. It was ok. I didn't really like how easy it was to die. Although that was is more realistic, I don't believe it's more fun. The tanks were pretty cool but the bikes were hard as hell the drive. I didn't play it much. Maybe I'll warm up to it later.
  8. Well you contributed with an intelligent response, so no harm no foul. Who dosen't want everyone else believing what they do?

Speaking of which, did anybody actually beat all those challenges on perfect dark? I remember I was a few off but they got incredibly hard.
  10. I actually thought that one was pretty straightfoward. Like the OOT one with less thinking about which switch to hit. I hated the forest one (in the dark world where you get the fire rod) I could never figure out which hole to drop in to.
  11. I don't understand where you're going with the "saying eating meat isn't right is analagous to saying that living isn't right - because living's a natural part of our process. " You say that you haven't said whether or not eating meat is natural. So how is it analagous to saying living isn't right since living is a natural part of our process? I not really debating this (at least not yet) since I see nothing to debate. I'm just trying to get a grip on what you're saying.
  12. Imagine having a bar mitzvah when you're 13 with roughly 100 people in the audience. Voice changing levels while singing prayers for an hour ftl.
  13. I can't comprehend that logic. I could further extend it to say, eating is natural - but just because eating is natural, it doesn't mean it's right ... So we shouldn't eat? Or going to toilet - just because it's natural, doesn't mean it's right - so we shouldn't go to the toilet? They're natural processes, without them, we couldn't survive. However, you might then draw the point that we can survive without eating meat. To which I would reply: true. But saying eating meat isn't right is analagous to saying that living isn't right - because living's a natural part of our process. Think about it for a second. I respect all vegetarians, vegans and carnivores alike, and I guess what it boils down then is your personal morals - which are inherently subjective rather than objective. What makes something natural? Since I was raised a vegetarian does that make eating meat not natural for me? I survive without meat so that makes eating meat not a natural process.
  14. The Dead was the first "major concert" that I went to.

Desperate Guys- The Faint Glass Danse World- The Faint Pretty much any The Faint song is good for a party mix as long as you don't have too many.
  16. http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/file ... _speed.txt Saw this awhile back. Neat idea. I might try it out.
  17. I think it's one of the better tests out there. Some of the "political affiliation" tests I've seen have just awful confusing questions. For the Michaelangelo one, just subtract 7%. I don't count it as a question.
  18. I pretty much hate every water temple in zelda games since OOT.
  19. Exactly what I got. I answered the question by my own opinion, not because I believe in "objective art standards."
  20. I thought all of the air stuff was awsome in San Andreas. I really liked base jumping off the empire state building.
  21. The things I sort of hate (but also love) is that, in zelda games, sometimes the simplest thing takes half an hour. I feel like I'm dumber than a 5 year old since I didn't look upwards to see the next step.
  22. I don't think we have enough pictures of slaughtered animals in this thread. Anybody else want to post some good funny ones?
  23. craigslist sort of stinks. We tried to sell some stuff on it. The problem is, people can still negotiate the price when. If you can handle that it's a good venue but I would recommend an auction site instead.
  24. I would like to add another reason to that list of why people become/stay vegetarian: It's better for the environment- Some vegetarians are concerned about the ecological impact that mass animal production and containment has on the air, water, and land. Intensive agriculture is more about producing feed for livestock, which is devastating to the environment, energy inefficient, and not ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åsustainable̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  25. Nope. It's the same sort of short "AH" kind of noise (when jumping) that he has had in the others. The other characters have the same sort of thing. I sort of like it that way. Link never talks and I think if they changed that it wouldn't make it a LOZ game. It would be neat to see it though.
