Why would hetrosexual people want to get married? Two reasons why people get married: 1. To finally commit and move to the next step in their relationship and 2. The money (taxes plus financial complication if living together) I can understand the first one but lately I've been thinking that a lot of the controversy these days is over number 2. And it's starting to disgust me.

The thing about dubbed anime is that since you heard the japanese voice first, any different voice given to the character sounds off, especially since that different voice is in a different language. That's why I prefer Ed's dubbed voice over the Japanese one- I heard him talk in English first. But dear lord, did anyone here Renj's dubbed voice? I thought Naruto was bad.. but geez. I get what you're saying. I heard Ed's voice in Japanese first. I watched through the entire 51 episodes in Japanese then tried to watch the movie in English. I couldn't do it.

I really liked it. I thought was a really well done horror movie. I also liked Dog Soldiers by Neil Marshall.

I learned today that we have a Calculus class that merely has an adviser. They do all the learning on their own.

I got an e-mail from some company wanting to pay me to be a video game tester for $100 an hour. Guess where that went.

Dawn of the Dead's pretty entertaining. I've only seen the first resident evil and it was above average. Not what I would call a great movie but it had some cool parts.

I wouldn't want it in all the games I play but I like the cell-shaded look sometimes in games such as Paper Mario- The Thousand Year Door and Ultimate Spider-Man.

That one mission in SA where you had to blow up the messengers using the plane? I almost killed myself.

I'd recommend the first two, but I have Super Monkey Ball and it's just a terrible game in my opinion. There are a lot of multiplayer games, but 90% of them are really bad and seem quickly put together. I honestly don't think movement should have been done with the wiimote in this game, for the single player mode. That or they just didn't refine it enough, or maybe I'm just not good at the game. Everyone I know who bought it didn't like it though, for the control reasons. Every minute I just frustratingly think, "WHY CAN'T I JUST USE A JOYSTICK! I WOULDN'T FALL EVERY TIME ON THIS SIMPLE TURN IF I HAD A JOYSTICK!" I had so much more room control-wise to maneuver around in the older versions. I mean you can't even stay still. I'm not saying it's hard to stay still. I'm saying it's impossible. If you have to wait for a door to open, you have to wiggle around with the camera flying in all directions with you reorienting your remote based on the camera just to not die in the chaos that is trying to stay still and not fall off while waiting for a door to open. Wheeeeeew. Glad I got that out of my system. :) I played the N64 super money ball a few years back and I remember haveing the exact same reaction as you. I hated it (possibly because I was bad) and quit playing. It seems like with SMB it's either a love or hate relationship.

Can we lay off naming obviously popular bands in this thread? Also, are we talking about local bands or semi-popular bands that most people have never heard of.

This is great. I got to 2000 and realized how long it is. I'm not sure if these are real but I'll finish it later.

Now that I think about it...... Just rent it. Try it out for yourself. A bunch of recommendations from miscellaneous people over the internet won't help out much.

I played the demo at a friends house and actually liked it a lot. It seemed pretty realistic and the only problem I had was with the mobility. I would still go for gears of war though.

I've read Batman: Year one and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller and would highly recommend both of these to anyone interested in a good story. I'm going to try and read 300 before the movie comes out.
