  1. I've been a vegetarian since I had the thought "this hot dog sure is slimy" and although my reasons for sticking to it have changed I haven't really touched meat since then. I can't offer any sort of comparison since I stopped eating meat at such a young age but I will say that I am and have always been a healthy, strong, and virile male. As to vegetarians being annoying... I find many hardcore "live for the cause" organizations annoying. You just have to take information from PETA with a grain of salt. On top of that, I find that alot of what kids (9-15) say annoying*. *including things said and done by myself at that age
  2. Some of the jokes are aimed towards adults. Maybe it's just me but I find the fact that spongebob just loves his job a hilarious satire.
  3. Yeah, except for these people actually had talent. You don't call an old man stripping talent? What planet are you from?
  4. Another jeans and t-shirt kid here. Every once in awhile I see a cool t-shirt and i'll keep it. I'm up to about 8 now which is awsome because that means I don't have to do a wash every week.
  5. Not my style but it does have a professional sound while staying edgy. I like it.
  6. Just work on other things. That's what I always did in BS classes that were required by the school. For example, in my junior English AP class I got a really easy teacher so for the entire year I placed a binder from my stomach to over the desk and read books behind my "shield."
  7. It would have to be control over time. I will be the smoothest operator you'll ever see. I'll just do-over every akward moment.
  8. It would be pretty rare for a transexual to be on this board wouldn't it? In fact, I wonder how many are actually out there. When I think about it the only places I see or hear about them are in the media. I would think many would keep the details of their lives private so it' near immposible to tell.
  9. These last ten days have been eye-opening and just awsome. It's been great seeing 10 quality threads in a row. Know that we all appreciate the time you've put into it. It's getting pretty late so i'm going to let this last one sink in and post more on it later.
  10. Could you have made Tom-Sarah-Jim story any sadder? A little cheesy but still I have to admit I kept reading.
  11. Maybe not my dream band but I would like to see what these guys can come up with. Vocals- Jill Andrews/ Elliott Smith (The Everybody Fields/ Solo Artist) Rhythm Guitar- Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) Lead Guitar-Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) Keyboard- Elliott Smith Bass- Sam Quinn (TEF) Percussion- Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa)
  12. Keira Knightley, Kirsten Dunst
  13. A little off topic but reading this thread reminded me of The Poisonwood Bible. Great book and has some spurts of malaria in it. I've always known that malaria was one of if not the worlds most deadly disease. It's easy to see why people don't seem to care given that, how many people do you know with malaria?
  14. Another good one. I've been thinking of getting a digital camera lately and this is sort of tilting me over to getting a canon.
  15. Someone jealous?
  16. Looks like a pretty crazy future.
  17. It purely opens up our options. There are many routes to being what you want to be these days. IMO going to school just makes it easier.
  18. Man what a great start off. Remember to tell us what happens.
  19. I saw a movie on t.v awhile ago on this. Such a sickening subject. The movie followed a young boy, a young girl, and two newly kidnapped 18-20ish year olds. At the end of the movie it said that most of the clientele were from the U.S. I don't understand you being annoyed by the animal rights protesters though. Who says they're not also trying to raise awareness for this cause also? There are many injustices in this world and people try to combat them in whatever way they think works.
  20. Sounds great. I'm glad she's feeling better and you could make a difference.
  21. Great idea. You may be one of the most interesting posters on tip.it.
  22. I've seen "the legend of old greg" on youtube. It's pretty weird but oddly funny.
  23. Ocean's 11 was really good and I liked 12 too. I'm also going to have to agree with the original planet on the apes. From Dusk till Dawn- who saw those vampire coming? Vanilla Sky was alright although I saw it coming se7en- What's in the Box! Matchstick Men- don't want to ruin this one Identity- finding out who the murderer was Secret Window- same sort of thing as Identity Fight Club- most people know this one Edit: forgot some of my favorite psychological thrillers- memento, the prestige, the machinist, and batman: begins. i was thinking about christian bale.
  24. Happy Birthday!
  25. A little over the top but overall I thought it was good.
