  1. I sold a Star of Moon item to the shop    Meh, im getting better at this. I have full bronze (level 14 now) doing a plethora of quests. It is worth it to join a random party, even if you are on separate quests. The XP sharing is FAST.
  2. Crescent Spear 36-49 attack (including character stats) Full copper armor (need 13 to go full bronze) I have the base spear special attack at its second level and a healing spell. And I have like 20k cash :P.
  3. What I would like to know is...what should I train on to quickly and easily get from level 8-10? I really want a horse to explore the other cities. Im on weasels and big ghosts now...I should be killing grave monsters but they are way too strong for me (like...I have to completely heal HP and MP after one of them.)
  4. It's pretty decent. I love the dialogue options: "Start to Conversate; Stop to conversate". Classic. I have a level 6 swordsman/ranger working on getting to level 10 for a horse.

But can it handle Vista  I dont know...what are the system specs? I already know that I can buy Vista for 15 bucks the day it comes out thanks to my Uni's special relationship with Microsoft (heck, we get Ipods over $100 US cheaper!).

Finally, I've been waiting for this. I hate the XBox, and my PC can easily play the best game out there...Ya know...I have never even played Halo 2.
  7. Its all good, but since I was the only person to comment about auto messages on this thread, I felt the comment was directed at myself entirely. I hope that last statement wasn't directed at me either. Because I don't think I've ever sent a CS form asking them silly questions such as that. All of my CS/Bug report forms have been concerning legit matters. Not some silly, off the wall, question. If I were to ever have a stupid question (which I never do)... I would come ask it on the forums (that being here or on the main forums, if I had a membership at that time). It was not, but half the time people complain about CS taking a while to get back to them, its about dumb questions like that. And Sleets, for a guy who's been posting on a games forums for a while, I am sure you are completely innocent of geekiness. Hope you enjoyed your short tenure here.
  8. If making one complaint about it within maybe the past five months is a lot... then I'd like to know what your definition of the phrase "a little" means. Fact is, CS shouldn't be handled by automated messages, ever. If you don't have the man power you should either get the man power or not bother sending out lame automated messages. Its a real crappy way of saying "thanks for being a customer, we could give two cabbage about your problem". So yeah... don't defend them when they should have been working on getting more people the day RS2 was launched. Customer support is something that should be number one priority, yes... it should be even above game developement. Apparently you missed that point. :? And don't ever say I complain "a lot" about something when I don't. That is extremely annoying... I'm taking that comment a bit personal. I never had a problem with you, ever, so why you would exagerate something like that is beyond me. Forgive me...perhaps in my haste I just made a general statement with your name attached. I was going to reply to you but left that behind to make a general statement. I should have said "ya'll complain...". Personally, if you can think of a way to hire enough people to handle 1-3 million messages weekly and still turn a profit, I would be impressed. The automated messaging system means that they have recieved your message, noted it, and gave you a speedy response. If you have an odd enough problem, they will message you personally (Paul himself checked up on me in-game after a problem I had with the Fremmenik Trials the day of the quest opening). This works like almost every other major customer support system. You get an automated message for generated problems...and if you can't find your problem there, the system finds a CS rep for you. Unlike all these major companies, Jagex does not have branches all over the globe. Thier customer service is limited to 30 people. Just because you do not get an immediate response to "do dust devils drop chains like kalphite queen" probably means they are more interested in someone who has found themselves in a very bad situation that could affect thousands of players.
  9. Y2G...you complain about automated messages alot... There are currently 40 people in the Runescape Customer Support division. There are 6 million users (possibly 4 million messages a WEEK)...I would like to see you pen a response to each person. Sometimes it happens, most times it doesnt. When you call Bank of America to ask a question, do you get a voice the second you dial? No, you go through an automation process.
  10. And we keep bumping up this useless topic, why? Let it die a sad and lonely death, folks.
  11. Tattered naval jackets, maybe? I want more pirate gear! The two jackets we already have (Desert and Prince) just do not look piratey enough.
  12. Craven said that a completely different staff was working on the new game, so Runescape will most likely be unaffected.
  13. Regardless, we can all agree that the weapon needs a strong stab attack, and medium slash attack, right?

The reverse swastika was an Aryan sign of prosperity. Not Hindu, since they took over the Hindu :P. Sad that Hitler had to go and ruin it.
  15. Considering Jagex is located in Cambridge, you can assume I was using a play on words.
  16. *Primitive tribesman kill monkeys for practice, and illegal immigrants flock to the US to pick cabbage all day* Logic, wha? :P I'd really like it if it was fixed...would be deadly to rangers.
  17. Well, I've discussed it with some of you as well as various friends from in-game...has anyone noticed that the Rapier is almost useless because of the oddity of its stats? Now, it is confirmed that the Rapier is practically a clone of the rune scimitar...+7 stab, +45 slash or something along those lines... However, the attack styles menu shows that 3/4 of the attack styles are stab attacks?! In fact, any decent fencer knows that a rapier should be used for stabbing as its primary attack. This cripples the weapon, considering the only way to maximize your damage is to use the aggressive slash option. I have sent a bug report to Cambridge, so who knows? This could be fixed down the line, or nothing will come of it.
  18. Who is the idiot?
  19. Bake the Potato on a Range Add Butter Place tuna and sweetcorn in a bowl...im not sure if you need to cut anything so have a knife ready Place bowl of topping on buttered potato... Forgive me if it's vague, im just looking at the cooking manual in the RS client.
  20. Usually, I don't toast the peanut butter sandwhich, but I heat it up in a convection oven or microwave. The gooeyness is pure phantasmagoria.
  21. Usually with butter and a little bit of grape jelly. Unless its a grilled cheese sandwhich with pepperjack and American (and butter) to dip in a tomato soup...*dies of hunger*
  22. More formalwear! I hope the majority of these items are classy looking clothing, like the NPC's have. I struggle for uniqueness!
  23. I'm disappointed that there isn't a captain's outfit to go with the pirate hat from treasure trails. That's pirate crew clothes. The top is ugly, but the pants, boots, and bandana...along with the Rapier...are fueling my slow ascent from 38-40 farming right now :P.
  24. Lmao , there WAS NO BUG McGruff , dont ya remember ? Unless you are being sarcastic...Andrew Gower himself posted on the Official Boards that there was a bug, it was known, and would be patched in the newest update.
  25. That is, same as a Rune Scimmy. Question is...does it hit faster ? I don't think so. Being a rapier, I would assume it attacks as fast as a whip/dagger/scimitar. Its very nice and practical for the novelty kills, as my Rellekan Blade count is struggling to break 35 kills over level 90...having better stats for a novelty sword will be fun. Oh wait, I forgot that Jeppoz does not know what fun is... Yarr! *Gets the last few farming levels for Rum Deal*
