  1. MoveOn takes it too far by using libel and slander. Two acts that are not protected by the freedom of speech. And you would not be making such a big deal about this if Hillary Clinton insulted the Church, would you?
  2. Wrestle much? Good money.. No, I run way too much. The muscles in my legs make up 42% of my body mass. It's nice to have ridiculously attractive legs, but have a gut. So I am going to concentrate on upper body strength for a while. I want to drop the muscle in my legs because they are way too big. :( PS: Most wrestlers would be like 290-300 pounds of muscle. PPS: Reb, pull your pants up. :P PPSS: Geez, I am the heaviest guy in the thread. Boo! Ya'll are too skinny. Be sexy like Bubsa. There's a guy who is not buff, but looks hella sexy in a thong. PPPSS: I'm secure enough in my masculinity to post the above. Hellzbellz, I am looking in your direction.
  3. I am a very fit 230 pounds. I wish to drop some muscle and a good deal of fat to get down to 190, which is perfect for my age/height.
  4. Because people couldn't handle the random pictures thread.

I dated in high school. It didn't last long outside of high school. She did not want to continue with college, and I did. 400 miles makes for a bad relationship. I was trying to save him trouble. (By this sentence, I was referring to the original poster) And dating =/= friends. I had tons of fun in high school going to concerts, out with friends, etc. But he shouldn't feel absolutely obligated to have a girlfriend just because many other people have them.

Save the dating for college. Dating in high school is very unstable and mostly pointless. The only people who "marry their high school sweethearts" are incredibly dumb by eliminating their going to a good college just to stay with their "sweetie" or are people who don't even bother going to college. Long distance relationships suck. Concentrate on your grades and making friends. That is what high school is about.

Technology and civilization are only signs of man's stupidity. Without man, the rest of nature would just adapt and conquer. Only true desperation can persevere. Think about Egypt. All the palaces and dwellings from the Pharaohs have crumbled to dust. What do we have left of them? The pyramids. Ancient tombs built in desperation to give the builder eternal life. Our modern world will crumble without us. In similarity to the above example, look at Pripyat, Russia. This is the main settlement near the Cherynoble reactors. In 1985, it was the pinnacle of modern engineering. Now, after only 20 years the town is being reclaimed by nature, with the "great works of man" crumbling away. In 600 years, the only thing left of man's existance there will be the concrete Sarcophagus, ironically built in desperation. And what the heck did I just post. I like phased out and hit the reply button, :P. I'll leave it just because it's kinda deep.
  8. That's just OCEA manipulating the prices to make the US look bad so they can screw us on oil prices.
  9. Unfortunately, Iraq is not a total war (well, I guess that's pretty fortunate) so there is not a huge demand for wartime production. They are not stopping making fords to produce aircraft, for example. In addition, most military equipment today is machine manufactured, so there are much fewer jobs available than if they were made by hand.
  10. You win nothing, as being crazy is what it is all about.
  11. Die Hard with a Vengeance was my favorite, just because it was gripping and kept you on your toes the entire time. I like the cerebral cop attitude of McLeane. Or however the heck you spell that.
  12. The opening scene from Patton strikes me as one of the most profound film scenes ever.
  13. Don't take it personally. I was calling out your economics teacher, not you. Glad you understand his folly.
  14. You misunderstood me. All the rules you mentioned are in effect at most schools, and I agree with them. I was just explaining your first one and why it is a good rule.
  15. Err...speaking as a teacher, those are all pretty good rules. The only one I come close to having a problem with is the first one, but that's because I am too used to college where you could contest the teacher in public. However, in a school of your level, you shouldn't do so, because it will negatively influence the learning environment. You should tell the teacher after class, and they can reteach the wrong information at the next class meeting.
  16. Your economics teacher is an idiot. In order for a plan to truly change the economy, it takes years. Clinton was riding on the results of Reagan. And the government would NEVER take away the income tax. It seems to me that your economics teacher just wants you to hear what he wants you to hear.
  17. I am obsessed with spatial orientation. All chairs/desks/other items must be arranged parallel and perpendicular to one another in relation to the room. This seems to be a fairly common OCD.
  18. Not really. If we were in a time of peace, they would be training at a military base somewhere. And factories work better without workers, they have robots to do those things now. Not many jobs left in factories. And don't expect something like the 30's to ever happen again. If the US offered millions of jobs to improve the system, it would cost the Fed lots of money, and all the "unemployed" white men would not want to work in menial construction jobs. However, illegal immigrants would and we would have a renewed influx of illegal immigration.
  19. Not since Vietnam. Iraq isn't taking anyone out of the workforce, the military is fully career soldiers at the moment.
  20. Please cut the sexual harassment. I can say without doubt that Suziangel would find these comments embarrassing and uncomfortable, which makes your behavior deplorable.
  21. Haha, Reb. Got me there. But that's a pointless off-topic issue :P. But ya gotta admit. Humans should be separate. After all, the fact that we are here posting about it: A) Means that we are more advanced and therefore are special B) The animals are more advanced and do not waste their time in such pursuits, making humans special....ed.
  22. Err, obviously you didn't take AP Biology, and even when I took Bio I, theory of evolution was MENTIONED. And of course they wouldn't teach man from monkey because in the theory of evolution, man didn't evolve from monkeys. Educate your self. Please. And don't reply with an off topic statement. Did I not say in my post that evolution is tought, just not Darwinism. And forgive my gross generalization (the man-from-monkey). You seem to think you can make them for my faith, I will repay the favor. Evolution does not necessarily mean atheism. Many educated Christians believe in evolution. Just not what Darwin cooked up. And Texas teaches us evolution in plants, humans, animals, etc. The origins of man are what are not taught. PS: I took Pre-AP biology, as Biology was only offered to Freshmen in our district, and Freshmen can not take full AP courses (only Juniors and Seniors can, and they would be taking Chemistry or Physics).
  23. I have no concern for public restrooms or showers. There are rules for men in such situations, which is to keep your eyes on your own business. In the shower situation, just buck up and be confident. Chances are nobody is going to be looking directly at you. Don't be afraid to catch a glimpse of someone, because they don't have anything you don't. As for public troughs, eyes forward lads!
  24. I am a Texas native. Your theory is flawed because by Texas Law neither Creationism or Darwinism is taught in public schools. Both are mentioned, but no detail is given. Any evolution is strictly biological adaptation, not man-from-monkey.
  25. Actually, it is. Salt content is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration.
