For the hard drive, you should not go green, you're going to lose a bit of performance just because of that. Go for a normal caviar, and take a hard drive that has 32MB cache, much faster than 16MB cache. Also to Nadril, I thought AMD was better for gaming and Intel better for processing, or is that just in quad cores?

Found your problem (along with other lines, but this one looks like it's the most urgent right now). This missing file O23 - Service: Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework (WudfSvc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost[Caution: Executable File] (file missing) shouldn't be missing. Maybe a repair with the win xp cd would work.

I resolved that problem on my parent's computer by changing the boot order.

To make sure they are updated, you can go to the Java website and install the latest java. As for the card drivers, you find what card you have (start-run-dxdiag-display) and go to your card manufacturer's website and find the card you have to download the driver. To me, if you don't know where to check, it probably is out of date.

How much did you pay for your phone though? I know some countries, mainly ones in Europe have you buy out your phone in turn allowing you to have an overall cheaper monthly rate. From my understanding the 2 year contract on american carriers is because it is set up for us to basically pay off the phone in those 2 years adding to our monthly rates. If I am mistaken in anyway feel free to correct me as I'm not 100% on this. I don't know about the Europe one, but I did take a 2 year contract and paid around $30 for the phone.

Wow, that's quite expensive in the US. I pay $31 CAD a month for my Telus cell and I can choose 5 numbers to have unlimited, and my brother pays about the same and has unlimited texting on his Bell/Aliant Cell.

I don't know if it would work, but you could extract the .iso using imgburn and then use a utility like daemon tools to fake a drive and mount a .iso on it. You'd be playing the game from the hard drive.

If your antivirus stops after a couple of minutes, I would advise you to change your antivirus. Preferably for a good antivirus such as Kaspersky (pay), NOD32 (pay) or Avira antivir (free version). Usually though, if it stops, the problem might be deeper.

If you burn with that program, you will see nothing on the CD with any other OS than windows XP. Be warned.

Avast does not. It's not really a good antivirus either at the number of false positives you get with it. Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy are two good antispywares.

I wouldn't update it right now anyway, I reverted back to Firefox 3 because of crash problems and the such, I would still wait a few weeks.

I almost bought an Asus. It had the same exact specs as the HP (except for the NVIDA/ATI graphics card) and I think the price. So I picked it on the look and brand name. Asus had a weird [wagon] design on the front and the HP just had a glossy black. And HP is a better brand than Asus. No. Asus is better. HP had a overheating problem for quite a while, although they have changed that. Between my Asus laptop and my friend's HP laptop with greater specs (as in, more RAM and faster processor), my Asus laptop was still faster and I never had to format it while my friend formatted his laptop quite a few times this last year. Oh yeah, my HP has 4 cores apparently. The Asus has/had two. Good luck with your customer service good sir. Why would I need customer service? Lol. And Asus's website is quite easy for me to navigate to find the drivers. But I could say the same thing to you lol. I've had a few encounters with HP Customer support for my desktop, and they don't even know what they're talking about. Once sent a mail asking if there was a BIOS update, since it's not on the website, and the answer I received was not related to BIOS or drivers at all.
