I know that here in N-B, unless you're in the 3 biggest cities, public transport is non-existant. Even with taxis if you're in the smaller cities and towns expect to pay way more than in the cities, they charge for the road to go get you AND the road you do while in the taxi.

Apparently they shut it down with pressure form the label companies because MU was coming with a new service called MegaBox which would allow artists to put their music on it and to get 90% of the money, and even get money from free downloads of their songs. I don't remember where I saw it, I think it was on torrentfreak or something.

Update on my stats. For my K/D I don't really care about it so that's why it's not high, I prefer having fun than going for this kind of thing. Pretty proud of the Win/Loss ratio though considering I mostly play alone. [hide][/hide] About the recon drone, it's pretty easy to shoot down if you have good aim, especially if you have akimbo machine pistols. Also I'm getting tired of this game, and I don't know what else to play.

Well, I think the first fast paced FPS on the new generation of consoles will have today's CoD role. CoD is nearing its end.

Snowstorm isn't started yet here, but even with very bad temperatures they don't close the college here. At least we are finally getting a real storm this winter, extremely rare that we get mostly freezing rain. We're expecting 30cm, which is real compared to the 10cm snow + 10mm freezing rain we've been having so far. Usually these 30cm storms happen almost weekly here.

Wireless cards aren't expensive if you want to add one to the computer. Same with the USB ones, they're not expensive either.

Agreed on the Intel motherboards. The real competition is between Asus and Gigabyte, but Asrock is also a very good brand to go for.

Try the platform in the top right of Underground by the taxi, and the single storied house near A on Bootleg (I think there are spawns there). I was able to go prone at both those places. I don't know if it's a particular spot that you can't.

What kind of flicker is it? It can depend on a number of things including the screen itself.

If you do not intend of using an SSD at all with this computer, and want to lower the price a bit, you could go with a P67 motherboard instead of a z68. There's not a lot of difference between them except for the SSD and onboard video stuff.

It is in Canada at least. And I believe in the states, there is a minimum wage for waiters, it's just less than the "normal" minimum wage - they can't be paid less than that. I could be wrong though. I think it depends on the province. Here in Manitoba waiters are paid minimum wage regardless of their tips. Same in New-Brunswick as far as I know.

I can't understand why they don't close college when everything else is closed including stores. If the funding system works the same way as ontario high schools, the college receives a certain amount of allotted funding per student per day the college is open. So they don't get any government money if they close the school (even if little or no students are actually there). That's the way it works here. I don't know if it's the same there, but if it is that's certainly an explanation. It could be, but they closed the schools 3 times so far this year, but college never closed this year. The college is government run though, so there's a chance it might work like that. We still have to pay for the tuition and stuff though.

Looks like I'm going to have my car brakes replaced. Been hearing some noise since last wednesday and was hoping that it was just some kind of dirt in there, but it's not giong away. Appointment next Friday though, so I'll know there for sure what's making that noise.

As I posted, I only tip if I had good service, but there's more to it. I tip very well when I do tip, and I do not tip when I'm not satisfied of the job. The exception is that when I go to bars or clubs I will always give a very fat tip at least the first drink, this way they usually go to me first when I go for another drink. It gives them a good tip, and I get better service, which is why I don't regret giving bigger tips.

Asus is definitely the brand I would recommend the most. Both my laptops are Asus (one from 4 years ago, and one from a few months ago) and I have never had any issues with them. For my 4 year old laptop, the battery still holding about 1h30 of time is a +. Same with the multiple Asus parts in my desktop. I can't say the same for lenovo though, from the fact that people are renting that brand from college and that half had the motherboards replaced before the end of the second year.

I only tip when I have good service. If the service isn't good, I won't tip because the service isn't worth my hard earned money.

500-ish bucks seems a bit too expensive for a lower end laptop like this one. I belive it will be able to play it at max settings but I think you can find better for a lower price. At least you can in my region.

Just look at today's daily and weekly challenges. There's your answer.

I've been to .nl websites before, it would need to be coded on the website not to let other countries come in.

Currently using my 37" tv as my computer monitor, bigger than my laptop monitor and I'm too lazy to start my main desktop.

If the vacuum isn't made for computers, I strongly suggest against using the vacuum on the computer. Same with a toothbrush, it could take off some components as well as create some static electricity. The best and cheapest way of doing it would be to use a can of compressed air to clear out the dust from the computer.

Talking about design, it's the controller design that made me go with the 360. It's big enough for my fingers and well rounded and fat, which fits better with my larger hands. To me the PS3 controller is too small and uncomfortable. It's the reason I went with the 360 instead of the PS3.
