What was the exploit? My friend told me about it. I don't know much, but what he told me was that there was some kind of a glitch to get unlimited prestige tokens if you currently had 1. All I know. So far half my friends have been banned from it. Somehow my one friend that was saying to everyone that he had a month of double XP from that prestige token thing hasn't been banned yet, meaning that it's not over yet.

The key length of characters is 8. At least that's what I learned in college. Lower than 8 characters is apparently easy to crack whatever the case.

I have to disagree with you there. I've been running a Dell Latitude D620 for about 5 years now. It runs basically 24/7, including in my truck at work, and I've never had a problem with it. OT - the laptop you posted would fit your needs nicely and is an excellent bargain for the price. :thumbup: 5 years ago is still in Dell's good years. Too old which means that you have one of the good Dells. Compare these old dells to today's dells, and today's dells will have problems, while the old ones won't.

I strongly suggest not to go for a Dell, since a few years ago, they tend to break quite a lot and easily. I have quite a few examples of situations.

That laptop shouldn't have too much trouble playing these games at mid-high settings. Also is quite a good price for the specs. I'd definitely get the laptop you have posted.

Also apparently people that have done the prestige token exploit are getting temporary bans.

In free for all I agreed to that revenge spawn system, which took time to get used to, but I guess we'll need to find out what the new spawns will be.

Also it's much safer when using a password longer than 8 characters long as well.

Feels good to be back home with a good connection (low ping ftw). Every few hours of MW3 I play the K/D goes up a bit.

Can you tell us what you did to resolve the issue? Usually when there's so many hardware changes, Windows won't be able to load because of the drivers not being there.

Go for what's most fun for you. I personally do not care about my K/D. All I play for is fun, and maybe XP on the side.

Yes, I do hipfire a lot, especially since it's pretty good when using a sub machine gun, and it's the kind of gun I use the most in MW3, especially the P90. Also it's MW2's 5th prestige, but I stopped prestiging at that point in that game. I could prestige anytime I want. Also, for the K/D, below Overdoziz's quote. The K/D went down a lot on my parent's connection because I basically had to predict where people were and I had to shoot something like 1 second before I actually see them to actually get hitmarkers. I think you're right about the speed, but I don't know if it's because of the bad speed that I was getting such a bad ping. It wasn't that much over 1 before I went to my parent's place though, and I rush a lot because it's how I like to play. Oh I see, I probably never noticed because of the fact that I only recently got into groups.

Tried it today, and it feels awesome. I did have to put a little bit of hot water so that it wouldn't get too cold (especially when it's close to -20C here). Maybe I didn't notice a huge difference because of the fact that my showers already weren't warm enough to fog the mirrors.

I can say the same for my situation as a Canadian citizen, especially since Harper got the majority. Then again it was pretty hard to decide who to vote for.

Yeah, I love Team Defender because there's no campers, and it really has been my favorite mode in MW3. I used to play mostly S&D.

Why not just call home and have a parent get you guys? That's what I usually do on NYE since no one wants to be the DD. Also I may be lucky since I'm 24 and my parents don't mind me calling in the middle of the night to get me, since they support the fact that I never drink and drive. Also there are no cabs in my town. My parents mind, though (both that I drink and if I called them up in the middle of the night). :\ Well, you could always call a cab. Make sure you don't drive to the party either, so you won't forget and accidentally drive home. EDIT: forgot that new years was yesterday. Well, you could always do this next time. Where I live, for major things like new years there are always people who sober drive for money as well. Last year a guy who camped on my lawn made ~$300 driving people for that one night. It's illegal to drive for money if you're not a cab driver, where I live.

Going back to my place tomorrow. With friends gone from the region my parents live in, I'll be back near my current college friends. Thing is, the lack of jobs has pushed people my age to the south of the province, and to Alberta.
