  1. I'm pretty sure the bones and vial weren't there before I killed him, but your explanation makes sense. Thanks for your help! Das, I'm with you, RS2 will never be as good as RSC pking, but I really think this update is about as good as they will get it given the RS2 combat system
  2. Lol okay so my target was this 1 iteming noob that I killed. He was 55 and so was I. I kill him without him really eating and only getting a vial. For some reason he stays my target. He comes back out and bothers me while I'm fighting someone else, so now I have to fight him. This time he has food. I was going to run to save my food but I hated this little dude and wanted to kill him again. I killed him for the second time, and to my surprise I get: rune large, rune pick, rune mace, power and strength ammy, and 37 addy arrows, and now he's not my target!?? I'm very confused, but I mean I'm not going to complain  . Anyone know why these two things would happen?
  3. Lol before the GE people complained about merchants, then the G.E came out, and they were fine. Now that people found new ways to merchant, you guys are complaining again. Your complaints should be with Jagex for not really leaving merchants an option, not for the people who make money that way. I'll agree, some items that end up being 1mil when they are really only worth 300k is messed up, but what else do you want them to do?
  4. I should just point out that . Maan that's so cold hahahaha... I don't blame you for posting it though rofl
  5. Um pretty much everyone in a Frat at my ASU (Appalachian State University), is pretty much the butt of jokes and frowned upon. I know there are "good" frats out there, and if you could find one, they can actually be cool, but you'll still have an extremely negative stereotype.. There's a reason frat-boys have negative stereotypes, because almost all of them bring it on themselves. Most are douches, immature, big-headed, clueless, and probably infested by STD's because they always hook up with sorority chicks who are mostly [bleep]s lol. My view on frats is *most* are just douchebags who pay for friends and think they are badass because they are in frats when really no one likes them, which is why they had to join a frat in the first place. These guys pay like 500 bucks a semester to basically blend in with a bunch of guys who are just like them. They dress the same, act the same, and go to all the same things. I know guys who joined frats and never hung out with their old friends again because their frats forbade it. If you can find a frat that actually does some good, and isn't full of a bunch of [developmentally delayed]s, it's worth joining if you don't mind everyone viewing you as a douche. EDIT: kranked, your opinion is stupid Anyways if you're worried about making friends, a frat isn't really the best way to do it IMO. You will probably make friends on your floor/dorm, you could make friends in your classes, you will make friends from friends of your high school friends, and there's a TON of clubs you could join so you could be friends with people who have similar interests. Pretty much the only way you won't make friends in college is if you stay in your room the whole time.. You will be fine trust me, you'll probably be wondering what you were ever worrying about a week into school. You probably won't even need to do this, but if you don't seem to be making friends right off the bat, be active and pursue relationships with people, without being overwhelming and annoying. People will see you making an effort, just be yourself, and if they're a good match for you, you should hit it off.
  6. Here's a review my friend sent me that pretty much sums it up for the most part.. http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/09/for ... ash-1.html
  7. So who has it? Apparently it is HORRIBLE for the 360, but I wanted to hear people's opinions here. I heard the Wii one was significantly different, so I was considering maybe buying the Wii version, if it is significantly different than the 360 one. I'm surprised no one has made a topic on this game yet
  8. I've really been wanting to travel lately, but I don't even know how to begin trying to organize it. Organizing a trip to London is a pain to me, how can you even begin organizing a trip around the whole freakin globe? Any pointers, or links to sites that offer some good advice about how to plan a trip like that? Really cool pictures btw, let us know if you get the exact financials figured out, I'm interested to know.. Did you just work a couple years after school and save up to fund it or what?
  9. Sheesh how about Georgia barely beating South Carolina, UCLA getting RAPED, the week after beating UT, and not that it's that much of a surprise, USC killing OSU?
  10. Just like to point out all of the people telling everyone to get over it was in like 2nd grade when it happened, just found that kind of funny
  11. It kind of bothers me as well, and it does seem it doesn't seem like as big of a deal as its been in the past. Today they had little flags out on our green space on campus for every person who died in the attacks, which is pretty crazy to look at. As for no one caring on these boards, I feel like it can be attributed to the age factor. Heck I'm a sophomore in college and I was only in 7th grade when it happened. I still remember it like it was yesterday, even though I didn't really understand the huge deal about it at the time. Today I've felt like I should be doing something like watching one of those videos they always have on TV commemorating the heroes and victims from that day, and getting goosebumps from it, but I haven't really seen much being done about it. RIP all of those who died on 9/11/01 I don't think we would be necessarily fearing it, if anything I feel like we are respecting those who risked their lives to save others, of course in addition to the ones who died without a chance to do anything about it. I will agree with you there though, that the attack pales in comparison to a lot of things that happen in every day life elsewhere. I still think it's okay for us to see it as a fairly big deal though
  12. A friend of mine went to the Michigan-App game, that must have been insane to see that many people silent while you are going absolutely insane. I was watching this game at this place with like 500 other App people on campus, and I have to say that was the most exciting moment of my life
  13. =P. I always started rooting for you guys after that, I knew a lot of Michigan fans that were really good sports about it. You guys are top 20 in the AP poll though, so I'm sure you guys are in pretty decent shape at least.. Plus you guys got Rich, which could either be a really good thing or a bad thing
  14. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure I still have it activated. I had logged on within the 6 month limit but since then I haven't had p2p on it, so I dunno. Anyways his name is 'ki11a pick1e' can't remember levels, but I think somewhere in the 90s
  15. Appalachian State baby! Doubt we will pull off another upset this year, but ticket sales have gone up 65% this year apparently, or maybe that was season tickets. Last year I think we had about ~29,000 people in our ~16,000 person stadium. Man home games are freakin insane. We also have a televised home game on HALLOWEEN NIGHT on ESPN2 against one of the two teams who beat us last year, so we will be looking for some revenge. The LSU game is going to be televised as well
  16. Hey Kayla, it's been awhile =P. Sorry to hear you're in a situation like this. Anyways even though this won't help your situation at all if your parents don't realize this, but you in all likelihood would probably be seeing your parents just as much being 4 hours away as 1500mi or whatever it was you said. I live an hour and a half away from home and I've been home 3 times first semester, all of which were week long breaks or a month long. Now you might not go home during those one week breaks but you will at least see them every month. I love my parents but honestly I haven't missed them in the least bit (don't tell them that =p). Peter makes a very valid point, I mean put yourself in their shoes. Imagine raising your child for such a long time then they end up leaving you to be independent adults. In my opinion it's harder for the parents than for the kids, ESPECIALLY if you are a only child/the first to go/the last. Anyways if you can somehow manage it maybe you can get a meeting with a counselor a long with your parents, and if not just ask an adviser/counselor for advice. It's going to suck having those loans going to an out of state school, but you can probably be your own judge as to whether it's worth it or not. In all honesty, you may want to call the police or something like that. I don't really think it would be that extreme, just tell them the situation and they might be able to help out as far as your dad wanting to kill your boyfriend. I don't know how serious he was about that, but if he really was serious I don't think that's something you can just let slide off. Anyways the best of luck to you with your decision, you will have fun no matter where you go. College for me so far at least has been an AMAZING experience so far and I've only done one semester of it. Don't let it get to you too much, things will work out for the better, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time (or even for awhile). Keep us updated =P
  17. What level are you making your rogue? I have a 39 right now who I still need a few more pieces for and some more enchants but he's already a beast ambush rogue. Snippet -Frostmane if you want to armory him.. Here is the link: http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/chara ... &n=Snippet
  18. Except for the fact that OSU beat Michigan xD Appalachian State? We aren't D2, we were Divison 1 - AA, but now it's all considered D1 or something, it's confusing. It's not like Michigan lost to just any "D2" team, we won 3 national championships back to back to back =P.
  19. I was cheering for you guys and I thought about you when they were playing since I remembered you go there. You guys had a rough season and it being Lloyd Carr's last game, it was really awesome seeing you guys win =P. Congratulations! Were you there btw?
  20. When you're reading, perhaps read a dictionary for awhile. Btw you're pretty much doing the worst possible things for staying awake. Being in a dark room, on your bed, READING? You are not very intelligent even for a 13 year old
  21. The thing is kids don't know any better, and they grow up thinking they need to look like the stars in the media
