  1. Is there one? I never did clan wars but I read about it some. It sounds like Bounty Hunter is the same thing, but without the teams being set in stone. Amirite?
  2. BAHAHAHAHAH, there is no way the OP can be serious, and if he is..BAHAHAHAH
  3. I think comparing the lead singer to Freddie Mercury is a stretch, plus I don't think their styles are really alike at all
  4. OP will probably ignore this post too but anyways Wouldn't that make him stupid himself for getting involved with these stupid friends?
  5. That's why you hang around dudes who carry guns right? Genius
  6. Was this perhaps before the App game =P? Wasn't the best experience of your life fater that was it? :P sorry, had to say it :-$ Actually it was =P. I was at Legends, the club where some of the App students were watching the game. We had a projector and there were about 500 people there watching. Needless to say after the blocked field goal it was *INSANE!* I've never gone so crazy in my life. Kind of sad we get so happy over beating Michigan, but it's alright. There were a lot of idiots saying crap like "F Michigan" for the next few weeks for no reason. It was cool to win but I really feel bad for them lol, especially with the way their season went. /brag That picture reminds me of Jennifer Love Hewitt (sp) No offense meant or anything, but a monster truck rally doesn't exactly seem to be the best place for a double date (which it seems like here), unless they happen to like monster trucks? You're the most modest person I know. I'll try to find some good pictures when it's not 3am. Also, since real life pictures are allowed, can we have a topic with everyone's facebook/myspace pages if they want to share with people? Edit: It seems there is something very common with kids 14 or younger: very long hair that looks ridiculous. Then for teenagers and some young adults it seems most people seem to bring up their drunkenness as a reason for not having pics or just to throw in there as an excuse to why they don't look that great. Just something I noticed...
  7. Was this perhaps before the App game =P?
  8. Dang dude, that was awesome! Watching 20v1 fights are so cool!!!
  9. It's more of a question. We the PKers, and Stakers are waiting for more counter-arguments from the people who post that the updates which screw over us are good. [/hide] Seems sort of like saying that.. if there was a magical coin spawn in the middle of nowhere that was like 5million GP (oh and it took skill to get it because there are some other people that know about it and want it, and there are some monsters or something). Then Jagex removed that coin spawn, would you honestly feel bad for the people that couldn't make a living anymore by getting this coin spawn? Now, thinking about it, staking has been too easy. You can get 99 range or magic in UNDER a week easily (provided you have the funds). After that week, you are pretty much guaranteed your investment plus a TON more in return. I can't say that is a very good analogy at all, but I think I got what you were saying after I read the next sentence. Gaining money with skilling is easy too, but with staking there is a huge potential for how much you can make. 99 in a week? Has there been some sort of ridiculous update that makes gaining xp ridiculously fast or something, because that seems absurd to me.. Even if you do get 99 range/mage there are tens of thousands out there who also have 99, so it's not like you have any better of a shot to win a ton with 99 range/mage, because chances are you are going to be staking others with similar stats. Anyways if staking was as easy and "guaranteed your investment plus a TON more in return," I'm pretty sure everybody would be staking, and everyone would be millionaires. One problem. Staking does anything BUT guarantee a return, it's all about risk/reward. Sure you can make a ton of money, but there is also a huge risk of losing all of your wealth. Skilling does guarantee a steady source of income without any risk (for the most part). Btw, thank you all for the posts, I'm glad there are some people out there who agree with me. What started this whole post was people saying they were happy merchanting/staking were ruined simply because they had a hatred for those groups of people for no reason.
  10. Thank you, this is the kind of response I was looking for. I guess I can understand that, but these people pkers and stakers profit from are doing the same thing. People don't lose money to merchants, they simply have potential to make more money than they end up making from the merchants... Actually, they really don't because the people who need certain things for skills normally don't buy in low quantities like that, so really merchants are usually paying a fair price for low quantity items. Lady: Nice post, except I think you missed the main point of my topic =p. Thanks for your nicely written post though
  11. Elitist is much different than elite ;). I would argue merchanting does take a certain amount of skill, mainly when it comes to the haggling aspect. Ed: Completely missed the point of the topic
  12. I thought I made it clear that I meant the "elitist skillers," those skillers who DO hate pkers/duelers/merchants. Sorry for the confusion I guess I didn't make myself clear enough, but I'm not stereotyping skillers, I'm asking the ones who act so condescending towards the others Ok, well.... Then the elitest skillers are just jerks  Yea =p, but the main purpose of this topic was to find out why those guys have the opinions they do. It makes no sense to me, and I want to find out why they think the way they do.
  13. If you haven't noticed all this game consists of is clicking, and training a pure/staker does not require any skill either. I never said the act of training one of them did, I was talking about the actual act of it. I thought I made it clear that I meant the "elitist skillers," those skillers who DO hate pkers/duelers/merchants. Sorry for the confusion I guess I didn't make myself clear enough, but I'm not stereotyping skillers, I'm asking the ones who act so condescending towards the others
  14. Maybe elitist wasn't the best word, perhaps I should have used arrogant, ignorant, hypocrites, or maybe just idiotic. Anyways you've certainly heard a lot of these people who are extremely condescending towards multiple groups of people such as stakers, merchants and pkers. For some reason they seem to think clicking hours on end to increase there skills (which ironically requires no skill at all) is more respectable than staking/pking/merchanting. Anyways, my question to you guys: Why? Somebody please enlighten me about the logic these fools use to come up with some of their ideas. What do you guys have against merchants? Stakers? Pkers? I have yet heard a valid argument as to why these people are worse than skillers. Personally I think skilling is the dumbest out of all of them, as all you do is click the same pattern over and over again for each skill (for most skills). I have no problem with people who do skill though, I used to do it a lot when I did play, but then I realized even when I achieved my goals, sure it felt kind of good to have accomplished something, but it was at no point FUN. Staking and pking are both fun, and personally I enjoy merchanting too. Also with those 3 your average Joe can't achieve a large amount of success without being somewhat skilled (yes luck has a HUGE part to do with it but still. Btw, is it just me or did Jagex manage to ruin 2 of the 3 most enjoyable parts of the game for a lot of people in 2 weeks? Are they going to remove pking since you can transfer money by having it in your inventory then having the person you are transferring it to pick it up? Wouldn't surprise me at all. EDIT: I guess I didn't make this clear enough. I'm not saying all skillers think this, I am talking about the ones who DO hate those 3 groups of people, so don't get offended if you are a skiller. I have no problems with skillers, just the ones who look down on others like pkers/stakers/merchants
  15. Did you take into account the time it would take to sell 300 air talismans for the normal price? I can't imagine this method would be anywhere near profitable.
  16. Perhaps you could elaborate and contribute to the discussion, rather than insulting the author. Fair enough, I will oblige What? How are stakers "merchants who buy 'wins?'" You hope Jagex screws up their game even more just to stop RWTs? The main reason I called you an idiot was because you act like what you're assuming is a fact. How do you know what Jagex's intentions were? The wilderness is still "a place where players [can] show their combat skills off and have some fun while doing it." I don't even think that was necessarily their intention to begin with, and I'm pretty sure they have enough common sense to realize that it would turn into a competitive area, I mean this isn't the first time an mmorpg has done PvP. Wow you are smart. Yea, I think Jagex made staking so people could show off and NOT risk anything.. Okay. You have to remember the Duel Arena was created after the duel system that was already in place from RSC, the just centralized it into one area and added some extra rules and aesthetics to make it look nice. How is this obvious? Once again making these assumptions.. Wow first time you used "probably" when you were making an assumption instead of sounding 100% sure about it. If the Grand Exchange works how everyone seems to think it will work, autoers can just trade their gold on there. Uhh people still make new accounts all the time.. How would that make it so there are only "decent" Pkers now? If you drop trade, you are still making the money on your own, I don't understand why all of you idiots have a problem with drop trading. You hate it simply because it's a rule and Jagex tells you it's bad. There isn't a reasonable reason why. No, because it's not even necessarily going to happen, QUIT ACTING LIKE YOU HAVE SOME SORT OF INSIGHT ABOUT WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. It's completely hypothetical. If it does happen, I will not like it at all, it will pretty much ruin RS and the only people left will be morons like you. I bet no one (especially the OP) will bother to respond to my post I took awhile to type but whatever. Just obliging tuttle's request. The OP will pretend he didn't see this because he won't have any decent response.
  17. I too am an elitist old school RS player
  18. Was I the only one that throughout the entire OP, all I could think about was how much of an ignorant idiot the OP is?
  19. And vegetables smarter than many humans... Were you attempting to diss me? Lol Pathetic Do you think I was? Es no mi problemo latino! YOu state that the world is full of greed, meaning greedy people, understating that the guy who accepted is greedy. If thats not what you meant, than your post is pointless in this topic. I therefore state that the world is full of people dumb enough to create opportunities for greedy people, or even people who aren't greedy, but become greedy when they see how easy it is to become. But go ahead and believe what you want, just don't flatter yourself in believing everything is about you, simply because you were quoted. [/hide] Dumb I have Dyslexia, sometimes I get Numbers mixed up when I type them, i put in an Extra 0, how does this make me Dumb? What an [wagon]. You're dumb because you bothered to post this topic
  20. Ejaculate? Oh boy, I hope I'm right, or I'm going to seem disgusting.. Yes, it looks like a man just unloaded into a pretty girl's mouth. Limpbizkit, you can't stop the connotation unless everyone immediately knows what it is, which they won't, because they'll immediately think it's something else... To be honest, I'm more offended by his name than his avatar. Not to mention his sig, is that Cher lol?
  21. Lol, that was probably the most intelligent thing I've ever read What kind of stuff did you get from launched 50k fire bolts?
  22. i smell jealousy. :-w Jealousy over no lifing? I doubt he had that in mind. You should talk about no lifing, even if you were being sarcastic in your first post are you gonna actually get on topic with these threads, or quote [cabbage] over every legitmite posts i make? Maybe once you make an intelligent post and ignoring my post that was directed at you when you know I'm right
  23. That's some bull. He earned more money that you did without manipulating, and who cares if he sold his gold? That just shows he prioritizes his life over this game. It's a pretty dumb rule to begin with. Manipulating people and going against a questionable rule are two different things. Yeah, I like the fake modesty to stroke your ego even further. Can't say I really have anything wrong with you ego, except maybe your ego.. no pun intended.. My post is kind of offensive, but I don't want you to take that much offense by it, if that makes any sense :anxious:
