Something like that yeah. I did enjoy the red/blue deal on gameboy. I was younger than though. Now a days its just stupid though, way too many things to keep track of. Agreed. I lost interest after red/blue (although it may be because I wasn't 11 years old anymore =x). Too many pokemon, I was fine with the original 151.

So what are these games you are basing this claim on? The small collection of xbox games you have in your closet that consists of halo and halo2 along with a couple other random games? Modern games for sure. I think almost anyone who says otherwise is probably trying to sound like they are all oldschool just because they like the older games more. But yea, modern games along with bringing out the old n64 every month or so or playing some nintendo games I bought on the wii.

Cool idea for a topic I don't know if this would really count but I think the Northern Lights are amazing. I really want to see them. That would just be freaky man. I wouldn't want to do that because theres those cages around the edge are like 2 feet high.

If you want DPS this is pretty good especially because of the stats. What Nadril said. Plus, you're a pally so you have seal of the crusader which increases attack speed. You should be using that if you aren't already. If you want, you can go buy a low level 2h mace with the fastest speed you can find for cheap and level up using that on mobs lower than you but not too low. Enough that you get a good amount of hits in before changing mobs.

KOTOR 2 I think I have played 4 times, 3 of those times right after each other :P . KOTOR 1 I played at least 6 times, and I played 4 times right after each other there :D . :shock: Wow, sweet. What different kinds of characters did you try in KOTRII? In KOTR I, how soon do you get a lightsaber? Also is the plot in the 2nd one a continuation of the first?

Actually Dusty, it did take me awhile to get the lightsaber. I think I've played at least 15-20 hours on this game and I just got it. Granted it took me forever to figure out how to get out of a few places, but wow I am so happy I finally got it. I kind of wish I got a single lightsaber because I wanted to get two of them but I just didn't know if you could or not. So I ended up getting a violet double-sided one. Quite awesome =P. Also Dusty, if you beat it with boy sides on KOTR 1 and 2, I'd say thats a pretty decent amount of replay-ability. Is the story pretty much the exact same if you do the other side, like I'll probably be bored if I do it right after this as a light side character?

So I rented the game again for the first time after two years and three days xD. I was confused when I played from my old file so I started a new one and I'm going down the dark path. Basically I'm just making this thread for any kind of discussion about KOTR II but I also wanted to ask a few questions to anyone who has played it. As I previously stated, I want to go down the dark path, so I've been picking dialogue that will help out with that, but when I do so, I lose influence with Kreia and Atton. Will this come back to bite me in the butt later, or is it okay? I want them to help me still but I also want dark points. What I REALLY want to know is when can I get my lightsaber? How long does it take to build one? I just got to Telos or whatever and I've been chilling in my room for a bit, so I'm not that far. Basically I want to know if I'll be able to get it soon considering there is only two more days until school starts up again for us. This game is pretty sweet. I'm considering buying it if I can find it for about $20/30. How is the replay-ability? After I beat it will I be able to start a new file and perhaps go down the light side? Also, is the first KOTR any good? I haven't heard much about it. EDIT: Being stuck on Telos is REALLLLLY annoying me... So are all of these load screens. Another question: Does getting light/dark side powers affect your alignment?

Studying abroad sounds like something that would be an amazing experience, both for an educational value, and just to experience a new place where the people have much different lifestyles. I just don't know if it would that practical. I don't know much about what the whole deal is with traveling abroad, but I figure you just have classes in another country. It would probably be really expensive plus I don't know if I'm THAT ready to go off on my own like that. I think if I could share the experience with a good friend of mine, I would really enjoy it. If there is one thing I do before I die, it would be seeing the northern lights. So, I would really like to go somewhere up in the North like Iceland maybe.

Anyways going along with what warri0r said, I had the stomach flu and that was probably the worse day/night of my life, well the first night I had it. I threw up 2 times during the Carolina-Duke basketball game. Then I woke up 4 more times and threw up mostly nothing. Psychologically and physically it was horrible. I don't really feel like going more in depth about it so I'll stop there.

I don't think the OP is talking about a hypothetical worse day of your life, I think he wants people to share the worst day they have actually experienced.

Yes, most NES or games around that time were really hard, mainly because you couldn't save your progress. You pretty much had to beat the game in one sitting. It was extremely frustrating spending hours to get to the last level only to get a game over and start over again. I bought Contra 3 for SNES on my Wii the other day and my brother and I have spent a ton of time on it and we haven't really even gotten that far because it's hard to get motivated after spending all of that time only to get a game over and start over again, so we usually just quit. Granted these games don't take 50 hours to complete like some games these days, but it's still a lot for one sitting until you master the game.

Plus this topic has been done at least 2, maybe 3 times that I can clearly remember. I think Wakka made the most recent one, I wonder how his body building is going.
