Heh, i'll rarely laugh when saying lol. Its just one of those "paying attention" things like nad said. Perhaps its used whenever you are talking about something that isn't serious, but isnt funny either. Its just light humour I guess. So yeah, I rarely ever laugh when I use lol. Lmao is the only other one I use really, and thats used for something that makes me smile, or even get a short laugh out of. If not, i'll still use lmao for anything meant to be really funny.

Well I'm sure everyone has seen the screenshots and videos out by now! I managed to get it last night, finally, and am on it now. Everything looks so awesome, but it'll take a bit to get used to it. Thank god I have it before its released, so I can have that time to adjust. Things are...different. For some reason it seems a bit more complicated, more things going on. I'll get used to it soon tho, I'm sure. Everything looks and works great. Startup time is just under a minute for me, but shutdown takes quite a while. I'll post some of my own screenshots soon.

As far as I can remember, you can't just talk to anyone through a picture. At least not any dead person. What would be the point of death then? For you to linger around in a pic? Nah. If so, don't you think Harry would have talked to his parents thru pics? I believe in the books, all we are told is that the former Hogwards Headmasters have their pictures up on walls, and the picture contains perhaps a part of their memory that will forever look after the castle. So Harry won't be able to speak to Dumbledore really, he will just be talking to the memory...I guess...of Dumbledore.

Ok, 297 is the official toll on the plane, at least 48 have minor injuries. As little as 3 busloads full of people have been taken to local hospitals. The airplane itself skidded 200 feet before stopping, crashing into a rivine not too far from the highway itself. The plane is more or less completely destroyed. At this time, the fires are believe to have been put out.

As far as I know, Dell makes great computers for anyone who does not wish to build their own. They have decent prices, and great cs. I have 1 Dell comp atm, and used to own a Dell DJ. No complaints about Dell coming from me.

If you would like opinions, it would be awesome if we had something to give you an opinion on. There are literally dozens of Dell comps that can do what you're asking. Find a few of em that you like, and post a link for opinions. A price range would also be great.

I've cheated quite a few times, but only to help other people. Yeah, I'm the guy everyone wants to cheat off of. So I help everyone out, I don't mind. They'll never be able to cheat in University or at their Job after Uni, so its their own fault. If they want to rely on me, go ahead. Mind you, I do get answers wrong. Lol. Never got caught either. However, now I'm entering gr 11 I prob will stop "cheating" for others on tests. Universities are looking, so I'm only working for myself now. Screw everyone else. As for cheating with an MP3 player, thats pretty easy. Teachers say no mp3s during test, but thats just because they don't want you to be distracted by the music. I can easily record my notes on my iPod and play em during a test. However, thats really, really stupid lol. Whats the point? I don't need to do effort ful things like that to get a good grade. :wink: Cheating won't really help me at all. If I don't know the work, I don't deserve a good grade. Simple as that. You can cheat the system, but you can't cheat your conscience. Think about that one.

iPods. Yes. IPod or Ipod. Eww. iPod. Yes. Get my point? :P Back on topic tho, yes, you can only load files from one computer onto your iPod, UNLESS you have your entire music library on multiple computers. If you do, you can use more than one computer. So to answer directly, there is no real limit to how many comps u can use your iPod with. What the iPod does when connected is boot up into iTunes on the computer. The computer then, by default will try to auto update the iPod. If you have say 600 songs on the iPod and your iTunes has no files, it will prob say something like "This iPod is linked to a different library, Would you like to replace the files on your iPod with that of this library? Yes/No. So yeah, you need your entire music library to use on multiple computers. As for wmas, iTunes will convert it to AAC for you, without a problem. So no worries at all there. iPod + iTunes...an unbeatable combo. Good luck on purchasing an iPod, i'd highly reccomend one. Take note that I've went thru a couple hundred dollar mp3 players so far, and I'm going no further. The iPod is truely...amazing. Wow, am I a "fanboy" or what? :lol: :oops:

Pic is horrible, as Merc mentioned, you can't see ----. I dunno, but it seems as if you are wanting to use Limewire tunes as a subfolder in iTunes? Yeah, when I'm on Limewire it pops up, but I ignore it. Any iPod/iTunes user should be ashamed to say he/she uses Limewire tunes as a sub folder in iTunes. Disgracefull! Just dl songs into your music folder, and add the contents of your music folder to iTunes. Screw Limewire tunes. Ewwwww.

Can I swap the file menu? Nope. Its quite ugly having the file bar below the adress bar, maybe Microsoft thinks they're being original or something :lol: (lol). As for Merc's pics, the blank mini tab next to the reg is fine with me, its just the new page tab anyways. Doesnt bother me. What annoys me is the small home button, and the back and forward buttons at the top left. I swear I couldn't find the back button. I was so mad too. Lol. Cause I looked and saw the home button, and there was no back button around there. Only stupid useless things like Research and Discuss. Eww. But if they make it so we can swap bars around to how we want it, that would be ideal. I'm almost certain it'll happen in the final release. 1 more thing to add, I previously had a Windows blind theme installed, Dogmax to be exact, and IE7 didnt function properly. It gave me black areas around the adress bar, as if it wasnt loaded properly? Is this because the skin doesn't know how to theme IE7? Or that IE7 has no support for the skin? I dunno. But I changed back to the default Windows XP blue, and it works great now.

Yeah, I was thinking that, but he said all his songs are duped anyways. So clicking that will just show the entire library, with 2 copies of each song = no help at all :wink:

Sorry for the amazingly slow 2 day response lol, but if it still kinda helps, I also had my songs duplicated, and took a bit to remove it. However, you could just delete the itunes file inside your folder, which resets ur library. Then highlight all files in side your music folder, and there you go. If that doesnt work, try holding control down while clicking on 1 of each song. Yeah, its annoying, but at least you'll be able to highlight every other song, and do only 1 clear at the end.

^ lol funny. Well, has anyone tried out IE7 yet? I dled Beta, and from the average user stand point, its a nicer looking interface change. I dunno the security details, as I'm no expert. But I guess thats why these things were out in beta for...experts lol. Oh well, still nice to give it a sneek peak during beta anyways, nothing better to do. It's a nice alternative to Opera to say the least. Whenever Opera won't load something, I'll prob open IE now, rather than having all Opera, IE and Firefox installed.
